The race you are referring to was because the owner fitted huge 24 aftermarket wheels to the Urus. With the stock 22 inch wheels the Urus is quicker than the BMW. The Urus is not sold with 24 inch wheels.
@@almac9203 looking at how much power the urus have over the BMW, that says a lot about the amount of engineering behind the Bimmer. It's properly quick cos the Urus is not miles away ahead of the BMW. The Bimmer is next to it all the way. It shows here in this comparison.
CarWow showed that the new M5 Competition is just barely slightly faster than the new E63S. If it was the regular M5 the E63S would inch forward... The E63S (and the station wagon) is awfully fast car.
The new E63s won the last drag race on carwow but it was really really wet so I don’t really count it. But forget the E63s the new GT73e with over 800hp is what I wanna see in a drag race.
Having a Lamborghini key in your pocket is not like having a BMW key. Made in Italy = only pure Emotion But for price, quality and performance, the BMW is certainly an excellent purchase, and that's why I have one in the garage😄
The urus holds its value at the moment tremendously well because it is very usable with a lambo badge and audi cant use the same tune for the rsq8 because its value proposition would plummet. Also I havent experienced them, but the interior of the bmw and Mercedes look much more luxurious
It's unbelievable to me that a channel like Carwow has over 4 times the amount of subs this channel has. This quality is sooo much better. Have you ever seen the 'in car's scenes on Carwow? It looks just like it's recorded with a 2010 mid-range smartphone, while this is absolute movie set quality videos every single video. Keep it up 🔥🔥

So for half the price, you get a better interior and better performance. X5M won in carwow. I think Matt aced the BMW launches which aren't the best - since traction has to be turned OFF..hence why it struggled for traction and just lost. Would love to see a race without traction loss tho
The BMW is slower. It won the carwow race because the Urus had aftermarket mods that slowed it down. It had 24inch wheels instead of the stock 22 inch wheels and a body kit. The bigger aftermarket wheels affected the acceleration of the Urus. The Urus has beaten the BMW in most races except when Yanni brought his car with the oversized wheels.
@@almac9203 Well, the X6M doesn't have traction control in launch mode so it affects the drag time. Also it was in wet conditions making it worse. The urus is 200KG lighter bit Yanni also had carbon body kit which makes his urus even lighter. So the 24inch wheels aren't an excuse. Here the Urus barely won yet the X6M had traction issues but still neck and neck

That is the way the BMW is stock. The Urus wasn't stock in the carwow test hence it is the only time a BMW has won. The car is not designed with 24 inch wheels and everyone knows the bigger wheels affects acceleration. 24 inch wheels is significantly issue because the car is not designed for such big wheels. Complaining about the Urus being lighter is nonsense because it is lighter from the showroom. That is how it is. 24 inch wheels are not stock so it was a nonsense result.

Thanks! The BMW X6M also leases very well compared to the GLE63s Coupe. However, here are everyday issues with X6M: ride comfort, rear seat space and comfort, exhaust note, interior fit and finish and cabin noise. Also the Mercedes GLE coupe looks way better. Getting my GLE63s coupe in designo diamond white in few weeks. Expensive but more practical for a daily. Also the cheapest new gen AMG V8 TT you can buy now.
I get serious Top Gear vibes from these Throttle House videos. I mean it as the highest form of compliment. In a sad world where Clarkson, Hammond and May no longer review cars, this show gives me hope. So when will Throttle House start making specials? The Perfect (Canadian) Road Trip?

You can just hold the downshift paddle on the Mercedes while it’s auto and it will drop into the lowest available gear for a bit for you while still up shifting automatically
7:40 I totally agree, I wish companies would put a budget towards making just a really nice suv that does what it's supposed to as an suv, has a nice interior with all teh same creature comforts, but rides and moves like an suv minus the body roll, like a range rover sport but with better reliability, likewise with the big sedans(s class, 7 series, etc.) and put all of the performance RnD into 2 door sports cars and smaller 4 door sedans. BMW has been making 500+hp suvs and a 7 series with more horsepower than a huracan but the z4 hasn't had an M version in over 15 years and 2 generations, they totally missed the chance to make the i8 into a full on sports car by putting the twin turbo inline 6 into it and making it the new M1 or dropping the tt v8(unrealistic but still) into it and having a huracan/488 competitor. The x5 and x6 drive like they want to be sports cars so bad but miss the mark every time because of inherent properties of an suv like higher center of gravity, longer wheelbases, and more weight.
Any day X5M & X6M over any performance SUV u can't forget 4.4L V8 which will murder urus on simple tune where as Urus is already tuned 4LV8 from RSQ8 Considering the price gap X6M for the win 🏆 And bmw already announced X8M 🤞🔥 It will be there answer to Urus and dodge
Yes their performance is really good but as they said daily driving an x6m competition is a pain in the ass. Idc about being the fastest. I'd take the gle63s suv cuz of the looks and tech. Normal suv over coupe any day. same with bmw. X5 looks way better than the x6
Bro anything can be tuned to be faster than any car. Even a 2 min tune on the rs6 will make it output over 800hp easy and is arguably the better daily driver than all the SUV’s mentioned.

