Subscribed because of proverbs 3:27 😊
Love it!
This is very helpful -- thanks for sharing! Also love the verse Proverbs 3:27: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act"
@@RealJoshBinder one of my favorite verses!
Nice space. I like the Bible verse 👍🏾
Thank you!
5:28 You said you wear this microphone. I think you mean headphones.
This is pretty DOPE.. I Love the VID Fam.. we should link up or do something.. I’m looking to do a PODCAST myself.. we got the same exact CAMERA
If you need help with your set up hit me up!
Awesome breakdown. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.👍❤️
Finally a setup that’s reasonable. I always see videos talking about their budget setup and it’s like $5000. This is dope
Yeah my budget is not that high haha but my space is constantly evolving. It started with just a blank wall and a camera.
@@AustinMadriaga that’s pretty much where I am right now. Constantly working to piece it together to make it better
But this is also about the same price if you add up all 21 equipment
Setting up a podcast room . Thanks for the inputs brother !
Record it and post it! It will help someone in the same position as you 👍
Best channel 🎉
I appreciate you!
How did you sync the audio with the video?
How to synchronize all of your camera into one with your audio? Hope you will make a vlog about it or editing stuffs. Thank you
Have you found an answer yet?
Can the mic be hooked up through usb directly to a laptop?
Yes! The Samsung q9u can be connected via usb directly into a laptop!
Hey can you put the link for the white table you use to put the mics on?
hello, what boom arm do you use for the q9u, I don't see it in the links. thks
Hey! Just Added the link in the description! It's Innogear from amazon.
ka ano ano mo si mark madriaga sir
Love the setup! Very helpful as we are needing an option in our tiny home. :)
@@FreewayFlippers you can make good use of a small space. Have fun with it!
Bro can you please send me a link for all 3 cameras
Hey! Check out the description, i have all 3 cameras linked for you to purchase. Also I included the Sony fx30 which is actually my main camera that replaced all 3 cameras in this video.
Solid set up and video 👍🏾
Appreciate it 🤙
Great, clean, informative, humble video with valuable content- thank you brother. ✝️
I appreciate you!
How long your cannon can record a video? Does it not have a time limit when it comes to video recording??
@@learnandearn1317 the two cannon’s have a 30min record limit
@@AustinMadriaga thank you so much but how do you record more than 30 minute video is there any trick or tips???
@@learnandearn1317 I would recommend a camera that records longer. Starting with your phone or upgrading to a Sony camera. The canon cameras in this video were older.
Do you use speaker monitors for audio
I plug in headphones into the Podtrak P4 and monitor my audio before and during a podcast
do I need more than one Headphone inputs in the audio interface if its a podcast of two? the microphon has an headphone input too whats the difference plugging in the headphones there or in the interface?
I have not tried plugging it in directly into the microphone but it should work the same, probably not as clear as the audio recorder though
@@AustinMadriaga Thank you I will try an Interface with One Heaphone Input then :)
Hey bro, love the video! Just wondering how do you convert the footage into vertical footage for reels and shorts?
I’m a new podcaster. Can I come on and interview you?
Hi can you mention which boom arm you are using?
By any chance would it be recommendable/possible to do a podcast with gopro (in case I also have iphone 14 but I would preper to use the gopro for memory space reasons...)? I have a "Logitech c930 pro" microphone. Any idea on how to connect them? How shall I make it possible for the gopro to not run out of battery? Maybe they are obvious questions but I've never did anything similar and even tho I am 23 y/o, I'm a tech boomer hahah
Hey! Depending on how you want your podcast. You could potentially film a podcast from your laptop and connect your camera and microphone to your laptop, and use a software like stream yard to do your podcast. Not sure about go pro though I have not utilized it in that way before.
I love your set up. Keep up the great work! Best luck
I appreciate it!
Very beautifully done!
Thanks for this video!
Did you choose the position of the sound panels randomly? Or there is a reason of the place that you put it?
Hey! I placed it randomly. The room is small enough that having sound treatment anywhere will work.
