For us Europeans i think X3, GLC and Q5 are perfect size. 90% of people would have enough space for everything they need and they are just more practical for driving in town than these 3 big guys.

@@ngrandchamp1 I get it, but I have to say when I think German giants that porche is the 4th name that comes to mind.
It kind of feels like Porche isn't as much of a direct competitor with the rest of the German automakers. Porche feels like more of a competitor to Ferrari. I can't explain it, but it just kind feels that way to me at least.
They're the eccentric brother of the German siblings.
@@Jkev24 I guess that's true, Porsche is much closer to Ferrari and Lamborghini than they are to Mercedes and BMW when it comes to sports cars. But I think the Cayenne and Macan are definitely closer to their German counterparts in the SUV category

Another great review. I know it's a small thing but I like how you guys test for creaks in the dash. Those kinds of things are unacceptable in an expensive vehicle and can be a real pain to solve.

@@diamond_movado in the case of accord yes, but every other mazda usually drives better than their competitors. Just look at the CX-5 and CX-9, there isnt an SUV in their class that drives better. The Mazda 3 is just as good if not better than the Civic and the 6 is only 2nd to the Accord.

3:15 actually BMW was the first to create a high performance SUV. The X5 4.6is came out in 1999 and ML 55 AMG came out in 2000. Their performance figures was close however the X5 was able to sprint to 100 km/h in 6.4 secons (AMG 6.9) and had a top speed of 240 km/h.(AMG 232)

The X5 is a real drivers car although I’m a Mercedes fan and I like the Audi’s dashboard
The x5m looks too much like a base stock X3
But Audi RSQ8 is fastest lap record in Nuremberg, even faster than Urus
It’s funny to consider any of these a “drivers car”.

I disagree. TV execs would somehow find a way to change the pure essence of what they do.
I loved on 2 wheels as those guys have similar charisma and inject humor into their motorcycle reviews. They left and went to motortrend tv and lasted one season. They disappeared for a bit and now they are back on revzilla but not with the magic of the original.

I'm pumped that the car journalist who has tested all of them chose the Jeep Trackhawk over all of them! I have a Jeep and my mom has a Jag F Pace SVR. I don't have the Trackhawk but I have the 5.7L hemi with mods to make it more fun and sound amazing. It's a totally different experience than one of the sporty luxury SUVs. You feel like you can drive slow and still be super comfy and be a "boss" on the road. In the sporty cars you can feel dwarfed by other cars pretty easily and take away that "boss of the road" feeling. But taking the Jag around turns and the sounds it makes are glorious

Great comparison. Looking at these and the durango hellcat, really wish the x5m comp could tow like the others. Currently have a gls550 and like it but time to upgrade, just need to have towing.
