Paul I can relate to this procedure because I have had several colon issues and colonosopies the last few years.,it certainly wasn't a fun time. But unfortunately necessary. I hope that all goes well with your tests and procedure.

Hi from the UK. I feel for you, colonoscopy prep I’d awful. We don’t do colonoscopies under GA here but sedation. I can remember parts of mine but not much. Wishing you all the best. 🇬🇧😀

Here they use sedation but your totally knocked out for it.
General anesthesia is obviously for anything else more intense

I am surprised the doctor did not tell Paul to mix the Miralax with an electrolyte drink. I hope he does not get dehydrated.

They do, but what he does he drinks Gatorade during the day. Just at night he preferes these drinks.

Good god man watching this made my tummy and butt hurt I used to take meralax with golden peak sweet iced tea, most of the time the staff who help me out didn’t wait Till it was fully desoved so it would taste sweet but gritty. Good luck with everything

Yeah the waiting make a HUGE difference and being cold also helps a lot.

I think you can take the spout out. But dang that’s a whole lot you have to drink and take for a colonoscopy. Wow!

Yeah it sucks, but this one is much more gentle then other preps out there.
Some are much much stronger but for someone like Paul with a sensitive stomach this is a great compromise

Isn’t there a pill that he could take? I heard that there‘s a pill that you can just take. My mom did that.

Hmmmm, we have been offered one that was a series of pills. About 8 and you still need to drink about 64 ounces of water with it because if not the colon still won't be cleaned out.
