Cindy I've been watching you since you threw your bullet journal in the freezer at the end of 2019. Just having you checking in and to see that you're OK is more than enough right now. Go easy on yourself, we'll keep ourselves occupied rewatching the chaos washi destash and all the other joyful things you've brought us ❤
Cindy, you need to take care of yourself and not worry about TH-cam. Your fans will wait for you until you feel like you can return. Your health is the most important thing . Wishing that all this craziness slows down and that you feel better. We'll wait for you 💖
WOW, Cindy, that is a lot. Lifting you, your hubby, the kids and all your family up in prayer (as well as all your medical team)!! Show up when and how you can - just like this video. I admire your vulnerability and thank you for sharing!
It's proof of my parasocial attachment to you that I genuinely teared up when you posted a little quip on your Instagram stories, because your channel had been so quiet for so long that I started to worry you might be too ill to ever return or that you might have passed away. I was worried about you like I would be for a friend. I'm so glad you've had some improvement with the iron infusions. You've been through so much, and your suffering and need to rest are super legit. I like all your content and will be happy to see anything you feel up to doing, but please take it super fucking easy. Health is first.
Felt 100% the same. I checked the channel and then went to IG, fearing the worst. Sending you and your family love, Cindy- hoping for your speedy recovery ❤️🩹!!
A couple of videos ago, you mentioned the Jessy was worried that you might not survive these surgeries. I'm just soooo grateful that you did. Thanks for the update. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.
I remember old videos when you talked about knowing kidney failure was in your future. I’m so glad you have a caring husband who is willing and able to support and provide care. Taking care of yourself is all that matters right now. Keep us updated and just do what you feel up to doing. I’m pulling for you! You look good.
I don't care at all that you're not responding to messages--and nobody here should either. You take care of you the very best you can, please. I'm glad to see you feeling better in this video. Much love.
I enjoy watching you draw with the pens you use in planners. Maybe without planning you can just do one page doodles (with themes like animals, buildings, words) for us to watch and zen out.
So happy to see you!! I'm so sorry all this stuff happened. You're in my thoughts and prayers. (You could put up a lost poster for the IUD and design it so it makes everyone laugh, last seen heading north, has no sense of direction. If seen please send it back to original location)
Glad to see you Cindy. I’ll watch anything you make, but if it’s too much to be creative, then videos sharing how you feel are very impactful and relatable even when people have different struggles in life. If you want to use this channel as a creative outlet, consider talking over videos of short drawings of yours - why did you choose to draw what, how did you pick the colors, maybe what kinds of drawings do well in your shop, etc. Wishing you better times ahead.
Oh my dude. Don’t be too hard on yourself. If you worked a “regular” job, you’d be COMPLETELY off work for probably at least a couple of months. Take the time you need. We’ll be here for you when you’re ready. I started subscribing to your channel originally for your lettering content, but now, I come just as much for your “life updates”. It feels like catching up with an old friend. (Although weirdly one sided? Lol.) So, as your weird one-sided friend, please take whatever time you need to take care of yourself. Much love. ❤
You’re really sick and most of your subscribers and patrons will understand that at the moment. If you can’t make stuff for us, that’s ok. If you feel the need to make stuff for us, now is the time for easy. I don’t know what’s easiest for you. For me, it would probably be reacting To TV show episodes or Book chapters. Maybe you just want to film some art making and do a voice over of sped up footage. Maybe you want to react to other people’s art videos. Maybe reviews are what’s easiest. Maybe react to art that you can see online, like from the library of Congress or whatever. Maybe just do some story time. Whatever’s easiest
I work for myself and went through cancer last fall- so I get how much this all sucks. Advice from getting to the other side of it: focus on your health. It's okay to not be "productive". Your job right now is to heal and rest. Work will be there when this is all settled. It may not feel like that's the case, but it will be. Just do what you can, rest, and when you're not in mid-crisis you can start working again.
Cindy, I've been watching you ever since 2020; just hearing about your story of how the past month has been was enough to bring me tears because it felt like it was coming from one of my best friends. You are such a strong woman, Cindy. Please take all the time you need to heal and take good care of yourself! We are all here for you and understand that you can't stick to your normal schedule while you're going through all of this. Wishing you all the best for your recovery. God bless. ♥
First. You look fabulous! You may not feel it, but you look it. Second, thank you for sharing your Adenomyosis diagnosis. I seem to be experiencing something very similar, and the waiting for tests and a diagnosis is frustrating. You are such an inspiration.
