Fun fact, if you turn flight mode on, you can last for 3-5 days. But it's dangerous as once you turned it on, you might get a message that says that you're fired from your job.

Lol that feeling when you've done everything in this video, plus more, and your battery gives up at 2pm from moderate use. Time for a new battery I think
I get 2 days to 3ds, and most days I streaming Spotify, taking calls, texting, reading, checking the weather, updating apps and using Bluetooth to transfer content, etc. My last charge was 1D 14H and it is at 80%.

@@austin-xp6kb N20 Ultra but what I outlined will work on any phone. It has on every phone I've ever used.
@@austin-xp6kb Don't forget too turn on don't connect without a VPN and always on VPN, if you do have some sketchy apps this will cripple them until you want to engage them.

I've noticed that the more your phone gets to know your usage habits, the longer the battery lasts! I'm getting 3 or more hours a day after the first week of using my phone! It went from 7 to 8 hours to 11 or 12
Yep! The phone learns your habits. Within the battery area, it let's you know that as well when you look at it for the first time.
Just bought it a week ago. Still around 4 hours sot. I hope it increases

IF : time 8am-6pm THEN: TURN ON PROTECT BATTERY

Txh a lot man, it works for me on my s21 FE! even i was on 120hz, I have 60% left at 7pm, and I started using it this morning at 9.... (photos, video, surfing, socials ecc..)

You can use a Bixby routine to limit apps when you will be asleep also. I set mine from 11pm to 5am
At 5am the phone will go back to normal mode
What is the routine?
I've been getting 15 hours 30 minutes used 5 hours 30 minutes screen on time, and I still had 30-40% left My fold 3 battery life is insane. I factory reset my phone and and my battery life increased by 50%, I think smart switch was the problem. I lost a ton of files, images, and videos because my phone didn't back up even though I backed it up 3 times prior to the factory reset.
Im getting 10 hours screen on time on my 3 years old Galaxy A7 2018.
I have the Fold3 and the battery sucks so bad. I might do a factory reset to see if it gets better like yours, but I literally stopped using it and it's in a drawer right now, Im using a "backup" phone (POCO F2 Pro) until the S22 Ultra comes out. This POCO has excellent battery life.

The most power drain is the screen, you forget one of the most power saving option wich is DARK MODE ON
dark mode only save battery if your phone has a OLED display. it doesn't effect on phones with LED displays

@@Kixzuki Sure, but even most of the midrange Samsung phones have OLED Displays.
@@Standgedicht nah lots of budget devices have PLS LCD displays nowadays. Before 2020 they put OLED displays in some mid range devices but not anymore. Because PLS LCD is not as expensive as OLEDs and 1080p LCDs have the same colours as 1080p OLED display if we don't care about the backlight.Also PLS LCD saves lots of battery power compares to the OLED

How about the edge lighting? I thought you would give a tip on that. Does it reduce the battery?
Because the phone is still giving you the notification, turning off edge lighting will make a very minuscule difference in terms of saving power.
@@samzdaking especially since it's an amoled display, and edge lighting lights up a very small portion of the screen
I despise the edge stuff. I have accidently triggered it a million+ times while reading a book etc.

Tell something for Exynos variations...S20 Drains battery on 120hz ...While traveling it draining
for location and sync, if you set a bixby routine for location to only turn on when you open say maps for example and make auto sync turn on only when charging you won't even have to think about it anymore. that's my life hack

What's crazy s8+ battery are similar in size why can't it last the same or 30 min less. Is it because it's 2 separate batteries?
I had to use maximum power saving mode all the time on my old Samsung Galaxy Express prime 2 because the battery was always draining not matter what I did

I actually got a new Samsung S21 and it is draining fast because I do not have a battery charger for the S21 and this helps me well

Hi .i did all the battery saving tips.You had 76% battery left and you got 22hrs estimated battery life where as my phone has 95% battery and showing 15 hrs estimated battery life..Am i missing some tips here?

While watching the section on location services, I went into look at my apps. I noticed that I seem to have app icons twice. One of the 2 icons seems to have what looks like a little blue folder next to it. Fore example, I have my phone app icon in the allow section and I also right underneath it, have the same app icon but with that little blue folder looking thing. Does this make any sense to you and do you know why or how this is happening? Do you think that I can somehow delete these ones that have that blue symbol beside them and it will not mess with my phone?

You may have an issue with your phone. Especially with 30 min screen time. I recorded for almost 30 mins on this and went down 2%

Allow only when using the app and restricting background app data are ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL if you want to protect your battery, bandwidth, and privacy. It's actually recommended by most privacy experts to not even use social media on your phone at all, ESPECIALLY Facebook (meta) products and double especially tik-tok.
Degoogling your phone all together and especially disabling google now all together will save a ton of battery life. I can get 2 days or more on most phones.
Another pro tip is not using quick charging will extend battery life.
Another last last last resort is to use googles "Bed-time mode" which turns color off and does some other power savings stuff. You can set it up in androids battery manager to switch to various modes at various power levels. For Example: at 15% switch to power saver, at 10% turn on black and white mode, at 5% turn on extreme power saver

On my S20 Ultra 5G, 'they' won't let me change the permissions on Bixby. I have NEVER used it and don't have any plans on using it, around the 7:11 time stamp. Is there a work around to disable Bixby?

I had done all things that you have mentiond a while ago (my power saving mode is always on) on my S10 however a full charge will only last me about 2 30 mins of screen time and in battery settings it says a full charge will last about 9 hours is there anything else I can possibly do please help

Obviously 120 hz is going to use more battery. There is nothing to fix. More screen refreshes means more battery consumption. It's not difficult to understand.

I do not know why, but yesterday I watched this video, and had 1 day 5 hours at maximum percentagethen charged my phone. And now suddenly at 96 percent I got 21 hours remaining. Can anyone explain why? I mean... It couldn't drop so much in life from one charging right?
This has to be for recent Samsung phones cause my S10 has shit battery, I get below 10 hours of battery life on a full charge.
What is your average SOC (Screen on time)? My max. SOC that I get is around 6 hrs. only in the Note 20 Ultra (exynos variant) and my average SOC is around 4 hrs. only

I have an S9+ for 4 years and I used to play Fortnite while charging it and nowadays it goes from 15% to 12% in 20 sec then from 12% to 6% in 15 sec then the level drops from 6 to 0 and stays at 0 for maybe 15 sec then the phone dies. Is that normal 😕 🤔?
You have destroyed your battery congratulations but if tou have used it a lot you need to get a new battery fitted make sure they put a proper Samsung battery in it.🇬🇧👍

Always on display isn't draining much even on my note 8
turned off: Always on Display, app location services, syncing. a full charge: 11h 10m let's see what happens in the upcoming week!

I get 2-3 days with my 22 Ultra. But I also have a Zerolemon 10k battery case! If Samsung would quit putting all of the bloatware on these devices we wouldn't have this issue!
Really it's not bloatware. It's apps like Facebook that kill the phone. To be honest
The fingerprint not being always On doesn't really make that much of a difference in terms of battery life
Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning on location.
