They learned it from an early age from their society. But it’s a double edged sword. They have the most depressing lifestyle cause they can’t express freely which turns out to be unhappy and unhealthy life.
@@S3ymirabro what are you talking about, japanese culture is some of the most rich and unique in the entire world. i think japanese people are expressing themselves just fine, just because they arent running around shooting their 12 gauge in their lifted pollution machine truck doesnt mean they dont have culture.
The whole world needs to learn discipline from Japanese people. I was staying in Japan for four months.Tsunami is the most dangerous natural phenomenon still, Japanese people and children follow all the rules they often practice. Staying calm and attending to group needs is their number one rule. In the western world end of year sales are much more chaotic than life and death situations in Japan. As a European it was extremely surreal to witness their orderly manner without showing selfish behaviours. They move quietly and wait quietly. Love them so much.
Japanese people are amazing....I can't put it into any words that can reflect just how disciplined and calm in their being they are. Blessings to the people of Japan and may this calm and all remain safe....
Thats because they will arrest you for everything. But in the US people will compliment how disciplined the Japanese are and then vote to defund the police.
To be fair, a lot of the older structures are on high ground. Not because they used to build all their buildings high up, but because those are the only ones that have survived this long, lol.
Spent a week in Japan last summer. Amazingly industrious and resilient people🇯🇵. Climbed Mt Fuji and didn't see trash on trails. No energy needlessly wasted dealing with locals who actively harm their fellow citizens (didn't see any grafitti. bicycles needn't be locked outside stores, etc). Wish at times Americans could be so unified 🇺🇸. Prayers for our great friends in Japan. Couldn't wish for better allies.
The way unification works here in Japan is they are taught at a young age to cooperate with other students to help build a better society. It’s all well and good. The issue is with the kids that don’t fit the mold. They become outcasts from their piers. Same goes for some in society. The goal is to avoid conflict so if someone ends up in a bad place it is best to leave them to what they decide is best for themselves. The problem is, this leads people to isolate themselves and eventually take their own lives. There are some things which amaze me. I once saw a drunk man almost fall onto the train tracks on the opposite side of the platform from me. It took an about a minute before anyone pulled him away from the tracks. Someone did hit the emergency stop on my side, but it was crazy to me that most seemed to chose to ignore him. As it goes: “Never interfere with someone else’s problem.” Until it becomes societies problem that is.

From Japan, we are overwhelmed by the big earthquake even 1/1. Whether we live in the nearest place hit by that, we are praying. I hope everyone is safe🙏 Today, Ishikawa Prefecture, where a major earthquake and tsunami occurred, is famous for the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, which houses numerous modern art pieces created both domestically and internationally since 1980. It is renowned as a tourist destination
What a terrifying thing to go through, especially not initially knowing whether the incoming tsunami will repeat itself from 2011. I saw in an article the biggest waves ended up only being 4 feet, and I hope it doesn't progress further. May all of you in Japan experiencing these losses and such terrifying disruption to your lives find warmth and comfort amongst the cold and damage. And may those who have passed rest in peace
Not only that, but tsunami heights are also unpredictable due to the occurrences of “silent tsunamis” - e.g. an undersea landslide may cause or even severely amplify an incoming tsunami (as is being researched by Japanese academics at the moment). Hence, why sometimes a huge 9.0 earthquake may result in a small tsunami or even none at all, while a 7.0 or even less earthquake may erupt into a massive tsunami.
I am living in Japan, and I am at a place near Nagoya.many people were celebrating and having a party, then suddenly a huge quake arrived then changed many people’s lives in just a few minutes. People got hurt, and got rescued to the hospital, but since It’s New Year’s Day,many doctors and nurses were absent from work, and it was hard for people to get treatment. So the doctors and the nurses tried to get to the hospital as fast as they could, but because of the earthquake, there were a lot of bumps on the road and ground subsidence, and most of the doctors and nurses couldn’t get to the hospital. A place that makes famous traditional lacquerware (sort of like a bowl) got totally destroyed and the Main Street got burned down by a fire. And even that is terrifying,a 1m20cm tsunami came. Many fishing boats got flipped over, and over 50 reports of people getting trapped in their collapsed houses. Even a 5-6 story Building fell to the side, and even landslides occurred. Many aftershocks occurred after this and an Emergency Earthquake Early Warning comes every 20-30minutes,although normally it only happens around 0-1 times a year normally.many stores lost everything, houses lost everything in a very short amount of time. And a major tsunami warning came for the first time in 14years. I really hope the people that lost their homes and family will be safe, and feel better.

