I wasn't lucky enough to get one from greysheet, I have placed an order a MS69 white core first 50,000 release which is for my ASE collection, the ASE's needed the boost for other graded releases of the past to grow interest in that area also like my 2024 ASE First Strike released early 2024, and a good way to close out the year on the ASE with a small beta test sample of the star privy.
I, too, am sensitive to shameless marketing grabs, but I humbly disagree in this case. The US Mint is seeing a slowdown in collector participation for their products and I think it's really smart to attract attention with legitimate products like privy marks. Worse IMO is the release of 5+ different kinds of proof sets every year, etc. That's just a tax on the collector who is loyal to all the offerings. -John

Just gotten the link for the privy American eagle which of course I wanted. Wonder if the medals/rounds are made from silver?

I'm curious how did they navigate government bureaucracy to get to this point
Mark is one of the most highly regarding numismatists in the world, which opens a lot of important doors...
The new Privy silver eagles are a sad marketing joke that reflects the irrelevancy of the US Mint. Very Sad.
