ive been getting ready to start a podcast of my own. Im tired of not living the way i want to when at the end of the day, we ultimately have the control! im going to do what i love and a lot of what i have been feeling lately resonates nicely with the idealogy behind your own podcast. which im excited to start listening to! I'm done sitting here not happy with my life, im ready to live creatively and with my truest and purest passions guiding me into the life i desire. this video found me at the perfect time and i am truly grateful. What is the difference between the $189 & $250 audio interface?

It looks like the $189 one is just "SSL 2" edition where as the $250 one is "SSL2+". I'm assuming the 2+ means it has 2 channels plus 2 phones (2 knobs, "phone a" and "phone b"). We have the $189 one and it just has one knob for "phones" and we have no issues. It comes with the XLR's and headphones so that's nice :)

Thank for video. Just starting out and I have a zoom H6, mics and my iPhone and IPad. Setting a 2 person podcast. How do I capture the video portion with that equipment I’m confused 😐 any wisdom will be a huge help!
Of course! Good question :) to my knowledge it sounds like you’ve got the audio interface/recorder (zoom h6) and video tool (iPhone/ipad down) so you just need podcast mics + XLR cables so you can plug the mic (using the XLR cable) into the zoom h6 recorder and start recording. That should set you up for an audio file! I’ve never used the zoom h6 but my guess is you connect that to a laptop to get the file.
If you want to do a visual podcast as well as audio, you can use your iPhone to record and plug into the same laptop. This is where you’ll need a system like OBS to sync the audio file from your zoom h6 and your video footage from your iPhone. When you set up those audio and video sources in OBS and press “start recording”, it will automatically sync. In the latter half of the video I have some visuals of how you can do that!

I wonder can you podcast on other social media sites.
Definitely on TH-cam! TikTok also just started allowing horizontal 10 minute videos so you can probably do longer clips there but unfortunately most socials are limited to short form :( but I recommend cutting them into smaller shorts/clips to get fresh eyes! It's a great strategy!
