Alright so Enola Holmes 2 is now out, meaning another mystery is afoot. So tip top cherr-o, grab your tea and strumpets because uhhhh a crime is to be solved.
But in this video we're gonna be discussing that ending, some of the film’s real-life counterparts, our theories for potential sequels or spin-offs, along with our reaction and review of this second Milli Bobby Brown joint.

So this sequel takes place roughly a year after the first, with Enola having opened her own detective agency, that's doing about as well as Elon’s Twitter take over. Zero clients because of her age and gender, with many asking for the “real” Sherlock, not this strange girl, who looks like she’s Eleven.
Though a young girl named Bessie swoops in with a missing person’s case that saves Enola’s livelihood and the movie's plot. Essentially Bessie’s Sarah, they’re not real sisters, one morning, just turned up missing. The initial clues are Sarah’s red hair, her being an academic, lip stick, and one wilting plant, while another is flourishing.
This leads Enola to the Lyon’s match factory, where she not only discovers Sarah had stolen important ledger documents from the Lyon’s office, but a sickness called Typhus, is spreading like an epidemic, with many of the factory girls contracting it. This feels eerily similar to uhhh… Nevermind. Enola spies on a meeting between Mr. Lyon, his cub, William, along with Mr. MacIntire and his secretary Ms. Mira Troy.
Enola’s hunch to follow Sarah’s flatmate, Mae, proves fruitful as she discovers they worked at the Paragon theater together as performers, rather than the The Stag Antlers bar that she had told Bessie. Something is a miss, as Enola gathers more evidence including matching lipstick and a hidden love letter.
Feeling a shadow follow her, Enola bumps into a drunken Sherlock, as both head to his place. The plot thickens, as Sherlock’s own mystery, which looks like a Charlie Kelly Pepe Silvia situation, may have a connection with Enola’s

Can you elaborate? Why would she be trying to find Watson? I really would like to know.
@@Theblankminer Synopsis of "The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets": Everyone knows Dr. Watson is Sherlock Holmes' right-hand man-so when he goes missing, it's a shock. Even Sherlock hasn't, well, the slightest clue as to where he could be. Enola is intrigued, but wary; she's still hiding from her older brothers-and getting involved could be disastrous.
But when a bizarre bouquet shows up at the Watson residence, full of convolvulus, hawthorn, and white poppies, Enola must act. She dons her most discerning disguise yet to find the sender-and quickly, for Enola knows the blossoms symbolize death! Enola knows she must act quickly, but can she find Dr. Watson in time?
I was really curious and interested in the detective storyline, I liked the chemistry with Millie and Henry ,they made some really good pacing in the film ,the Jon Watson reveal was surprising,it had some flaws in some realisms,or quick twists,but in the end this movie is great, If you've liked the first one this one will not let you down :D.
Love this series and cannot wait to have the three of them in EH3!
I thought 2 was way way better then part 1 ...I was pleasantly surprised.
I loved the reveal of Moriarty. Funny thing when Sherlock was trying to figure out who was behind the bank transfers i kept yelling Moriarty and the once he solved the cipher i was right. This one was good. Also Enola telling him to get a flat mate, my brain immediately thought of Watson. The end credit scene was great. I think they'll do Enola 3 but i would like a solo Holmes and Watson movie too. Maybe the Hounds of Baskerville story or another one.
The rdj Sherlock has a third movie being made which will be a Sherlock and Watson story
And I don’t much like the Sherlock portrayed in Enola Holmes lol. She’s the main character of this universe, so Sherlock isn’t as smart as he should be, and he got his ass kicked way tooo much for my liking😂

The reveal was good but they destroyed Moriarty by making his character a woman like it completely lost its stature. Class Neflix tho 😭😭

if they make a third, i hope it gets darker as she gets older. it might be just a personal preference but i find it to be more enjoyable especially movies set in that time period when it has a more serious tone
At this point ...there needs to be a show
if they were to do a sequel (and it’s super not in the light-hearted theme of the show), if they were to maybe do a spin on the Jack the Ripper case it could be interesting. Don’t see them ever going that far, but this side plot in the growing women rights movement is very interesting
There should be Cavill 's Sherlock Holmes spinoff, Enola Holmes 2 is set 1888, Jack the ripper killings started in 1888
It could be a Harry Potter esque of a series when as Harry got older, the story's tone is darker.

He literally has no projects lined up. Doubt he'll be back as Superman since James Gunn just took over DC. He left the Witcher and not sure if he'll be the next Bond either. He should 100% make a Sherlock solo movie especially since they just introduced Watson!
I really enjoyed this movie and it was a refreshing change from the super hero genre that’s dominating the theatres right now.

I actually was switched off right after the escape lol ..... and once i got my attention it was the match girl stamping lol ..... was nice to watch enjoyable !! and nice to see the end easter eggs aswell!!

Loved every minute of it. Thought it was fun and charming, just like the first one. And of course would love England 3 and a Cavill led Sherlock and Watson solo.

