I like to charge seeds with energy, then plant them. The plant literally manifesting that intention as it grows. I’m very much into green witchcraft and have found this technique to be successful almost every time 💚🌱
I really like this idea. I do not have much of a green thumb but I am gonna be in a position where I have to be in the broom closet. So I wanted to find some magickal techniques that I could do that could keep my practice under wraps but still effective, like knot magick, kitchen magick, and green witchcraft.
Young witches sure are blessed to have videos like this to help them focus intention. When I was a kid, I was pretty much on my own, and had to practice on the sneak:)
Yeah sometimes my generation of witches focus and worry about things of no significance. Things like Light and Love witches vs Baneful witches. Our differences shouldn't be our weakness, it should be our common ground. But sometimes I feel like simple things get in the way of better things to focus our energies on.
I recently learned about a tradition from my own ancestry; Ukrainian tradition has a complex folkloric poppit/sachet/knot-magic practice called the Motanka doll. They are figures, made from cloth, bound and wound with thread - never sewn or cut (so as not to stab the doll). One can bind different elements within them to bring about boons for the recipient (wheat or rice to ward off starvation, or coins to bring prosperity, or thorns for protection, etc...). Tradition requires them to remain faceless, lest the doll become intelligent and work for herself, rather than the household. There are different styles, depending on different regions, and they can be unbelievably beautiful. I encourage anyone who's interested to look them up. Very inspiring!
Frequently, I like to incorporate music into my spell work. I’ve found that music helps, not only to amplify my work, but it helps in many other ways, such as remembering a chant or phrase, raising the vibrational energy of my ritual space, keeping my mind focused on the task at hand, and it even helps me “remote view”, if that happens to be needed in whatever work I’m doing. I also use music when charging ritual tools, stones, crystals, etc.
Magic is very connected to emotion, and for some people like you (an I) music stirs us an helps us focus. My Gram called people who cast in rhyme or song "singers". If one reads mythology you'll find many of the ancient "Wizards" use rhyme and song, so you are in good company 😉 Harmony
A little while ago, I wanted to categorize my music by intentions/energies. I thought it would be a cool idea. Personally it sounded like a win-win situation: 1) Once I find what I need my Spell for, I use the app i normally used and boom, everything is laid out instead of having to scroll for the perfect song, or remembering my intention, but not remembering the song name. 2) Sometimes, when im sad, mad, happy, glad, etc. I just want to hear music that makes me feel X5 more. So instead of looking through songs crying, I have a set list that I can play on repeat.
I started with crystal magic but then really got into candle magic. Last year, though, talking with a witch mentor, I realized that I had been suppressing my strong connection to the Air element (long story) and challenged to incorporate it into my practice. I was sad to pull back from candles but then I realized that depending on how I snuff them out, there’s smoke that rises! So now, in my candle rituals, I use not just the flame or energy that I charge the candle with, but the last elemental energy is the smoke that swirls up when I snuff the candle out. I have found it to be very powerful to add Air in this way.
i love to use spell jars to manifest things! they’re instantaneous for me if i set the intent that they are. i enjoy making something physically when casting, it makes me feel like i’m taking action towards something. i meditate with them to strengthen their energy regularly
I adore knot magic, but I use it differently, so thank you for this explanation! I use it like a magnet, mostly I braid my hair and put in energy of what I'd like to attract.
Maybe I’ve commented this before, but I’ve always been drawn to candle magic, mainly because that’s how I was introduced to the craft as a teenager with the “Blue is for Nightmares” series. I like focusing on the flame and feeling the warmth and the physical energy that the flame represents. It also helps keep me grounded in a meditative state, especially if I do it in a dark bathroom. Since I’m a Pisces and am accordingly drawn to water, I like to combine lighting a candle with a meditative shower to help ground and manifest energy.
Simmer pots. They are like bowls but with all elements working together. Water, fire, earth and you the scent released in the air. Personally I find them to be powerful but really harmonious ways of doing magic. Would not recommend any baneful magic as they work with the air around you which is not safe when doing something nasty. But curse breaking 🤌 something about it especially if you breathe it. Can also drink it for more targeted affects.
