Nice job Alex. Starting that kid off right.
When I was 15 a local engine builder sold me my first car (3rd gen firebird) for $1500. He was asking more and lots of people wanted it but he let me have it. He also let me make payments which is when I got my first real job and actually paid for something. When I paid up to $1500 he delivered to my house with the title. Told me the money didn't mean anything, he was more excited to see a kid get into f bodies.
Idk if he knows how much that saved me from trouble in my younger years. I spent the next 10+ years putting all my money/time into that car, driving/breaking/fixing it. I was known for that car.
What you did means so much more than you'll ever know to that kid.

I just started watching your channel and you have to be one of the most genuine people ever. Seeing you give that car away to fuel someone else's dreams is so awsome. That's a day that father and son will not forget special memory!

Oh man, the car giveaways always make me feel so awkward watching, but that was definitely super kind and the right thing to do. You are definitely making more "car people" out there in the world in the next generation. You almost got me with some of those "not actually for sale"

I am the dad and when Alex has a subscriber meet we are planning on bringing it down. So everyone can check it out. He is recording all the progress on the car. So if you are interested his channel name is Mitch Meusling. I was totally blown away with what Alex did for my son. He is truly a great guy.

I have an '87 Camaro I bought when I was 15 (30 Years old now) and I would have really wanted to have the interior as this was not faded like mine. However, when I saw you give the car to the kid I felt happy it was going to a home that will get it back on the road & reminded me at that age.
Thanks for helping the kid get his first car, help him restore it & get it back on the road!