Woah boy that's a lot! So sorry you had to go through all that. Your strength is amazing (even when you don't feel it). I'll watch anything you do, so I don't care, as long as you have the energy to record anything. Positive energy heading your way.
I’m so glad to hear you’re starting to feel better but DAGGONE, that’s A LOT going on! You need to take care of you- you don’t owe us anything right now. Heal & come back at your pace, we’re not going anywhere 🙌❤️🙌
Cindy! Damn! Take your time. I can wait. We just want you to be well. Stupid IUD. I hope everything gets better for the family. As far as creativity, I am game to find out what you are reading. Favorite pens when you are exhausted. A David Attenborough or Steve Irwin style voice over of the animals doing their thing. What ever you want. Take all the time you need. Much love
You are an amazingly strong woman to take time to share here while adjusting to so many health challenges and unknowns. THANK YOU for sharing this past month’s challenges- rest as much as you can and do whatever small part of your creative work that will bring you joy and delight .
it is so good to see your face on camera again! I can only imagine how hard all of this is for you to be going through. i am just glad to see you feeling well enough to check in with us. (I do love someone's idea below about a lost & found drawing of the IUD, like in the style of the old Shitty Kidney stickers lol) But please absolutely do not feel like you have to make content to please us fans! We will stand by you no matter how long of a break you have to take if it means you are taking care of yourself
Take care of yourself first. You've been through a hella lot! Thanks for coming on to give us an update. Creativity wise, go with whatever seems the best for you & your ❤ at moment. Speaking for me, I just like to see you and hear you and laugh along with you, whatever creative thing you're showing us at that time.
Happy to see your face all up on my TH-cam feed. ❤❤ As for suggestions, what I’d like to see, anything you put out is fine with me! I’m more here for your vibe over the actual content. Maybe something vlog style where you can sort of film whenever you’re up to it? I just think your regulars know what’s up and lack of consistency in posting or longer breaks is totally understandable. 👍🏼👍🏼 best wishes on whatever you decide to do and hope your healing goes well!
I love your random chats and doodling videos! Take care of yourself, Cindy! We’ll be here when you’re ready to come back. Before surgery, they never said anything about your iron? That’s weird!
Prayers going up for you and your husband ,You are a very strong women …..I know your a nerves wreck ….show up when you can …slow and steady wins the race. Prayers and love hugs coming to you and family .🫶🏻❤️🥰🌻🙏
So glad you are starting to feel better and this past month sounds like a nightmare. I think slow and steady is the answer. Do what works for you, what you feel up to doing and people will understand. I like these videos personally.
I have been following you for a long time, although I dont see as many videos as I would like... I have seen update videos, and I am always happy you're surviving. Glad that Jessy had been there to help you, and walk with you through this. You need to take time to heal, and your subscribers should understand that. This is not a new development, but a journey youve been on for a long while. You and your family are in my thoughts, and I wish you a speedy recovery.
I just wanted to give a personal thank you for you being so transparent and vulnerable about your journey. I’ve been following you for years as well as a couple of my friends up in the New York region and we are just so honored to have you as a as a person on TH-cam that we can still watch and support, I know that this is your full-time job as I am also an entrepreneur and know what it’s like to have something that can stop you from doing thing that you enjoy doing or doing with no control over how that will show up from day-to-day. yes, we would like to hear from you even if it’s just a let us know how you’re doing. I’m not a big social media person. TH-cam is probably the one thing that I I frequent the most so I missed all the stuff that was going on because I don’t, watch things so thank you for giving us a recap of what’s been happening and let us know that you are managing. if this seems rambling, it’s because I don’t type. I only talk out loud know that there are other people out here who are supporting you and appreciate all the things that you’ve contributed to our community to the LGBTQIA plus community thank you for your support and we will continue to support you in anyway
I don't know about others, but I personally just enjoy hearing about your life and experiences because I enjoy your personality and care about you as a person. I enjoy hearing your opinions about the planner community and your planning system, but I also enjoy hearing about how situations in your life necessitate changes to that system and way of thinking. I think we planner people think similarly in that we like to have an organization to life, and I like hearing about how that changes under different circumstances and life events bc life isn't smooth and predictable. So in some ways, you just talking about your experience and opinions is interesting to me. I hope you do everything you need to do to care for yourself right now and find ways to do what still feels important to you, but also can find ways to scale back as needed. I think ALL of us support you in whatever you're needing. Also, I had a partial hysterectomy last November, so I can definitely relate to the utter exhaustion that comes with medical procedures. I imagine it's especially wearing when you're body is already struggling with kidney failure. Your resilience and outlook on all of the struggles you've been through has been so inspiring to me. I definitely thought about you during my surgery recovery, and it made me feel stronger bc you're always so strong even when you feel weak. You're an awesome person. I think that is what people enjoy about knowing you (even if it's just through the internet) ☺️💗.
