As a Hindu the religion I respect the most is Sikhism. The teachings of Guru Nanak, the selfless sewas given by the sikh people is immeasurable. During covid they helped my family so much. When we weren't able to find to O2 it was a Sikh organization who provided us O2 in free of cost.
Thank you for the kind words, I feel lucky that I'm born in a Sikh family though I respect other religions too, Islam is my second fav.
I agree too the true sikh would never behave like those who took holy gurugrath sahib as shield ... That was not good. & i thing i think every temple in india should practice is the langar system in gurudwara... There are some temples who provides food as prasad or meal but not as large scale as gurudwara does & that too for free.

Being from a sikh family, i must say that some people have made this word 'khalistan' so negative. Our guru gave us word 'khalsa' which means purity,humanity, etc..and 'khalistan' basically means land of humanity..land of brotherhood..so whole world should be khalistan(where people have compassion and love for each other regardless of any caste or religion).

I was in Born in Nepal UP border and spent my childhood amongst hindu friends celebrating ganesh chaurthi, janamashtmi enjoying every moment. I equally was active in Gurudwara. I liked the voice of Azaan over speakers in this small border town. My parents moved to Punjab in 90s. We are part of our beautiful country India.
