- David Easterbrook visits the vibrant Dan Robinson for a generous tour of his sanctuary Elandan Gardens located in Washington state. The 84 year-old war veteran is a pillar of the American bonsai movement. He shares with us his grandiose lifelong commitment to gnarly trees.
I've never seen Dan open up and actually enjoy the company of someone as much as with you David. Like two old friends reconnecting. Thank you for sharing.

Dan's garden is so full of stories. I must have walked past that buttonwood deadwood a hundred times and always assumed it was juniper deadwood lol. There's always more to lean from Dan

I'm in north Alabama and I leave my tridents out during winter . I had no ideal they didn't like cold weather. Is that true?
roots are just more susceptible to damage from freezing temperatures than acers or other similar trees.
