There's a reason why one of the many memes to come out of WoW was 'In the Mountains...' being part of a line that one boss in Ulduar says in his intro. Then again his intro was also a bit lengthy which probably made re-fighting him more annoying as you keep getting that line over and over again.

The issue with this is that the bosses aren't that hard if you follow a guide and come prepared, it's more about the fear of losing tens of millions worth of inventory/equipment. That's why I almost never fought any bosses lmao

I had two Uruks that couldn’t die in Mordor. One I chopped his head off 5 times and he kept coming back until I lost the save, the other was Kaka the destroyer. He survived three times.
I had one I killed like 12 times, finally recruited him out of pure spite and he literally saved me every time I was about to, until he saved me from bruz and bruz permanently killed him

They put Ganon on as an honorable mention, and he's literally the least surprising recurring villain in any series ever, having been the main villain of 20 fucking games at this point lol. It would be far more surprising if the developers grew their first brain wrinkle and thought up a new villain.
I’ll bet the plot twist for Prime 4 is that the voice on the intercom who claims to be one of the surviving colonists, who has been helping you through the entirety of the campaign by remotely unlocking doors and giving occasional hints, will eventually get you to the room with the last colonists, only to lead you to a computer server room, where we find Ridley’s head plugged into a podium, because Ridley was being used as an AI interface and/or processor for the colony. This has been a Hideo Kojima post.
He just wants to die after this, as he's just a head, only a samus turns on the lights to the room though does he discover he just needed to lower his head into the armor below it the entire time... what happens afterwards is a Ridley pissed off he was never left with said instructions going on a space pirate killing spree until you chase him into the arena, where he decides that he's going to die on his usual blaze of glory as frankly it's probably just habit at this point.
You forgot about Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid. I thought he was finally dealt with at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4. But then he was back again in MGS 5
Shao Kahn. This mf keeps coming back again and again. You can literally punch through him or have his disintegrated by the elder gods but that guy will return. And if he doesn't come back, someone else will just resurrect him again
When I first saw the title I was thinking of my favorite villain in video games. He was the final boss in 1, Project Titan, and the 2 Strike games (mobile). Before the final boss in 2 - 4. The first boss in 5. Bandai Namco come out with a console port for Time Crisis 5 and a collection of all the games (arcade and previous console releases) for current or future consoles!

Multiple phases in the first game as the final boss; and is kinda technically revived by the klaww gang in the second game, and merged with the traitor neyla, for another multiphase final boss. Edit: also returns to view the coopers from afar in thieves in time, don’t get to fight him, and it’s believed that whenever we get sly 5 he will be a final boss because of the traitor (yay more traitors) Penelope. But thieves in time is set in the past but also acts as a sequel to 3...

I didn’t like the return of pyramid head because it’s James’ inner darkness as a manifestation which it doesn’t make sense to have another character go against him. He’s like resident evil 3’s nemesis, you wouldn’t expect nemesis to come back later in the series unless it’s a game like resistance where it isn’t really canonical having all those characters and bosses. I’m just saying it should make sense if they appear
Yeah I agree on this one, but... technically they could make Nemesis come back for couple of other side characters from STARS, because he wasn't just pursing Jill, but every STARS members. So they could make random spinoff game featuring Berry or Brad as MC and it would kinda make sense, especially for Berry because he survives RE3 in canon. Heck, he even shows up to save Jill in og RE3 if I remember it well, much like he saves her couple of times in RE1. Yeah, I know Nemesis never technically went after Berry because he was outside RC, but you get the idea.

Old video I know, but I will note one point about Vergil from Devil May Cry; he does get very close to actually dying. In the storyline of 5, he splits his human and demon half to nourish his demon side, literally through the blood of countless slaughtered innocent people by the demons, which gets sucked up by a demonic tree, the Qlipoth (pronounced Gli-photh) to produce a fruit which his demon form consumes to reinvigorate him before he merges back with his human side (after demon Vergil gets an ass kicking from Dante). What is actually killing him to cause him to do this is something I'm not entirely sure of though.
