awesome, love it. one improvement idea: extending the kick panel toward either side, so you don't have to worry about the door panel hitting your leg when opening it
I was so confused when this came up in my subscription feed because i happened to be fiddling with these cabinets recently but originally followed you for NSX content :D cool idea!
This is super clever! I've been considering different options for a hands-free drawer. But i didnt like the feel and function of the IKEA Utrusta electric system. This also solves the issue of cabinet fronts getting smudged/worn by the foot. Just ordered the parts and looking forward to installing.
I actually had them so unsure. That said, I switched light weight bungee cords I got at Home Depot (also don’t have the link). It definitely takes some fiddling to get the right amount of rebound strength. Next BTW I want full 13 gallon slide outs. The mini (maybe 10 gallon) ones are annoying as standard kitchen bags are 13 gallon. That will be another video I guess…
Thanks so much. It appears your drawer slides are not self/soft close. I wonder if self/soft close slides could overcome the bungee and latch forces to pull the door shut.
@@Eman-hx1qw You are correct. Mine were not (only drawer that wasn’t actually). I don’t feel too much resistance on the other drawers but fiat point, it may need a bit more pull. The risk is it shooting out. My first elastic bad broke yesterday. Easy enough to swap out though.
Genius solution! I'm working on my own one similar, that's why I found you. Thank you for your content.
After using for a year, I like it even more. Would like a better spring option. At sole point I’ll upgrade it.

Yeah, sorry. I’m hardly a full time TH-camr…. My channel name should be random chaos with a nice whip…
Sweet, I’m into it!

Glad it seems to work for you. I need to get my 3D printer going to have a real kit. Been busy though. Good luck.
Hello, could you give information where you bought the latch that you installed below?
Genius. You should patent this idea and sell it.
Thanks. One day maybe…
Genius!!
What a great Idea!! Can you link the band that you used or the search terms to get this kind of band please

Where did you get the rails for the cabinets I’m look to install this same thing but I can’t find it.
Sorry, that part was there. I think they have in many places though. Good luck…
Where is the hardware from? Any link or name you can provide? Very nice solution.
Sorry, should have done that. Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007ROYO40?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Intersting!
A little ugly but a good concept I think I’m gonna try it and try to make it just look a little cleaner