Great and informative video! :) I have started my journey with candle magick and still use it, but as I am living in house that is like 50 % of wood I have naturaly shifted to other techniques. Turns out I love poppets and sachets the most. I can keep them close (I have one under my pillow right now). And when I was traveling to visit my friend and celebrate Beltain (that is how it is spelled in my language) I have prepared a few sachets...charged them, put them in my weekend bag without worry of making mess or taking too much space and burned them in celebration fire. Spell jars - yes. For my home blessing and protection. And if you are in Witch´s closet and want to protect yourself or your home, I highly recommend getting Aloe Vera plant (good for protection, hard to kill ;) ), write a petition about how any harmful things/curses etc are going to transform into energy that feeds the plant. And bury it in the pot. Mine is thriving! :D
hey hey, yeah chaos magician here and I use a lot of techniques in my practice but mostly the knot and sigils I also use weave magic which is like knot magic just in the form of weaving. I also learn so much from you I am glad I found your channel when I did!
Thank you! Your videos are always so informative. While these techniques are not new to me, I do get stuck using the same ones over and over. I actually forgot about knot magic!
I like using incense in magic! I keep a stash on my desk of varying one, my go to's are cinnamon, dragon's blood and lavender. I tend to hold them and charge them/awaken them with intention. E.g. with cinnamon, I tend to use affirmation whilst holding it in my hand and ask that it provide me with abundance within my studies! But, that's just one example of usage, it's nice aswell as it works with the air element and I associate that with a "sharp mind" so, anything linked to me requiring a sharp mind, plus the herbal element in them giving them an extra punch! :D ~
Yeah, techniques are ore main stream and common. There are some spells that are not so known, then baby witches can get confused because the resources are not based off of research but off of what someone watches on tiktok or facebook.
i lost my precious yorkie terrier jodie, i made a poppet of her with fur clippings to stuff inside, for her to connect to ..if she wants to connect to me, i miss her soo much.
Im sorry for your loss. I wanted to say that there is a way to use the animal's poppet like an energy satellite. Unless your pet has "moved on" it could be used like a beacon to signal your animal. Just a personal idea. You could ask your spiritual team if your pet is in the veil. If so, use the beacon and ask your pet to connect in ways it can. It may be touch, or sounds etc.
I like to layer astrological timing. Usually with Jason Miller’s e-book planetary Magic. You can utilize the astrological day and hour for certain outcomes and I use the spells to charge candles, bags, etc. bc I’m not very talented at writing spells myself. Also I like to do an offering for spirits in align with my work to help bring extra energy to whatever I’m working on. Magical baths and foot baths are great as well!
Hearth, thank you so much for posting such informative videos, i like using candle magic todo, there's something about watching them melting and gazing into the magical fire that soothes my soul, i also like working with sigils, spellcasting, crystals and herbs. Blessings 🔥
I like to enter a deep meditation and focus on a certain energetic state, then numbers appear to me and I write those numbers on my wrist when I need that energy
I've often used candle & sachet methods in the past but am currently researching yarncrafts such as crochet and macrame. After watching your video, I think I'll start seeing about knotwork and how I might use it as inspiration for my own workings.
As usual, a very helpful video! I learned to spell bottles initially, and poppets as well, now I’m trying out candle magick and am loving it (despite the fact that being a water sign using fire magick feels a little unintuitive at times, I’m learning!). Knot magick sounds awesome and when I finally get my alter set up, I want to have a bowl out all the time. I like to mix it up when it comes to spell work.
You explained this very perfectly ❤❤❤❤. I use my aura for personal use (invocation of empowerment of my aura and saying my intention). On others, I evoke magic from the environment so it won’t connect to my energies. This is how black magic goes wrong. People invoke instead of evoking. The spell has to be spoken in present tense, and be very specific because energy works how it wants unless you are detailed to the T. I was taught the old ways date back 400 years ago. Shadow work and knowing every part of self will connect witches even on higher levels of spirituality.

