HP Smart Tank not printing colour [fix]

If you are having problems with a smart tank printer only printing black & white, this could help. I tested this on Windows 10 and OSX Ventura and it worked on both.
It's straightforward to eliminate the colour tanks as the problem by doing a scan/copy. If that's fine & in colour, then it's a driver issue most likely.

I Also figured out that if I finished the HP app setup my 5100 smart tank started printing on color. I have A iMac OS Sonoma 14.5
