What a super diverse, compact little neighborhood! Great use of an odd-shaped piece of land. The CS1 zoning painter can be so blobby and imprecise. I like that the zoning painter in CS2 is more defined. Brooklyn & Queens is probably the best looking assets pack introduced into CS1. It's difficult for me to not overuse them.
Ooh, another comment for the algorithm lol. You can place the airport aprons under elevated roads and rail lines, so you can make a nice custom food truck plaza under the rail lines. If you hide some walking paths under the aprons, you can actually get sims to walk through the plaza.
Great vanilla build! Ive been loving still detailing in CS1! Park name ideas, play on Camden Town and the park squeezing into a small space: Crammed-In Town or Crammed-In County Fair!
Nice neihbourhood with a history. The clocktower might look a little more plausible, if it was placed closer to the railway station (or at another place close to the railway line, where a historic station might have been.). Also, it might be fun to concider adding some disconected railway tracks around the old industrial area, because such an area would likely have had a direct cargo connection, at the time, it was built. Well, I am not sure, weahter or not any of that is feasable, but is it my fault, that you inspired such ideas?
I know I keep repeating myself over this, but I’m still mind blown by the amount of patience you showed in that live stream with those horrendous quays 🙈😅😅 What another fantastic build and perfect addition to Fewnilla 🤩♥️ It really does show, what is possible in Vanilla and this is why I love this series sooo much ♥️
I love your imagination, I think that is why I love your videos, we share that imagination!. I LOVE this area. I think Candy World of Adventures for the amusement park.(take on Chessington World of Adventures) or INDUSTRIA ADVENTURE PARK
I have to admit, I wasn't certain where this disjointed build would end up, but somehow it all works. FC is still surprising us two years on. Here's to many more! Ty FC!
I love the huge oak😂. it's like the people who built that industrial plaza respected it too much, so they left that tree to grow old and eventually tower over the buildings, and now it's a historical place🏡
I think a Vanilla plus series would work better. Like still use mostly vanilla assets and techniques just use mods so speed up the prosses. For example using find it to place the asset instead of waiting for it to spawn.
It might be silly but as I watched you create the amusement park I kept thing of 'Candieland Amusement Park'. My thought being that the Few family built up the original industry area of 'Red Brick' over the decades the industries moved out and the family not wanting to lose their investment and hold on to the land, decided to build the clock tower and the Majesty to revitalize the area. Their daughter, Candie, told her parents they needed something for kids to do, since there was nothing there, but the old dried up creek (where the railroad would be built), and the father decided to build the amusement park and named it after his daughter. The park in combination with the hotel and the clock tower became the city’s tourist area and saved the family fortune. That was my thought, maybe it’ll help spur on some other brilliant ideas for the area.
Love to see some gentrification! 😍Pretty wild variation here that really makes for an interesting part of the city. There is actually an amusement park right across the street from the main train station in Copenhagen so I don't think the location is too unrealistic.
Work is canceled today 😀 New Fewnilla County video drops 😁 FewCandy uses my idea 🤩 The whack-a-mole game drives me bonkers sometimes lol. I’ll sit there staring at the property that I’m trying to zone, and the building won’t level up. But as soon as I get bored and start looking somewhere else, the building will level up to max level in a heartbeat, so I have to delete and start over again. Makes me feel like the game is literally trolling me lol. I think the train museum would fit in quite well in this area as well. I also really like the way you included the Brooklyns and Queens residential buildings. Reminds me of Gas Town in downtown Vancouver. Perhaps we’ll get a gentrified CC pack for CS2 one day, like, old industrial style buildings that have been converted to apartments and offices. I’d pay money to get my hands on assets like that.
thx for sharing Few! City is looking beautiful. Wouldn't mind hearing some thoughts between the 2 games since you are going back and forth between CS1 & CS2 so regularly.
Hi 👋 just want to thank you for these videos, I’m a newcomer to Cities Skylines so they are really helpful….also great fun to watch, love the creativity and imagination 👍☺️ regards, Steve 🙌
Now that most of the holidays are over I finally have time to start getting into Cities Skylines and admittedly, I haven't watched any videos yet. I was wondering if I should start with CS1 or just go straight to CS2? I'm curious what your opinion is and also what other's think if anyone else wants to chime in.
If you haven’t played either and your budget can stretch to cS1 plus a few of its DLCs I think that is the way to start over going to CS2 at the moment, there’s a lot more diversity in the first game with some of the DLCs over the second right now so you’d probably have more fun!
@@kittenorochi2223 Definitely Park Life, Industries, Mass Transit, and the university city content creator pack - other good ones are Plazas and Promenades, Green Cities, Campus and After Dark, but they all have benefits! You could skip Natural Disasters and Financial Districts and not miss anything though, and snowfall is only really good for trams, but if you like trams its totally worth it for that alone! The content creator packs are all really good too, Skyscrapers another must!
okay so I bought my game and a few dlcs to start off with and I'm watchin Fewnilla but I was wondering if you have a tutorial for CS1. I saw the tips and tricks for CS2. Do you have that for CS1 somewhere I can't find? If you don't have a tutorial do you have someone to recommend to watch for that? I'm assuming the game has a tutorial but I like to watch one or two others first so I know what is coming at me. @@fewcandy

Great shout!
Really like the cohesiveness of all the micro-district-ing there 😂 maybe some Korea assets in the commercial district would jazz it up a bit?
It’s great how all these micro districts can come together! The little custom squares/plazas fill the gaps well
Even when you do vanilla, you put on a detailing show. I really love how these downtown-adjacent areas are coming to live! so good to watch this.

Love Fewnilla County and gentrified industrial spice! The two together … what a field day!
really loved the amusement park at the end of a busy downtown! 💥💥 hoping for more fewnilla episodes!!
I love how this section of the downtown came out!
I think a Vanilla plus series would work better. Like still use mostly vanilla assets and techniques just use mods so speed up the prosses. For example using find it to place the asset instead of waiting for it to spawn.
Nice idea but I won’t be starting any new CS1 series now!
Happy Xmas few ,so glad your system didn’t die.
Me too! Happy Christmas!

Awesome build 👏. Would love to see a rural Village in solitude, please
The red-brick area has such a realistic art deco character.
It looks fantastic! 😊

actually love that clock tower so much
Park name: Candy's Fun Emporium
Thame park name: Candy Island.
Looks really good
Well done FewC! Have you thought about placing a plaza behind the hospital for convalescence and take care of your cold....😎👍
Love how you put this together!
Park name: Candy's Fun Peloza

Omg that twin chimmey stack building i always thinkmof it being battersea power sration as well. 😂
🙌 Glad I'm not the only one!
If only CS2 were capable of this detailing 😢
Few Fun Point
We need more cs1 content!
Ooo eeer misus!
