I'm not surprised this happened. No hate, but one of the reasons I was starting NOT to like ElkShape is because Dan seems so serious and always has to be "in charge" and everyone else (including Tim) is expected to follow along. Seems like sometimes tinkering (and other things) were forced on the whole group because it's what Dan wants and likes. For me, Tim, you brought balance to that channel, and I probably won't be watching now that you won't be a part of it anymore.

I'm a professional designer for a living, so when I say that your video editing is legit, I absolutely mean it. Glad you made it out of Michigan man. The deer hunting here is literally the worst in the country, especially in SE Michigan. I'd like the opportunity to hunk elk in the northern LP, but drawing one of those tags is basically impossible.

With this new channel, I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the elkshape channel. I don’t know Dan personally but from what I saw he comes off as a short guy with small man syndrome and I can see partnership with someone like Him to be difficult, I appreciate you leaving the channel as graceful as you are, only thing I wanna see more of us hunting and more emphasis on the hunt rather then click bait and reviews like on elkshape

I’m excited about the future. This isn’t a shot at Dan at all but he’s a “big” personality. There often doesn’t appear to be room for anyone else when he’s in front of the camera. I think you will both excel going separate ways. Your personality and content are more my style and I’m here to support your growth!

A good video that many archers would watch is a vane comparison. Shooting groups with the different vanes. I would test AAE Max, Tac vanes and good old Blazers against one another.

Tim, i look forward to watching your future content; good luck my friend.... Your video skills are outstanding.... keep it up close and in focus so we can see what the heck you are talking about. I'd enjoy hearing you continually talk about what you've learned, mistakes you've made, and what you are doing to try and become a better archer; what you think has helped and what didn't seem (for you) to make a difference.... I like your product reviews and easy-going style; maintain strong ethics, be real, stay honest, and have fun.... I recommend you keep content and jokes suited for all age groups and really target those people that aren't experts, trying to figure it out. teach us from your trials and errors so we can learn from you and with you. Tuning, shooting in the wind, frustrations, ways to practice making the most with the time available. etc. etc. From the time you first picked up your bow to now.... relive that journey and target those who are going down that same path, i think they are the ones most eager to learn and will best relate with your story because they are experiencing it at a slower pace. Sometimes hearing the experts talk leaves out key elements us rookies need, or the video didn't show clearly the point they made so we were left confused on what just happened.... the why you tried it, the why you liked it, the why you stopped and did something different. For example, I've seen you change grips, I missed why, what were you trying to improve and for you did it make a difference. I like your "always be tinkering", but please go into more detail about what you learned from that, and did it solve any struggles you were having. I'd like to see content for example that focuses on a single problem you are having... to see and hear you say for example you have problems torquing the bow and shooting broadheads left/right, then show us a theory you have and a change you make and then show if (for you) it helped. keep going down the rabbit hole until you solve if (for you).... recap by saying in the end i changed my shooting style/equipment to do abc and found it helped.. for us watching with a similar problem we now have a list of items to try with examples of how to do each one to enable us to figure out which (for us) helpled. A video journal of what you were doing so we could repeat it or understand it at our end may help us solve a similar problem. etc. etc. Another example is, by pure accident i came across one of your videos that said broadhead tuning with a high/low impact problem (can't recall the details) was usually caused by cam timing and mfjj spoke about this briefly, but i don't recall ever hearing that before and an entire episode showing the changes and the results of how a broadhead flies to fix this would have been ideal when i was chasing my tail at that time. Again, I look forward to watching you for years to come. Sorry for the babbling :).

Walk your road! Head high looking forward. The Elk Shape team and videos really were some that cemented me to go pick up a bow last year @ 52 years old. I'll keep watching both channels and keep on learning as I pick up new things.