For comfort and space don't go for M or AMG or any outright sports cars there is M50d Gle 580 or even 50i or 400 do justice That being said x6m and x5m are most comfortable by performance standards it offers if we compare with other in the segment.

Start of the first race, and the first thing I realize is the Mercedes looks extremely comfortable in that race. It looked like it was floating and bouncing off the bumps on the pavement. ( I saw it from the first cut onto the roof of the Urus just for reference)
I think because x6m it’s not as fast as the lamborghini not as comfortable as the Mercedes, poor rear headroom because it’s a coupe and the interior doesn’t look as good as the Mercedes therefore is useless IMO
I just want to say out of all of these Mercedes is the best compromise, it actually would make sense to buy one, the back of the Mercedes isn’t like crunching into a sedan like the other two, it still is crazy quick. And it’s really nice
That lap was definitely rigged, Audi rsq8 is slower than all of these SUVs I doubt it would be any better on track, the Nurburgring lap record was faked for sure

Thanks! The BMW X6M also leases very well compared to the GLE63s Coupe. However, here are everyday issues with X6M: ride comfort, rear seat space and comfort, exhaust note, interior fit and finish and cabin noise. Also the Mercedes GLE coupe looks way better. Getting my GLE63s coupe in designo diamond white in few weeks. Expensive but more practical for a daily. Also the cheapest new gen AMG V8 TT you can buy now.

You can just hold the downshift paddle on the Mercedes while it’s auto and it will drop into the lowest available gear for a bit for you while still up shifting automatically

7:40 I totally agree, I wish companies would put a budget towards making just a really nice suv that does what it's supposed to as an suv, has a nice interior with all teh same creature comforts, but rides and moves like an suv minus the body roll, like a range rover sport but with better reliability, likewise with the big sedans(s class, 7 series, etc.) and put all of the performance RnD into 2 door sports cars and smaller 4 door sedans. BMW has been making 500+hp suvs and a 7 series with more horsepower than a huracan but the z4 hasn't had an M version in over 15 years and 2 generations, they totally missed the chance to make the i8 into a full on sports car by putting the twin turbo inline 6 into it and making it the new M1 or dropping the tt v8(unrealistic but still) into it and having a huracan/488 competitor. The x5 and x6 drive like they want to be sports cars so bad but miss the mark every time because of inherent properties of an suv like higher center of gravity, longer wheelbases, and more weight.
Any day X5M & X6M over any performance SUV u can't forget 4.4L V8 which will murder urus on simple tune where as Urus is already tuned 4LV8 from RSQ8
Considering the price gap X6M for the win 🏆

Yes their performance is really good but as they said daily driving an x6m competition is a pain in the ass. Idc about being the fastest. I'd take the gle63s suv cuz of the looks and tech. Normal suv over coupe any day. same with bmw. X5 looks way better than the x6
Bro anything can be tuned to be faster than any car. Even a 2 min tune on the rs6 will make it output over 800hp easy and is arguably the better daily driver than all the SUV’s mentioned.

For comfort and space don't go for M or AMG or any outright sports cars there is M50d Gle 580 or even 50i or 400 do justice
That being said x6m and x5m are most comfortable by performance standards it offers if we compare with other in the segment.

Just look at M5 with same engine dethrone audi rs6 and rs7. So my point is Urus is barely faster than X6M and its disappointment for the price it offers at same time you can get x6m with less money even if you tune it.

Start of the first race, and the first thing I realize is the Mercedes looks extremely comfortable in that race. It looked like it was floating and bouncing off the bumps on the pavement. ( I saw it from the first cut onto the roof of the Urus just for reference)

I think because x6m it’s not as fast as the lamborghini not as comfortable as the Mercedes, poor rear headroom because it’s a coupe and the interior doesn’t look as good as the Mercedes therefore is useless IMO

I just want to say out of all of these Mercedes is the best compromise, it actually would make sense to buy one, the back of the Mercedes isn’t like crunching into a sedan like the other two, it still is crazy quick. And it’s really nice

That lap was definitely rigged, Audi rsq8 is slower than all of these SUVs I doubt it would be any better on track, the Nurburgring lap record was faked for sure
