At this point it doesn't matter if Palworld itself is actually successful in the long run, or if it even releases. Cat's out of the bag, the industry sees an under-tapped market now, if Pocket Pair doesn't get this game fixed and properly shipped then Xbox or Playstation will buy it outright and do it themselves, or one of the dozen trend follower AAA titles that recently got greenlit will pop up in a year or two with a uniform art style and fewer bugs at 3-4 times the cost with a season-pass and cosmetic shop.
if you have to change the scale of the models to show "similarities" then yes, you faked your evidence. To paraphrase what one artist said after seeing the model similarities at this transformed size "I'd testify in court that you can't get to this level of similar proportions without copying". It's disingenuous to act like this isn't a problem. Furthermore, it should have been stated in the original test and not stated days afterwards that this is what he did.
Also, those models might as well be two different peoples' interpretations of a cartoon lynx in the Tezuka art style. it's disturbing to see so many people who don't understand that this is a style that Game Freak did not create. they didn't even use it for the first Pocket Monster games. The anime reshaped the art design.
