Planting 101, Propagating Herbs from Cuttings (episode 06)

  • Most herbs can be easily propagated from cuttings. Herbs like basil, rosemary, sage, tarragon, mint, oregano and thyme are some of the more common herbs that I grow from cuttings. Make sure to pick a healthy stem and cut about 6-8 cm from the topmost part. Remove the lower leaves and cut the lower tip in a slanting way. In this video, Urban Gardening Mom demonstrates how to propagate herbs using cuttings.
