Too agressive in 1st gear. Try that with every 2 litre diesel : rev to maximum 3000rpm, release the clutch but don't push the accelerator to the floor imediattely. Wait until the car stops "burning" the wheels and then push it to the floor but switch to 2nd at around 4000rpm. The 2nd will fall to ~ +2000rpm and there you have grip and torque :) sry for my english ...
my 2017 fr will limit to 3000rpm then drop the clutch but mine seems to rev much better mine will go over 5000 still pulling like a train but mine has 18" rims I think his gear changes were early tbh I'll see if I can drop a video on mine should smash 7 seconds.

Ye, but its a common rail TDI, they still got power at 4500 rpm left. You could of keep going till 5000 rpm in the 1st and 2nd gear. 8.4 sec is not bad, a chiptune (makes this car 190ps) will make it like 7.8 sec.

+Victor Torres Sabes lo que es un TDI??? No por subirlo mas va a andar más, la zona de par y de cv no está en la zona de corte de inyección. Estirarlo mas de 3800/4200 hace que el motor produzca menos cv y menos par que cambiando a la siguiente marcha
muy bueno pero primer aprende a conducir 8.4 claro que si gente como tu solo sabe hacer mala fama o hacer salir teamas que no toca porfavor s hasta mi seat leon fr del 2006 acelera de 0-100 en 6.4 s

why does that shaking happen in 1st gear? happens to me to, is it because pushing the gas too much or releasing the clutch at too high rpm?
eagle213 the second one, because there's no shaking if a fwd car spin the wheels when move, just too aggressive with clutch at starting