I rarely need to watch a film again after the initial viewing but I started my second viewing immediately after finishing my initial viewing 😊
I love Cavill in anything, but I would have liked to have seen Downey reprise his representation of Holmes and even more so, see Jared Harris as Moriarty again. He brought the right complexity of the character to life. He was amazingly intelligent, witty, and classy, but also ruthless, intimidating, and deadly.
What.? I'm so lost. You wanted Downey jr to reprise his role? Of a character in a different universe? Are you saying you didnt want cavill in the first film? Are you saying you want these films to be a retconned spinoff of a character that was never even eluded to in Downey's actual Holmes films...?????? Wtf

Just watched this. I do like this actress. And I have enjoyed both movie. Simple fair but nicely done.
Loved the sequel. The mystery was great (loved its ties to actual historical events/people!), enjoyed Enola and Tewkesbury's growing relationship more this time around than I did in the first film (not a fan of romance in general, but this installment was lovely), and OMG YAY DR. WATSON IS ON THE SCENE! Enola may rest easier now knowing that there is someone trustworthy close to her brother keeping an eye on him, and a physician at that.
My two favorite things, though, were: 1) Millie and Henry's sibling chemistry. It was very good in the first film, but their interactions in the sequel blew my socks off! Definitely hope to see more of that in the future. 2) Mira Troy a.k.a. Moriarty. As soon as Sherlock mentioned that the person he was pursuing on his case was something of a math genius, I immediately started shouting at the screen, "OMFG IT'S MORIARTY!!! This is their first interaction!" But most of all, I absolutely LOVE that Moriarty is a woman in this world. Sharon Duncan-Brewster was flat out AMAZING and I hope we get to see more of her rendition of Moriarty in the future!
I personally am hoping for a continuation of the Enola Holmes films. There's plenty of inspiration to be drawn from the original book series (Nancy Springer has even written 2 new installments in the past couple of years since the films started). Also, though, I'd love for there to be a separate spinoff series of films covering Sherlock and Dr. Watson's adventures. Plus, now that Moriarty has come onto the scene, that leads to the question of how the events of Reichenbach might play out in this world.
All we need now is to get Mycroft back in here so he can get over himself and see just how amazing his sister is. Mycroft got that chance in the book series, so I hope they're able to translate it into the films at some point as well.
I just watch the HS breakdown if the movie doesn't seem appealing.

Hey, thanks for the video! First one I've seen with just you, Jared, and though I was a bit thrown off at first, not too shabby! ;) I'm glad Paul has help with everything! Aaanyways, I loved the movie, and was thoroughly entertained all throughout! The her going to jail thing was a bit weird, but I really appreciated the scene with her mom helping break her out, and all the ass kickery it involved. Random, and not necessary, but good to show that her mom's still sewing chaos! ;) (I mean come on, who doesn't like HBC sewing chaos? Aside from Dobby.)

I feel like the reason for the jail break was a bit lost on those who have not read the books. The search for the mother is a much more central plot in the books, although I agree that it probably could have been dropped.
The great thing about Holmes is it’s ability to to be like Bond and have different actors and plots yet still be Holmes. Cavill is perfect for the series but RDJ is still the best imo
For me this wasn’t even a real movie. It was just a message. When your movie just has your message screaming at the audience every 5-10 minutes it takes away from the actual story itself. For me this was just a run of the mill film, sadly.
well the dialogue between Kevin Hart and Ice Cube was definitely dope. Explain How the hell can you go missing. Well nobody realizes where you are when ain't there. Brilliant. Which movie is it from ?
The movies are quite enjoyable. The end scene at the factory was a little cheesy as was the villain speech, I hope they can improve the ending for the next one.
Glad I’m not the only one who thought that, I think the 1st one is better, it’s too much cheesy stuff in the 2nd one and is it just me or Enola talk to the camera like 100% more than the 1st one so it makes the story and character felt unbelievable/unreal at least to me.
But
I found Turksburry act very believable towards Enola how he look at her like damn his acting really good.
And Henry Cavil is the star in this one ☝️ no doubt
@@elle_na619 I didn't have a problem with the 4th wall breaks in either movie. I think it fits the story telling narrative style of the movie. I would love to see a Henry Cavil led Sherlock movie, but I think his plate is getting full.

Oy, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the first movie, but this second one not so much. I feel like she spent half the movie talking to us, a lot of things thrown in that just seemed more than a bit out of place, hostility toward certain things were just way out of line...breaking out a jail had no consequences...I mean it just seemed to lack the charm and depth of the first movie. Seems she took many steps and forgot the lessons she learned in the first movie. And was the owner of the factory okay that his son was murdered?! I'm confused!
Moriarty was a white man. Not a black woman. But the studios had to appear woke. Ugh.

I'm very surprised that they didn't cast a black actor for Holmes. Most millenials wouldn't notice or even care about any historical inaccuracies regarding race. This show was as diverse and woke as they come and the final 30 minutes were nauseating. I'll be cancelling my Netflix sub. as I've had enough. Conan Doyle must be turning in his grave. Who? The kids ask.