I solely use candle magic as I'm an Astrological fire element, (Leo). Example, just this morning first thing after feeding the cats I lit my 2 Hecate alter candles with no intention but to honor Hecate and an hour later I get communication from a dearest friend from England, as I'm in America. Coincidence....not hardly.🌠
me personally i tend to have different technques depending on what im working on. i find that earth based materials (herbs and crystals and soil) and using any container for that is a really potent way to manifest something that you want but i rarely have the result when using candle magick. however, candle magick for me is really good at banishing (banishing bad habits or cutting people off) anything to do with cutting ties. i used poppets for baneful magick and glamour magick (especially with confidence bc i struggle with that before). for protection magick, three techniques mentioned above r good to used hehe those r just the things that i've noticed so far in my practice

My daughter lives in another state. She would like me to do a anti anxiety spell bag. New to the craft. Most spells I say "I Am" etc. What do you use when it's for someone else?
@@waywardh9528 thank you! I have asked others, in different groups. No answer! Starting for well not so smart. I thought it was a legit question. So thank you for replying 💜💫
Or just use her name instead...much powerfull and focused, when using spells be as much specific as you can. If you are able to visualize with your third eye(your mind basically) do it, in this case maybe you can visualize her in an anxious situation for her (visualize her calm for example) to focus your intention...hope my english is understandable not my first language
Question: As far as knot magick, what if you want the knot to purposely hold the energy that you put into it? Like if I want to use knot magick to crochet/knit a scarf or a sweater, could I spell most of the knots and then whoever wears whatever it is I made, will "absorb" its properties. I think I will use knot magick in other ways but I want to make a grounding/protective scarf/sweater/blanket
Could you elaborate about knot magick where knots are neither released nor disposed of to trap something? Like if you knit/sew/crochet/... something to wear/display more like a spell bag? Thanks for this interesting video!
3:13 I recently made a talisman (or what I thought was a talisman) with a quartz crystal wrapped in herbs from my garden sprinkled with incense ashes and cinnamon, then I wrapped a piece of my herbology journal with sigils drawn on it around it all, wound a string of thread around the top and tied it shut with 3 knots, i then burnt the edges and dripped it with candle wax from my altar. I set it with the intention of radiating healing and refreshing energy to those around me for school, but now I'm questioning if it's more of a spell bag or a charm? Is there anything that could clear that up?
So very interesting thank you. Is there a whole house and garden invisibility spell so noise can be not noticed. Like if people live near a railway they get so used to it you don’t hear it anymore.
I like your video's is I was looking for some type of textbook. You tell a lot without saying to much, explaining what something is but not examples or showing what you mean. Perhaps if you actually showed how to use the items and how to make one.
Speaking of sigil magick, can a picture be used with sigils either in the four cardinal directions or in the pentagram shape? & can battery operated candles be used instead of actual candles(especailly if you live with a religious bigot)?
Hey, Hearth! Can you make a video about witchcraft and pets? My dog is a very active girl and I don’t know if whenever I cast a circle her presence disturbes the circle or if her presence will alter the spell casting results… I live in a very small apartment and don’t know what to do or if she is gonna change the effects of my work. I can’t lock her down bc she will never stop barking. :(
I could not believe that witches actually exist , but somehow I feel like I'm talented and feel something. Can someone please explain to me about the way magick works and what exactly is it? I'm still so confused:(
I'm a new witch. I was wondering when it comes to verbal charms is there a number of times you're supposed to say it or can you say it as many times as you want? Also are verbal charms just another word for incantations? When i looked it up on google it came up as incantation as well. Thank you.
I like to charge seeds with energy, then plant them. The plant literally manifesting that intention as it grows. I’m very much into green witchcraft and have found this technique to be successful almost every time 💚🌱

Wow I should try this
Imagine foresting companies doing this by replanting cut down trees 🌲

Is Ukrainian Magic similar to Russian ?
I've actually heard of these dolls from a friend. It's an interesting tradition.
I just love you channel. I've been pagan for 44 years and even now I learn new things from you. Keep up the amazing work 😊

Knotz should be utilized to pay painful attention in during witchcraft spells
A wonderful Video! Thank you, Hearth! 🌛🌕🌜
I was just having doubts ab this yday omgggg ur magical thank u
Could you elaborate about knot magick where knots are neither released nor disposed of to trap something? Like if you knit/sew/crochet/... something to wear/display more like a spell bag?
Thanks for this interesting video!
i like you videos alot. thanks for sharing the knowledge. very lovley and easy to follow
Selling the wind to sailors- poetry
Could you do a video about spell bags. I really like working with this’ll else but I’m new to it
super informative, cant wait to get started!

I like to crochet my poppets 🧶
Great informative video. Thank you. 😊❤😮
Great vid!
What does Bain magic mean?
I could not believe that witches actually exist , but somehow I feel like I'm talented and feel something. Can someone please explain to me about the way magick works and what exactly is it? I'm still so confused:(
Did you ever notice that things kind of work out the same, regardless of doing a spell or not?
Technically, you don't need fancy stuff to make a spell. You could do one with just your mind.
Very very helpful thank you xxb🙏☘️🧙🏻
I like this video i use my voice candles sydualles. This video is very helpful and informative
I'm a new witch. I was wondering when it comes to verbal charms is there a number of times you're supposed to say it or can you say it as many times as you want? Also are verbal charms just another word for incantations? When i looked it up on google it came up as incantation as well. Thank you.
Love your stuff
