How to Make Kratky Jars for Pepper Plants

Upcycling a few pasta sauce jars into mini Kratky systems for Tabasco pepper plants! This video focuses on the build, and I will post another video later in the summer to show progress on the plants.

Nice. Have you grown peppers in solution before? Do you get the same amount of peppers when the plants are grown in the solution?

Hi Brandon! I’ve grown hydroponically before and normally get the same or more peppers doing it that way! However, I’ve never grown in a hydroponic system this small so it will be interesting to see how big these plants get and how many peppers they have. I would bet it will be same or more peppers than if I grew plants in pots of dirt this small though.
