I recently bought a lumix G7 with an Olympus 30mm macro lens to take photos of dead insects, would the auto focus work for such small distances or would I need to purchase a stacking rail and manually take each photo and upload it to an image stacking software?
I wish there was an option to render all the frames as individual jpeg images so I could easily use them with stacking software like Helicon Focus. The in-camera processing can produce stacking artifacts.
Yes, unfortunately 4K Bulk Saving doesn't work with Post Focus and Focus Stacking. You could use the Exposure Bracketing feature instead though. Which camera do you have?