Hi please what about the chairs? Where sis you purchase it
Nice set up. One thing I'd try is to move the chairs away from the wall to create bit more depth.
Yes thats great input!
Can you please make a video on your audio recording set up?
I just started a podcast a few months back and I’m struggling with my audio.
Thank you!
@Austin : Can you help me understand as I have started my journey to podcast and I have my own budget so how you record the mics input because what I am thinking to purchase two USB condensor mic and connect to computer and record ? can you tell me what can be best and cheaper way to record mics input for the podcast.
Get yourself an audio interface. Connect the 2 mics to an audio interface, then connect your audio interface to your laptop.
Great video and the mic used in this video is crispy any post on audio?
Thank you! I used a diety pocket wireless for my main audio. You can find it in the description. Post production I do make some adjustments to the audio.
When you’re recording the audio with two guests. Are you able to bounce it out and edit the two channels separately?
Yes, when you record audio through the zoom PodTrak P4, you get individual files per channel and one file that combines all of it. So you have a files that already syncs up everyone, and you also are able to just use/edit individual audio files.
Good job, i like your set up
Thanks for the support 🤙
Canon recording is 30 min and stop the record how do you do for filming in continue about 1h and more without rec stopping ?
Thanks for asking! For the Canon record limit I have someone manually press record right before the record limit. Since this video, I have upgraded to a Sony Fx30 Camera which has no record limit as well as has an internal fan so it never overheats.
Thanks for walking us through your setup
No problem hope it helped you!
Nice setup bro! Subbed!
Too rich for my blood
Best of luck to you! We all start somewhere 🤙
This was very insightful.
I would like to send a dm to ask some audio related question about podcast recording, would that be okay?
Great! I just replied to your DM 🤙
Would a 16-55mm Sony apsc kit lens work?
@@troy8609 yes! When I first got my Sony zve10 i was using my 16-55 kit lens for awhile before I upgraded.
Another question, is it guaranteed that you make money on podcast that’s just starting off? Also what advice would you give me as I don’t have any audience or experience
Great question! It’s not guaranteed. You have to put yourself out there, be consistent with releasing, having a product or service to promote, and affiliate links to whatever you’re using 👍
Good video. I also peeped the scripture #letsgoooooooo lol anywho, I did think that your video would also have the sound of the Samson mic throughout, it was a noticeable difference. Sorry some tried to joke on you for that. Keep doing your thing bredren! God bless you and the channel!
I appreciate it! There’s always room for improvement!
Nice video very helpful, however you never told how you was operating your cameras??!!
For this setup it’s a 3 camera set up and I switch between them when I edit afterwards 👍
Hi, how about the grey cloth behind the light? Is that just a curtain?
Yes, it's just a curtain 🤙
Love the simplicity in explaining, do you have a contact to where I can reach you and ask a few things. The proverbs on the wall is awesome!
DM me on IG @austinnmad 👍
hey Austin I really like this, how can I reach out to you man I do have same questions plz
If you have instagram you can reach out to me @austinnmad 👍
Where’s your two seats from?
Which is your mic stand
What about the software and the overall connectivity?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and sync up the cameras and audio using the multi camera view tool
How the hell is it that we have the same lights, the same mics, the same sigma 16mm, AND the same recorder 🤣
It’s a solid set up!!
Please tell me the camera u use
@@abdiali1037 I use 2 canon EOS R’s
Can you show us how you mix and edit your videos please
I will get to doing a video like that soon!
So informative and helpful! God bless you brother🙏
Appreciate it!!
I have a question please. does your canon 60D and 80D shoot straight 1 hour because mine always stop at 15 minutes max
They have about 15-20 min record limit. So with this set up, i have a second person pressing record again close to record limit.
Ohhhh thank you for this i think i have to shoot with my iphone because i wanna start a solo podcast and i don't have anyone to press the record button for me@@AustinMadriaga
Sharp! I needed this. Thanks
Awesome!
Awesome details... Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
How to connect your sound with your video? Which device?