You are so strong! Speak to your gyno about ablation - it changed my life & recommend all my female friends look into it if they’re having issues. Look after yourself and keep going on. I have fibromyalgia so I understand the issue with pain and fatigue.
So glad you posted this. I went poking around yesterday to see if you were ok because I hadn't seen a video in such a long time that I wad getting worried.
I'm glad to see your face again, was definitely concerned for you. I hope they figure out the IUD and bleeding issues :/ It's so frustrating to me because it genuinely sounds like your experiences are not being taken as seriously as they should be
My heart goes out to you. I had my female bleeding issue for 3weeks straight and I got a headache likes horse hooves running in my ears I literally bled to death and was admitted to hospital with a blood transfusion in the ER and was admitted for 3 more blood transfusions. The dr said I had uterine cancer I have had it twice and I am so grateful someone else can understand how much it takes out of you its like your body is one low charge for weeks
For all that you’re going through you look fantastic! For me I’ll watch your videos even if it’s just you chatting! Do whatever brings you joy and take care of yourself. And thank goodness you have such a caring/loving husband! 💙💛🪴
Oh I'm so happy to see your face, but woah...you have been through too much lately. I can understand the blood clots because there were days when I could barely leave the toilet because of losing so much blood. Mine was from fibroids and i had to have a hysterectomy. But with your dialysis, I'm just thankful you have such a great support team. I'm sending lots of love & good vibes & healing energy your way. As for content, you could just come on to say hi & let us know you're ok. Don't push yourself. You need to focus on YOU! Love ya!
I am so happy to hear from you! And I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time with your health. Please take care of yourself. We will wait for you. And if you want to create something, I love your story times. But please don't worry about schedules or anything. Just post when you feel like it.
So happy that you are better, I hade low iron for like three years and when I got an infusion the difference in energy levels was amazing. I felt so much better. Hopefully you will feel the difference soon ❤
That sucks for all that's went on but glad you're still alive. I worried the surgery went waaaay south until I saw you creeping on the gram. continue to take care of you, it's the priority. big hugs
Cindy, you are a crazy strong woman! Right now is the time for you to take that time you need to really heal. I know this place is your source of income, and your creative outlet & you really wanna get out of the funk, but your body is telling you that it needs “you” time. If that is a month, two months - so be it, we also want you to be safe, healthy, and take care of you (above everything else).❤ Man, I remember sitting in my car for lunch break watching your videos & being inspired… watching you try out bullet journaling for the first time. You were in your old apt in CA (before the Napa house), and I still wish I had your natural handwriting ability! Decades later and I’m still trying to figure out what planning style works for me 😂Mama, we love you & will be here whenever you do have the energy, but please don’t rush it. Big hugs & light being sent your way 💕
I always love your plan with me videos. Take all the time you need to get as healthy as possible. Love and light to you and all those who are there to support you.
Cindy it's wonderful to see you and I hope things start to get easier again. As for new content, whatever and whenever is easiest for you right now. You've made so much in the past, why don't we rediscover some of your older gems? If it's easy for you to do, a short post boosting an old pwm or thunderdome would go down a treat. Much love ❤
Hi Cindy. Glad for this update! I think in terms of going back to work… just think, if you had an office job or something, would you be on sick leave? Probably. (I’m Canadian so maybe people wouldn’t be in the states?!) but my point is that we all understand! You’re on sick leave. Come back when you can- we’re all fine over here. We miss you but we’re fine. All the best with the next steps of your treatments!
Girl - hang in there. Much love, heart and well wishes. Take all the time you need to get better and maybe give yourself some time away from IUD. We'll be here, quitely rooting for you.
Thanks for the update as I have been thinking about you and hoping the procedures went well. The added “other end” fun is not helping your healing but it sounds like things are heading in the right direction. Hopefully. Just take care of what needs done.
