EC has 6 members from the beginning: Kevin, harsh vocals, sometimes keyboard or piano. Sebastian (called Sushi) was the original lead singer, he left early in 2020 to found a new project named Ghostkid. Nico replaced Sushi as the clean singer. His former band, To The Rats And Wolves, had disbanded by the end of 2019/ beginning of 2020. Fun fact: the bassist and one guitarist of TTRAW joined Ghostkid (the guitarist left by the end of 2020). Daniel H., guitar, he does the majority of their programming and production. Pascal, guitar, he and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros) which produces the majority of EC's videos, Mindreader is one of the few exceptions. Daniel K., bass guitar. Michael, called Micha, was the original drummer, he left in 2012 out of private reasons and current drummer David joined. In March of 2022, Micha filled in for a live performance (of Pump It!) on a German TV show, as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border.
Yup, this is when they say "Liked our fun stuff? Now let us show uou somethin' 😎" I loge their goofy songs, but this is one that I cannot listen to without wild headbanging - so aggressive, rich, surprising and simply GOOD! And the video is marvellous, I appreciate so much the tremendous job that makeup artists have done ❤ Still, there are some more of their songs to go 😉 "Spaceman" and "Hurrikan" 😅 Have a nice day! 😊
There are three 'serious' songs on this record, the other two being 'Parasite' and 'Neon'. Both total bangers, of course. Also, 'Prism' is a superb serious song with their previous singer.
They have range, the more you watch the deeper it goes. Hate/Love is in this category, it's good, glad they have it. Fck Boi is almost in this category, its a bit of both and very good
Though EC did goofy stuff and transitons before, the introduction of their new singer Nico with Hypa Hypa really kicked off that style during the pandemic. And somehow they managed to keep up to that style and intensity ever since. You may want to look at Crystals, an older serious song form the pre Nico era with similar visuals to Mindreader if you liked this one. More goofy stuff: definitely the MC Thunder / Arrow of Love series and Spaceman.
Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova. I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 19 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on TH-cam. Many TH-camrs publish reactions on these performances, which include "California Dreamin' " , "Sweet Dreams" (all 19 y.o.), "Can't Help Falling In Love", "Crow", "Personal Jesus" (all 18 y.o.), "Wicked Game", "Human" (15 y.o.), "Derniere Danse", "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" (14 y.o.), "Take On Me" (17 y.o.) and others.
A small selection of some of Diana's best performances. The first short video (TRY IT NOW) is a photoshoot with a short snippet of Sweat Dreams. th-cam.com/play/PL2p6B7aV7B-yLFGyLypu8OyYonu3yY_mm.html
Hey Jeremy, ever listened to Jinjer? As a prog death metal guy I suspect you'd really enjoy them. Typical starter song for them is Pisces, but with your background I suspect you would enjoy Vortex a whole lot more. The most talented band I've listened to since Tool. Musicianship is so tight & technical, and Tati on vocals is just...well...you'll see ;) Funnily enough (or not) there's a massive fanbase sharing between Electric Callboy & Jinjer.
Although they take themselves very seriously at not being serious, they are a serious band and this is a solid example of that.

Glad you liked it. One of their rare serious songs. Still a banger which kinda completes their repertoire.
Now you are ready for the bonus request. 🎉

"Unicorns and midgets" lmao
They are a band with 6 members 😊 two vocalists, who was in this video. For some more of the funny stuff, try Hurrikan or Arrow of love 😊
Awesome song! I love how they can just be hilarious in one song and serious in the next, but kill it every single time.

Their funny videos are great but this is one for jamming in the car where you don't need the video to add to it
💯!!! ✌🏽
Although it's a serious song, it's still a banger. Can't wait to see them in November when they tour Australia.

I'm a BIG Jinjer fan! I can't tell you how many reactions to Pisces I've watched - so awesome (and hysterical!!). Thanks for the suggestion ✌🏽
