Black and all angular and faceted! In fact, I'm surprised Lego doesn't have an F-117 kit already.... Now that they have this canopy they won't even have to fab any/many new parts.
This is an amazing set, the detail, the figs the accuracy and structure, the interior, everything. I love how monolithic it is and the shaping is great.
Found a stash of this krennic shuttle at a local toyrus selling for 60$. Shocked to still able to find the older rogue one sets. Took all of them home. Building Death squadron fleet!’

I'm watching this review on the morning of Force Friday, boy is it tempting to purchase this product right now. Its one of those sets that just makes me drool over it's fantastic design, not just because it's the flagship model of the them but the fact they nailed the design so much that it feels like a Ultimate Collectors Series set.
Picked it up for $50 at local toys r us since all the legos flew one day before when the 50% sale started which sucked because I would've preferred to get something like the U-wing, this and the first order atst were the last sets from the one theme I really cared about, one being the last real "big" Lego set there. Don't really regret it because someone else would've bought it if I left it, really enjoy this set and great figure selection and even greater deal
This is an incredible ship. I really like the whole angular design, everywhere...even tampering in the side profile. We get quite a lot for £80 considering the ship is huge and figure count

Personally I think these sets looks so much better then the force awakens sets. I liked them, but they seemed to be something new, I'm all for new but these are like a good mix of the original trilogy and a bit of new and I love it.

Well, stud wise it may appear as 4-5-6, but the bricks pivot at the center of the stud. Pivot at the center; aka halfway through the stud, you need to subtract the outer parts; half from one end, half from the other, the result being a single stud that you need to leave out. (4-1) (5-1) 6-1) = (3) (4) (5). Which means, if you instead use hinge pieces (the kind commonly used on buildings) to connect bricks, you would indeed need to use 3, 4, 5 stud wide bricks, since the pivot point is now at the very edge of the bricks and not at the center of the outer studs.
I didn't think Director Krennic's hair was quite right - the colour is wrong. Ben Mendelsohn has dark grey hair and I thought this mini figure would reflect that.
Stephen Ogley his hair actually a grey blond, and if they did bluish grey, it might of made him look too old. Anyway, that hairpiece is available in grey if you wanted to switch it out.
I'd love a dropship kind of set that had features like this to open up. The clone wars gunship was pretty good, but I'm thinking fold out features like we saw in the ultra agents truck and this set.
There's actually 4 extra seats in the interior not 2. There's 2 seats in the back with tan armrests that don't look a whole lot like seats but the back of the box shows a figure sitting in it so you can definitely say that there are actually 5 total interior seats. Great video overall!
that's what I was thinking too. imo the interior seems a bit unfinished and it looks like you could fit at least two extras in there. I look forward to modifying this awesome set when I get it.

I have just built this and the box art has something different than the instructions, the tail fin support is to high in the instructions as the box or instruction art has it lower where it flow's into the body much smoother. So are you instructions over box art guy or is both ways o.k.? Love to hear your thoughts. Andy

The Lego version of krennic's command shuttle looks cool. I have seen rogue one a starwars story, and I had to admit that the Lego version looks awesome and so similar to the movie version. It is a very nice looking Lego and I do see myself displaying it. Two reasons why I would do so. 1. It is an impressive Lego 2. Not only that, the Minifigures are an awesome touch. So yeah that's why. Those two reasons and the fact that if anyone wants to start a Lego collection, I'd go ahead and do it. Credit goes to jangbricks for his work and i love the videos
Jang, two questions. One, could you do a quick video on that nice clear stand you built? I can't tell if it's Lego or something else. I ordered the kit but would like to display it in my office with the wings deployed. A slightly shorter version would be good for displaying Poe's X-Wing, also. Two, are you aware of any Makers who've used these kits and added fiber optics and LEDs to light up the instrument panels, weapons, and navigation lights? I'm thinking I could build a circuit that fits behind the rear ramp in the "storage" area, then use a Lithium 18650 battery to power it. Seems like some extremely minor Dremel work would allow one to run fiber optic glass out the wings, for example. You'd just plug it into a USB cable to charge the battery and a black on/off switch (or a light sensitive resistor to just turn it on automatically in the dark) would be subtle enough to avoid ruining the effect of the model.
The thing looks huge but the interior is smaller than I expected. I wonder what it looks like side by side with lambda class or upsilon class. Can't wait to get the death troopers!

well you get very saught after Figs, all with capes, ones with printed capes. and an iconic craft. I think if they had to compromise something, it was the interior
I love the set. Its biggest strength is also a bit of a problem--its size. It's hard to display without a makeshift stand, and just playing with it requires two hands. But it's just such a great design and build that it's not really too big of a problem (ahem). I don't care for the grey bricks in the top fin, nor the standard red and blue pins.
i have been collecting lego for 13 years now and this is the first set ever where i LOVE all the minifigs in the set

I don't think it's curvy enough. The B-2 is all splines. As other posters have observed it'd be almost perfect for an F-117 stealth fighter.

I think LEGO made a single faced Krennic so we could put an imperial cap on him without the second face constructing like seen in the movie.

hey Jang, did you notice that the belt buckles on the death Troopers are similar to the belt buckle on Darth Vader both in Lego and in universe?

The left and right wings are supposed to be twice as long as the middle wing but other than that, it’s a very good set
It looks like you can fit a figure behind the stairs on either side of Krennic's seat. Can you confirm this?

Lego should know that its a shuttle...Krennic doesnt pilot it himself, he just sits inside and a pilot pilots it xD

They should of at least added a handle.