You started this video with what format to choose... I think with all you have going on, this format is great! You can only do what you can do, so just showing up is what counts. Yes, this is your job, but I started following you years ago on a chronic disease video, the planner stuff (for me is a bonus). And I've found that a lot of your followers are also chronic disease patients. So, don't feel bad for not posting planning videos... The chronic disease videos target the other part of your subscribers. 💖🌞🌵😷
So sorry you’ve been having so many health issues. I was concerned when the channel went silent. I will be here for any videos you may post, no matter the regularity/frequency! Best wishes for continued recovery. Sending good vibes for strength and hope.
As much as I have missed you, the #1 thing I want is for you to heal and feel better. You would take medical leave from an outside job for what you just went through. Be a kind boss to yourself. You have made me laugh and rant along and think. I wish I could do the same for you, especially now. The laugh part. Shit maybe a good rant! Just know I am always quietly over here rooting hard for you and your family. Sending so much love it might be questionable.❤
Oh Cindy, that is a lot to deal with. I am so sorry you have been going through so damn much. Sending you lone and healing. ❤ As for content, I will happily watch whatever you feel up to, and if you don't, I completely understand. You need to take care of you right now. ❤
You’ve been in my prayers. I am so happy to see your smiling face. Please follow the rules and regain your strength without crazies. We are here when/if you are ready. Lots of healing love.
My sister had that happen with an IUD--it perforated and gave her PID. So definitely, hoping you find out what happened with as little trauma as possible. Hugs and wishing you all the best.
I am so sorry that the surgery and all the other health issues compounded to make this recovery time suck for you. I hope the least bad option is the case with the IUD. Those scared the crap out of me when I was looking at options to help my period issues, before the cancer made my decision for me and I had to yeet the uterus. I am glad to hear from you and see that you're still going. In terms of TH-cam, whatever you feel like doing is what I will watch. I enjoy listening to you speak (your diction is amazing!), and you have such interesting stories. I like your candor and the vibes you have - I appreciate all the 80s and 90s references as someone who grew up then, too. Take care of yourself first. We'll be here when you post, and be glad to hear from you.
So great to see you. Glad you are doing better but sorry you have had so many problems. We would love to see you Sunday, and you could just talk to us like today and do just a little planning if you feel like it. Don’t try to do a lot. Just come online for a short time and get some mojo going. We love you!
So glad you are recovering! I am a worrier, and while I knew ahead of time you would be having hella going on this month, I still started to worry when you were gone for so long. I miss your videos a lot. (But don’t be posting for my sake, take care of yourself first. 😉) To answer your question as to what kind of videos: pwms, life updates, and Bujo doodles have always been my favorite.
Not much to add except sending love your way. These chatty updates are just as interesting as the plan with Mes, etc, and if they're easier on you then I'm all for it. Or don't post at all. Your community knows and cares about you first and foremost. What I want to know is this: how can we best support you right now?
Sending you and your family all the positive and healing vibes! As far as videos to help your creativity, obviously listen to your body. But a nice low key thing I do is paint by numbers. Zero brain work involved but it scratches yhe creative itch.
It’s good to see you and I can’t imagine going through the difficulties you’re going through. As far as videos, I enjoy the planning videos where it’s all ink. Then I get to see more lettering and drawings. But of course, whatever you decide to do, I’ll enjoy watching. Take care!
Whew! Sounds like what next month is scheduled to be for me (3x pain Clinic, 3x pt, and more). I want to thank you for sharing. I have CF but I've been feeling worse. Think I'll ask for blood work. ❤ Glad you feel better. I'd like videos on coping with chronic illness. How do you decide what to let go of? How do you find motivation and strength for the 'must dos.'
Cindy, watching your channel has changed my life, and honestly, I am still going to be here, we are all still going to be here for you when you can come back. Focus on taking care of yourself first ❤
Well I am glad to see you back at least. Sorry you’ve been through all that. You were missed As an aside, I’d recommend a tubal ligation. After 10 years of an IUD and pain with it, I had an outpatient procedure and was good to go!
Oh my goodness...that is a lot!! I applaud you for putting on makeup and just sitting and chatting! It is so good to see your face again! Take care of you first! As for what to post, you could read the phone book and I would be here for it!!! Big prayers!!
