A Day In Life of a Berkeley EECS Student

▹ This is my first time making these vlog-style videos. I feel that the timing is still a bit awkward...
▹ But there is indeed too much stuff that I want to put into the video!
▹ I picked the busiest Wednesday. However, that day was too filled that I could not finish filming. So in the latter half of the video, some footage was filmed later on.

man i just love this video so much! last year i was preparing for entrance exams. i watched your video every time i felt down and unmotivated and made me believe that anything is achievable if you really want it and you try hard to get it. few months ago i got accepted in a really good university in my country as a EE student! and yesterday i got accepted into the robotics team! you were my inspiration this whole time.. thank you!

Oops, a bit late... The most valuable tips I got from a senior student is don't try to compete with each other. Berkeley has all kind of talented students, and they say "whatever you think you are good at, there are ppl better than you in that field". So just proceed with your own pace!

I’m currently choosing between ucla cs and Berkeley eecs but I’m kind of worried about Berkeley’s housing and homeless problem. Do you think those problems are any worries?

I'm not familiar with the situation at UCLA, but I heard that it's roughly the same in both schools...
As engineering students, at Berkeley we will mostly be around the north-east corner, and the messy areas are at the south side and west side.
I lived at the Foothill dorm in 1 st year, and then moved to Emeryville afterwards, so haven't quite ran into these issues.

Some of the courses are cutting class size. But I think after the strike the situation is alleviated a bit
