I love that Akon seems to be having the time of his life here. He just looks *so* excited to be doing something truly ridiculous.
I think a lot of people go into these like that. Timberlake has had loads of fun with them, but mostly I think everyone enjoys the absurdity of working with Lonely Island. It's prob chill for them to just do some dumb shit for laughs.

One of my ex roommates was a stripper when we lived together. I would go to the strip club with her and play pool while she worked, and this song was actually in their regular rotation of music. I lost my shit the first time I heard it start up in there.

I went to a catholic school back when lonely island was popular. The grade above me did their senior prank by doing a parody of this song- “I just got blessed” and played it in front of the school for a talent show thing. The students all got the joke, most of the teachers didn’t know except one, and she was pissed. The song went like “I just got blessed and it felt so good, I let the Holy Spirit come inside of me”

Also as a side note I live in an area where (due to the presence of a dominant religion) a lot of people wait until marriage to have sex for the 1st time. Akons voice is so unique, like i love it so much, he makes the song perfect. even the comedic parts like when he says "this one goes out to the girls who let us flop around on top of them" its a joke, but im not even laughing because of how good he sounds singing it. Damn i miss Akon, and the guy went back to Africa just to give his home area all electricity. give a "like" if you need more akon in your life.
I highly recommend checking out the band NSP after Lonely Island. Their songs are hilarious and well made! I would highly recommend Welcome to My Parents' House, Danny Don't You Know, or Cool Patrol to start with.