Magnitude 7.6 is REALLY strong. many other nations would be devastated from that. But from this video, we can assume any modern buildings that are up to code withstood that earthquake. Japanese infrastructure really speaks for itself.

We japanese inhabitants are rather acustomed to frequent earthquakes usually but this which occurred on the very first day GANTAN of the year was extraordinary. After the maximum japanese seismic intensity 7, many tremors with 5 intensity occurred every 30 minutes avg for 5 hours. I live in the metropolitan area around 350km(more than 200miles) from epicentre and didn't experience such big tremors but felt terrified awesomely. I pray for the earthquake victims and may afflicted people get back home and eased.
Hi can you please tell me what happens with trains during earthquakes? I am trying to understand. People say they are calm because they are used to and building are made were well and then video mentions "train station"😮😮 what about people driving in train?
It's an Island floating in Pacific Ocean , where Earthquakes are a Part of The daily Living. When I was looking at the Statistics, it seems they get 15000 earthquakes every year and 150 Major Events Year. So every alternative day they face Earthquakes. Its the Daily Routine
Why be so paganist tho? What we are seeing is signs of the end times. The creator has given us insight as to all the events that will occur and then the great day will catch many by surprise. This is because ppl don’t take note and will go with their day to day not caring.
There are times when words cannot describe the strength of a country and the resilience of its people…this is one of those times. Of all of the countries in this world I’d love to visit, Japan is that country.
I am a high school student living in Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture. I was surprised by the sudden earthquake, and just as I thought it was over, I was hit by a second large horizontal tremor that left me motionless for several seconds. When I opened the door to my house to evacuate, I was stunned and speechless by the sight I had never seen before. Roads were cracked and raised, houses had broken glass, and some were half damaged. In my area, water is cut off, but electricity is still available. When I returned to my home near the evacuation site, I found cracks in the walls and things scattered about, but it looks as if I can still live there. I hope that there will not be another big earthquake today, and I will spend the night with a lot of nervousness and anxiety.
Dear Heavenly Father, in times of earthquake danger, I turn to You for protection. I humbly ask that You surround me with Your divine shield, keeping me safe from harm. Your strength is my refuge. Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.” I trust in Your unwavering love and care. Please safeguard me and all those in earthquake-prone areas. Amen.

They learned it from an early age from their society. But it’s a double edged sword. They have the most depressing lifestyle cause they can’t express freely which turns out to be unhappy and unhealthy life.
Because earthquakes are pretty normalized there.

In the western world end of year sales are much more chaotic than life and death situations in Japan.
As a European it was extremely surreal to witness their orderly manner without showing selfish behaviours. They move quietly and wait quietly. Love them so much.

Japans new architecture that doesn’t suffer as much damage from the waves is amazing it’s sad to see the older historical structures suffer though.
To be fair, a lot of the older structures are on high ground. Not because they used to build all their buildings high up, but because those are the only ones that have survived this long, lol.

Even in such a chaos, they didn't panic, stayed calm and collected, and were still in order. Truly admirable

Agree
Homogeneous population advantage. No social justice warriors.

The quake was much bigger in 2011 - 8.9
@@MiteshDamaniait’s was actually a 9.1
The tsunami in 2011 was 40 metres, if I remember correctly. That's a terrifying image.
@@1m1cey huge difference in energy between a 9 and 7 quake. It takes 31 of 7 magnitude quakes to make a 9 quake!
Praying for Japan. Keep safe everyone!

No looting, burglary, etc. Wonder why many of this generation of kids in the USA have no values?
Take care man, japanese people are one of the hardest working people in the world. You guys will bounce back even stronger 💪💪

May Yahuah our Father watch over you and protect you
