Thanks Colin, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed my video. I hope my M&M Leech works as well for you as it has for me.

Tie this pattern for my most recent fishing trip; the results were spectacular, it was my best fishing day of all my life, I did not change the fly all day; In addition to the excellent number of trout, I broke my personal record in size; thanks Phil for sharing his experience and knowledge. From Colombia -South America.
Hi Carlos,
Many thanks for the positive feedback regarding my M&M Leech.
I am so pleased to hear that this fly performed so well for you.
Thanks, Phil
Thanks Phil! Going to add this to my box for a comp I have in B.C in June!
Thanks Phil for another great pattern and Merry Christmas!
Thanks Barney
That looks deadly Phil. Brilliant how you did the body. Can't wait to tie some up for spring. Merry Christmas!
Thanks. Hope they work well for you too. Merry Christmas to you as well.
I like it I think I will Tie a few. Thanks I am totally enjoying your posts
Thanks Michael, it has been a great pattern for me in my travels.
Cheers, Phil
Well Done Phil!
Thanks. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed my video.
Cheers Phil

Thanks Randy, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video.

We had some early open water in January here in Colorado. The M & M performed well as a dropper in 2 lakes. It outperformed the Crystal Bugger Jig on point in the afternoon. I let the flies sink and did a very slow retrieve. It is very durable and finally came apart after a dozen fish.
Thanks
Hi Frank, that's great to hear. I am pleased that my M & M Leech worked so well for you. I envy you being able to find some open water. There won't be any in my neck of the woods for at least two more months.
Cheers, Phil
Great pattern, I will have to add it to my stillwater arsenal
Thanks John. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Tie it in a few colours.
Cheers Phil
Great idea, will do.
Have a Merry Christmas, see you in Lynnwood in a couple months
I tie something nearly like this as a balanced leach. Works fabulously throughout Northwest lakes. .
Thanks William that’s great to hear. I use this style for other patterns too including scuds and mayfly nymphs. Are you using ostrich Herl too or something else?
Thanks Phil
Hi Phil, I just came from your "ice out" live stream and I had to watch your first post of the M&M Leech. Looks like you use wire to rib now instead of the C. Flash. Still an awesome pattern I'll be tying! Cheers
Hi Joe, I am glad you enjoyed the live stream and this video. You can use either material for the ribbing. The wire is arguably a bit more durable.
Cheers, Phil
I love your content! You mentioned downloading an app at the end of the video and said the link would be in the description but I’m not seeing one. What’s the name of the app?
Thanks for the kind words. I am pleased to hear that you are enjoying my content.
Myself and good friend Brian Chan did have a Stillwater Fly Fishing app. Unfortunately the app developer we partnered with decided to shut the app down. We were disappointed that this happened.
Thanks, Phil.
Phil thanks for the Video, would this pattern works at Pyramid lake during spring..
Hi Paul, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed my video.
There should be no reason this pattern wouldn't work on Pyramid.
Cheers, Phil
@@PhilRowleyFlyFishing I always enjoyed your Fly tying Video thanks
Nice pattern Phil. What size bead on a 12 or 14?
Hi Mike I would use a 3/32” bead.
Thanks Phil
Phil, great pattern. Have you tried fishing it in a river or stream?
Hi Jerry. Thanks for the kind words regarding my pattern. Have yet to try it moving water but I have no doubt it would work well.
Cheers, Phil
For stillwater rainbow trout, in terms of the level leader you recommend, what line (pound test, diameter, mono/flouro?) would you suggest?
If you were fishing 8ft deep water you could use a 10ft section of straight 8lb flourocarbon. If fish are less than 2 lbs, you could drop down to 6lb. I use 8lb, due to 28"-30" bows live in lakes I fish.
You certainly could. I always try to use the strongest Fluorocarbon I can get away with. I use 8lb 3X most often.
Cheers, Phil