I guess there's some virtue in taking the crap all at once. As one who had mega fibroids and saturated towels, sometimes 5 days in a row, I feel your frustration with having this on top of everything else. It does indeed drain you. My solution, and it was only mine, was an endometrial ablation. That may not be at all suitable for you. But God, that is rough, to have that with your other surgeries and the usual stresses of being part of a family plus needing to work - holy cow. So glad to see you looking good. Continue taking such good care of yourself (and Jesse - as your support I hope he is taking care of himself too) and many blessings to your kids as well.

Same!
Me too!
Me too!
same
So nice to see your face again! You've been through it! Rest up and take the time you need. We'll be here when you're ready to come back. 🤗
Love to see videos of you playing and talking to your kitties. Whatever you decide just check in once and awhile so we know your ok.
Cindy, my heart is with you. Take care of you!
I'm glad to see your face again, was definitely concerned for you. I hope they figure out the IUD and bleeding issues :/ It's so frustrating to me because it genuinely sounds like your experiences are not being taken as seriously as they should be
I have been worried about you and have missed you very much. You are loved! Hope you feel better soon!
And I must add how do you track that in a planner because it's hard to just put generic period sticker when the devil is in the details
It's lovely to 'see you'. Please focus on strength and wellness, we'll be here if and when you can return. :)
Prayers for you and your family You are amazing
For all that you’re going through you look fantastic! For me I’ll watch your videos even if it’s just you chatting! Do whatever brings you joy and take care of yourself. And thank goodness you have such a caring/loving husband! 💙💛🪴
It’s so lovely to see your face! Hang in there! I’m sending all the good vibes and juju your way. Don’t rush. Heal. 😘
Love ya!
I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling. Sending you some positive vibes for recovery
I am so happy to hear from you! And I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time with your health. Please take care of yourself. We will wait for you. And if you want to create something, I love your story times. But please don't worry about schedules or anything. Just post when you feel like it.
Oh Cindy, take all the time you need to recover and get treatments. We will be here whenever you are ready. We support you. 💜
Cindy, don't worry about TH-cam... Focus on resting and healing!
🙏🏾Just praying for you and the family. Thanks for sharing. ❤
So happy that you are better, I hade low iron for like three years and when I got an infusion the difference in energy levels was amazing. I felt so much better. Hopefully you will feel the difference soon ❤
Cindey prayers you you and your family. Feel better soon take all the time you need to heal! We all love you!
That sucks for all that's went on but glad you're still alive. I worried the surgery went waaaay south until I saw you creeping on the gram. continue to take care of you, it's the priority. big hugs
I'm so sorry you're going through so much. Not gonna lie I was legit worried about you. Sending gentle hugs.
We all understand.
I was just worried about you when it was radio silence. I'm glad you are ok.
Take your time. Be gentle with yourself and heal. We’ll be here when you’re feeling it. ❤
I hope things get easier. I'm so glad you're feeling better. ❤
Sending you and the fam energy for healing and peace of mind.
Hemodialysis is hard and scary, I applaud you for being able to do it at home!
Thank you for the update. I hope you feel better soon.
Cindy, I am just glad to see you face on my feed. thinking of you.
As for content, I will happily watch whatever you feel up to, and if you don't, I completely understand. You need to take care of you right now. ❤
I'm so sorry that you've been so sick and glad you're feeling better. Crossing my fingers for good outcomes.
Sending you lots of healing energy and love Cindy
Thanks for being so open! Sending you strength!
I was worried about you! Thanks for the update.
Sending you and your family all the positive and healing vibes!
As far as videos to help your creativity, obviously listen to your body. But a nice low key thing I do is paint by numbers. Zero brain work involved but it scratches yhe creative itch.
So glad to see an update from you. Man, you’ve been through a lot! Big hugs and hope you feel better soon!
Just throwing buckets of love at you. 💚
The most important thing is your health -- take as much time as you need to feel good. We will be happy to see you whenever you feel like posting.
Cindy, watching your channel has changed my life, and honestly, I am still going to be here, we are all still going to be here for you when you can come back. Focus on taking care of yourself first ❤
Thank you for the update! I’ve been wondering how everything went! Glad to see your beautiful face!
Holy Moly! I am SO glad I YEETED my uterus before I need Dialysis. I am so sorry you had to go through all of that.
I would watch literally any video you upload!
Well I am glad to see you back at least. Sorry you’ve been through all that. You were missed
As an aside, I’d recommend a tubal ligation.
Take care of yourself Cindy. Most important thing ❤❤❤❤
Your in my prayers!!