I record audio separately in an audio recorder (zoom PodTrak p4) via my mics. And I sync it up with the camera’s audio when I edit.
I love this setup! I’m just getting started with podcasts. Some good ideas here
Good luck to you! Links in the description for items in the video.
Very informative and detailed explanation of every gear used. I guess when you get started, u will press record on each of the cameras? How's the catch? Do you use an HDMI switcher? Highly appreciated for the explanation when it comes to post-production process please!
How do you put the video from the camera and audio from the recorder together?
Check out my recent video on my channel I explained it a bit more. Essentially I sync them up when I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Thanks so much for this! Do you ever have any issues with your ZV E10 overheating or the recording coming to a stop automatically? I have one ZV E10 and am considering getting another for my podcast setup, but I worry about the overheating as it's happened several times in the past after only about 20-30 minutes of record time in some cases, even in temperature controlled rooms. Thanks for any tips you may have on this!
Hey! I do have overheating issues with my ZVe10. But I recently got a cooling fan from amazon for it. Now I am able to record 4k 24 fps for nearly 1.5 hours with the fan attached to the back of the camera. Also, make sure the the LCD screen is open and the battery lid is open during filming, it helps with cooling it.
@@AustinMadriaga Thank you so much for sharing this, Austin! That is awesome and I’ll definitely be purchasing one or two fans myself! Any recommendations on brand?
@pennsylvaniajunkie amzn.to/3TrRPNR
@@AustinMadriagaTYSM! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you very much.
why use a different type of camera?
It doesn’t have to be the same cameras, especially if you’re trying to get a different kind of shot (ie various lenses). But for me, I use different cameras because it’s just what I have right now. Ideally in the future I would like the same cameras.
Starting mine soon, any advice as to where to start ?
My advice is to keep it as easy, stress free and least amount of work put in, in order for you to produce content consistently on a weekly basis. Often times, we can be caught up with getting the perfect podcast with all the equipment. Just keep it simple. Use what you have, and invest as you go.
How do you manage to shoot with the two canons camera that can only shoots 29mns of video then stop?
Thanks for the question! I had a second person stop and record each time it got close to the record limit. But since then, i have upgrade to a Sony fx30 which has no record limit.
Best video on This subject I've seen! Love the setup! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Do you record into SD cards for all the cameras?
Yes, I have an SD card for each camera 👍
What camera is hooked up to the XLR recorder?
The audio recorder is a PodTrak P4. The camera’s aren’t connected to it. It’s an external recorder and I just synchronize the PodTrak audios to the camera scratch audio in Adobe premiere pro
Austin, What do you use to record the video? We have been using a laptop with Web cams, but need more options if we want to use 3 cameras so we were considering having a Desktop built.
I use 2 cannon cameras and 1 Sony Camera to record the podcast. Each use an SD card, then I plug in the SD card into my laptop to transfer the file before I edit on my laptop. Not sure what you’re trying to film but the type of content you’re filming will make a difference on what camera equipment you need.
I recommend checking out mevo they just released some cameras targeting multi cameras film making , like a stream or podcast
Nice setup
Thank you!
Good job 👏🏽
I appreciate it!
So you have one camera picking up the audio and the other two just for video. So when you edit, you just add the close up shots and keep the audio from the wide shot camera?
@@harveyvictorcreatives No, i record into the zoom PodTrak P4 external recorder. Then the 3 cameras with each one’s audio gets sync’d up to the PodTrak p4 audio in edit
@@AustinMadriaga Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I can do the same with my comicalink preamp mixer
Great video thank you!! are you able to tell me how do you edit the footage once youve recorded the video podcast. like how ou sync the audio and put all the video together of different angles, your workflow please. Thank you !!
Coming soon! I’m the meantime, you can search it on TH-cam how to go go from filming to editing to posting. There’s a lot of good resources out there 👍
@@AustinMadriaga 🤘
Hoping that oneday I will have enough money to set up a studio like this🤲
Start with what you have! “Day one” > “One day”
Very nice set up, thanks for showing this.
Where is the link to the chairs?
