I don't think New York cities infrastructure is built for earthquakes 🙄 I'd worry about people in those tall buildings. That's a lot of people packed in so densely populated.

If that's the case, if a 4.8 magnitude quake does structural damage to an airport, that would be very concerning. In the West Coast, a 4.8 will not sure down an airport. Anyway, I'm glad everyone is okay! I hope this isn't a, "foreshock," which is an earthquake that is preceeded by an even STRONGER earthquake. A 4.8 is definitely strong enough to be felt, but not strong enough (at least it shouldn't be) to cause any structural damage.
