the mercenary pushing the hunter into basement has to be one of the funniest idv things i've seen 😂
59:52 the hunter positioned their camera this way because they have the persona “Hunter’s Instinct”, which increases the hunter’s movement speed by 2% for each survivor that’s not being chased (aka not in view). By having their camera looking at the ground, the game would not recognize that you’re chasing the survivor because that survivor isn’t in view, so the hunter would get the full 8% speed increase (for all four survivors not being chased)
Nightmare has an external trait that gives him 10% movement speed when he is not in pursuit so that’s 12% movement speed

Thanks for showing my Jojo match. I was really proud of that one. Also, I found the two photo clones near the end thanks to my jump card camera. The camera turns to the nearest survivor, mirror, or bot when jump card is used.

I have thankfully managed to rise up to Sabertooth now. Though, I’ll admit I’m not that great of a player most of the time. I tend to just rely on luck more than anything. I can get the occasional 4K if the stars align and my predictions work out in my favor. However, I’ll often end up getting cipher rushed or put kited by smart survivors.

I really like this series, not only we get to learn some tricks from both hunters and survivors' perspectives but we also get feedbacks from you as a commentator. Looking forward to part 2.
Peepers is actually a really good trait for axeboy! As a former B badge, I tend to bring peepers or blink with trump to switch to teleport late game. It's really helpful for soul hits :>
EDIT: Also another thing about the 5th match with axeboy, doc is actually realllyyy bad with tide. Like.. Really bad. She relies on distance to heal as well as healing while she kites so she can bodyblock without getting downed and also heal after a rescue. She is definitely a kneejerk type of character so it's not wise to get rid of the healing ability after rescue since it's,... her whole gimmick

1:22:00 (I’m a Luca main) the problem with what he did here was when you stun, you can’t interact with anything, can’t vault or drop pallets so it’s best to use it to gain distance to get to a window, or stun a hunter under the pallet. This Luca was WAYYYY too close to the window, so he couldn’t vault right away and when the effect ended and he vaulted the Wu had already recovered and terror shock 😭.

the funny thing is that in my experience i tend to go against survivors a tier above me as sabertooth. so i go against griffins instead of mammoths haha- but the mammoths i do go against are ALWAYS insanely good which is ironic.
i was curious if youd use how confidently i closed off graveyard for your guess - since i only did that bc of area selection (i.e. minimum tier hint) and knowing someone spawned there.
for finding perfumer at the end, i actually didnt see the cipher shake - i was just checking that way because dungeon was there.
Gardener's bubble blocks all damage im pretty sure. same as owl. i think polun snap might be an exception but im not entirely sure rn.

Probably someone wrote it before , but Joseph when releasing a card knows where the nearest survivor bc the camera angle moves towards the closest one. So it was not persona trait that allowed him to see but the card trick ❤
59:52 surprised you dont know since its one of the tips the game tells you when you get the how to play letter after unlocking. He gets a 8% speed boost when not in chase so by lowering the camera you stop a chase from registering and use the speed boost to catch up

5:30 "Does the shield block water damage?" Yes it does, not just that, Seer's owl can also block water damage and flywheel (persona trait) if timed right. It's also same for chip damage hunters (Sculpture and Guard 26), Evil Reptilian's jump smash, Axe boy's soul attack and etc.
10:58 Nope it's a pet, you can get more pets from the spyglass store, illusion hall or in Memory Spheres. The bottle of fireflies is the accessory one.
Ya flywheel blocking water damage is a huge detriment to characters like her same with flywheel blocking the wheel hoes exploding needles ability when he gets out of wheel form 💔

Yes a friend invite can pop up during a match if you hit “reserve” when they’re in a game but it would show as a little lantern on the side. The reason the invite popped up like that was because that was a replay they were watching, not an actual game they were playing.

stumbled across this video today and was VERY surprised to see myself in the first match (i’m not the submitter, i was the lucky guy) so surprised that i just went friendly in the match i was hunting in HAHA but since they didn’t leave their rank i can say they were likely either high elk or low mammoth!! not sure why the hunter wasn’t doing anything that match LOL

I think the Wu picked up FO just so he wouldnt self heal or get picked up by any team mates so he could apply more pressure onto the survivor team and because frederick was dead on chair he could make that choice
however the pop was unpredictable, chang wasnt in any cooldowns or animations and they popped while fo was on chair which could have went so south for them if not for the changs for mistakes.

59:50 The Nightmare positions his camera towards the floor to cancel the pursuit status even while he's still chasing the lawyer and activate Hunter's Instinct, it's a high-tier trick used a lot by DongX. IDV is silly like that and if the survivor you're chasing is not in your camera you get Hunter's Instinct. Honestly when I saw Nightmare do that I immediately was like oh, he must be Cyclops at minimum lol
Around 14:00 the reason why wu chang put FO in chair first is so he can get the chair timer going on him, Composer is dead on chair so if you put him first there's a chance that FO will self heal but it was unlucky timing since the last cipher popped

59:53 not sure if someone said it yet but the hunter was looking down to see the lawyers bloodtrail, you can see this red triangle pattern happening on the ground to see where the surv is going its a good tactic but not many low tiers know of it
I know of the bloodtrail, but I usually see it anyways with my camera pointed not straight at the ground. Is it easier to focus on when pointed straight down maybe?

when i played doc i wouldn't bring tide because my friend said its better to be ble to heal after the rescue instead of having to wait out tide
Some doctors dont carry tide because its a kiting build most likely. The tide prevents from healing after bodyblocking for someone off chair or just in general. Also if u did another video and wanted more entries where would we find out?