This isn't the same one but very similar: amzn.to/3MAtVwN, many options on amazon!
Thank you Austin for this awesome and informative video. My wife and I are looking to upgrade our space and this video was very helpful. Btw I love that Scripture as well! Just subscribed 😀🙏
@@jsfempowers i appreciate you! 🙏
Great setup but audio still can be better
Agreed! Audio was a work in a progress 👍
I've worked as a producer and host for my TV show. Currently, I'm just getting started on my podcast. I'm doing it mostly on my own. They say the start is the tricky part. I like this video. I have some excellent ideas to apply to my podcast. Subscribed!
@@NoemiDiazOficial yeah just start! You’ll figure it out more and more as you go.
really good video brother , thank you.
Brilliant - Very Informative
Are you using a live switcher?
No, I am switching post editing on adobe premiere pro. I will either manually switch in post, or I will use Autopod.
@@AustinMadriaga Thanks for the info!
bless up
Very helpful thanks
Thank you!
please show the mac setup? how you record? lol :D
Nice video! how do you put all the audio and video together? Usually i see people running the video and audio into an atem. Curious if your just recording all the video onto SD cards and putting it together in post. Do you ever run into battery issues, or do you have dummy batteries w/ AC connection? Thanks!
I put the video into SD cards, audio into an audio recorder and sync them all in post. I’ve thought about a video switcher like the ATEM but I prefer to shoot in 4K and don’t want to ATEM yo downside to 1080.
This is my old podcast setup which I rand a dummy battery for one camera and the other 2 were regular batteries that held up fine. The record limit of the 2 cannon’s were not great. I’ve since upgraded my equipment though so tune in for a new podcast studio set up tour video!
Thanks bro! You gained a subscriber! I appreciate the education and information! #christianpodcasters
Appreciate you! God bless!
4:31 The Zoom Podtrack is great!
It’s great especially growing into it. I started with a 2 person podcast and now it’s 3-4 people and the podtrak P4 is the perfect recorder for me right now!
It's small it portable and a great price. You can play your bumpers and use it to record in a DAW I believe so the Podtrack can work as a backup recorder.@@AustinMadriaga
I use the same lightning system but trying to find cheap cameras with clean HDMI. I'll have to get another Panasonic G7
I upgraded to a Sony Fx30 and it's the best! Not cheap by any means but buy it once and don't need anything else for a very long time
Contrary to the top comment I love the audio switch from phone to mic. Articulates the quality difference.
Appreciate it!
This is dope! I absolutely love this video and I wish I could purchase everything you spoke about literally!
I appreciate that! If you decide to get any of the items links are in the description. Good luck with your future set up 🙌
Thank you! Valuable info
Do you have more information for a 2 person interview setup (primarily for the cameras). I'm looking for a way to do this with 3 iphone cameras and believe there has to be an easier way, perhaps an app or software?
Start with what you have! A 3 iPhone multi camera set up is great! Focus more on how you will be capturing audio.
Thank you so much I appreciate you for that usually these TH-camr don’t really share their tech nor their strategies you’re one of a million my brother!!
I appreciate you!
Nice video. How do you sync and edit the video from three cameras and the audio?
I use adobe premiere pro and sync up all the audio on there after filming
Mr. Austin thanks for that wonderful show. i have liked your setup. Actually i have been looking for such nice looking studio set up
Glad it was helpful!
Focus in serving, not growing is a really good principal when it comes to content creation
Absolutely!
Dope setup, I also use the same microphone in my channel and I can back up the fact that its really good for the price.
It’s a solid choice!
How do you record, you click record on all of them, then you get every file from each cámara then edit it ? You don't have no hdmi connected to the cameras?
Yes, I click record on each of them separately. I take the SD cards on each of them and transfer the files onto my laptop. Then when I am editing on Premiere Pro I use Multicam view to switch between cameras.
@@AustinMadriaga wow man thank much for the information!
ayoo had no idea you have soo less subs - really high video quality, nice vid thanks
Thank you i appreciate it!
