I'd definitely go with the Gladiator, It looks awesome in person and there is going to be tons of aftermarket stuff for them and eventually a diesel option.
Start carrying a bow saw, or even better a cordless Sawzall. With a good wood blade. Makes cutting fire wood much faster and easier. Bow saw for pieces bigger than the blade on the sawzall.
Nice episode!! Meal looked good. You mentioned your buddy getting a suspension upgrade. Do a walk around of his rig. I’m thinking of suspension upgrade too but don’t know the difference of the long and short travel kit but I do the trails and off-roading you do. Nothing hardcore like wheeling or rock crawling
I have a 2011 FJ but when I go to another vehicle I’m definitely buying a Jeep Gladiator, just not sure if going for the Rubicon is worth the extra cost over the Sport S.

I haven't been to the Stewart Homestead yet I'm Not sure of the exact whereabouts... looks like y'all had fun as always..good job and keep up the videos
Hey! Don't ever hesitate to come up to us if you see my truck. Or tell us to shut the heck up if we are too loud lol. The yellow flies were bad, but they tend to leave me alone. I didn't even use bug spray yesterday. The Stewart Homestead is kind of hard to find on your own. It's in the preserve and you usually have to walk a round trip of 10 miles to get to it. We usually do our trail riding the day we camp, that way we can leave in the morning and get back to our normal schedule.
Haven't seen the Gladiator in person but would need too. Not sure how I feel about the length. I'm not a hard core off road person but some back roads and stuff so it is more than good for what I need. As far as the Bronco not sure have to see it too. I'm in market now for new truck so cant wait ti try the gladiator out. I'll probably end up truck with some kings and nice off road tires
its an old platform, they its been around forver in Europe, not a fan of the eco boost though and won't even think about it until there is a different engine option
Gladiator is way to big, that 2 door that they have been showing pictures of is pretty cool but can't carry enough passengers. The Ford Bronco better come with a different engine than the baby eco boost, I don't trust that motor, it has been nothing but problems in everything they have put it in.
Its a big No on both the Gladiator and Bronco.. Ill leave the Toys for the Boys.. I recently bought a 5.7 Liter Tundra SR5 Crewmax with the TRD offroad package... Absolute Beast of a truck...
Jeep needs a V8 gas and a diesel period. The engines HAVE to be made in America and not by Fiat. Really, bloody Fiat. Old Mother Jeep is rolling over in her grave. Back in the day we would pull the old Jeep motors and put small block Chevy and Ford motors in. Do that now. The old saying goes “No replacement for Displacement!”

I thought about limb risers. I had them on my old Rubicon. So far these tires are still pulling strong lol
I don't think theres a big enough gap to put the limb risers between the hood and fender like on jeeps.

I like the gladiator. I've had 2 rubicons, so it would be weird not having factory lockers and stuff. But the base model 4x4 6spd is all I need.

The gladiator is pretty long for turning around on trails and would tented to get high centered easily. But, I'd drive the heck out of it.

Jeep gladiator suffers from horrible break over angel, I like the Tacoma more or the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison

Tundra's just gets horrible fuel mileage. But they are great trucks.
