I'm curious, why you not a fan of the gmmk pro? I just got one because I finally decided to upgrade into making my first custom, and only picked it because it had cute colors and was cheap on black friday 😂(at $80, I figured I would try it as my first one). Knowing what you don't like about it would certainly be helpful for any future builds :)
It is a super great board for $80. Do not worry about it. You will find out for yourself what you like and dont like about it for your next purchase in the future. You get and use what YOU like =)

I might be getting one of those higher end Akkos for a commission build. If that happens I will definitely do content for it!
Why do I feel like we relate so much on our opinions in the Mech community (Commenting after seeing your opinion on the GMMK Pro)! I have never been more disappointed in a keyboard. Even had a stripped screw on the back.
The only good thing the GMMK pro did was make the keyboard community more accessible, as those kits can be bought at microcenter, for example, and Glorious is a big gaming brand outside of the keyboard space. Got a lot of people into the hobby.
@@coleydotmp4 That is very true. In a way I’m thankful for the GMMK Pro. Because of it, I can get quality budget boards. The Keychron Q series boards are crazy good for the price and the Akko boards. My next board is probably the Q5. 1800 is personally my favorite layout aside from 75%.

You should, i think youll really like them. you cant go wrong. theyre a snappy, medium tactile with a great weight. they have slight factory lube. I havent even lubed mine and i love them
When it’s well lubed it sounds like it’s watered down when it’s not lined it’s sounds like your playing with a tech-deck.

I dont mind if the frow is right above the num row, but i definitely prefer spacers that section off every 3 keys.
