Can you cut wood with this? I mean straight cuts. I am planning on making a cable machine and I need to cut the timber down to a certain size. Was thinking about getting a circular saw for this however am in two minds.

Can you cut wood with this? I mean straight cuts. I am planning on making a cable machine and I need to cut the timber down to a certain size. Was thinking about getting a circular saw for this however am in two minds.

as shown in the video the 'Sonicrafter' is an ideal tool for many specific tasks. You can cut the wood, sure, but it depends by te length of the cut you have to do. If you have to cut panels probably a circular saw like this is better
