Jayden has such a high floor which is what differentiates him from most “running” QBs that have come out in the draft.
His running ability is elite. But what makes me so high on him is hes a polished passer. That makes him rare.
Commanders fan: I'm tired of our dumb fanbase comparing rg3 to Daniels just because they like maye. Daniels is the better quarterback. Maye turns the ball over!!!

i wanna say this about Jayden Daniels even though i'm late to the party. Anyone that watches film on him, notices that theres an inexplicable disconnect between the running and the throwing, Where he's physically gifted, and multi dimensional BUT he's not a dual threat, in the sense that he doesn't threaten you with both at the same time. When he runs you know he's running, and when he throws you know he's throwing and this bothers me because part of the reason its so easy to predict is he sucks throwing on the move. theres a few lil things with him that make me think ehh barely top 15 dude a bit.
I think he takes the scramble over throwing on the run because he's just so darn good at getting the first with his legs. If you're almost guaranteed to get a first on the ground you're going to take that option most of the time. Doesn't necessarily mean he can't throw on the run. Plus I think it's a skill that can be developed. No player is a complete prospect coming into the league.
Jayden played in the SEC stop comparing Caleb to daniels lol it’s not even close the competition he’s played compared to Williams .
Daniels had open receivers everywhere. Williams’ level of difficulty was insanely harder with worse weapons and o-line

@@JohnAC4 Yes he had great receivers, yes he had a great o-line. But do you know what else helps? Having a quarterback who can kill you with his legs on any opening. Check out the Alabama game. A defense with multiple players who just got drafted, including multiple first rounders, and they had to rush 3 or 4 most of the game because they were afraid of his legs and needed a spy. That took pressure off the offensive line which then gave Jayden more time to throw which in turn gave the receivers more time to get open.

It shows how terrible Ahmed is that despite knowing that Simms doesn’t give a shit about stats, he still does nothing but rattle off stupid stats that he’s reading from his laptop. And he does that cuz he has zero football knowledge, watches no film. If he couldn’t cite stats he would have nothing else to say, besides his god-awful jokes
Ahmed forgets that stats only mean something if you’re comparing likes or apples to apples. Tebow was 70% completion at Florida but nobody ever said he was a polished thrower. What’s great about Simms is he’s “scouting the QB not the offense.” Totally convinced me after Herbert’s success.
