If I could, I would write a poem to express my deepest love and admiration for this magnificent band. And if the verses should convey only half of what I feel for these brilliant ladies and their music, it might still be a masterpiece. Alas - i'm not a bard. Therefore in plain words but still straight from the heart: Lovebites - my all-time favorite Metal band.
I can see why you love them so much
In this song, there is a part where they tap three times, and it is difficult to distinguish because the screen shows a close-up of each of them, but in fact all three are tapping at the same time in all three places.

We all love Lovebites here and I think it is quite safe to say that they are the best heavy metal band today. Some few may disagree, but most will actually agree. They are that good at what they do. But claiming the best music act that ever have existed? I am thinking out loud. Beatles? Bach? Iron Maiden? Segovia? ELO? Rolling Stones? .... Moreover, taste varies.

What conects these groups: easless to compose and arrangement, a lot of beautiful melodies, showcase at the stage, perfection in performence on live.😎

Your joy watching this was SO entertaining....!!!! I've watched this video well over one hundred times and EVERY TIME it gets me. Asami is totally in charge of the stage and Miyako and Midori rip those fretboards with calm abandon, while Miho on bass is head banging her way through the entire song, all the while 4'10" tall Haruna SMASHES those drums with perfection - "Little Big Engine" her nickname. 🤘🎸🐺

So this one is from 2020, when they still had their original bassist Miho. The other LOVEBITES vids you've seen were from 2022 and 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Believe it or not, that little bass-tapping section you saw from Miho in this one (actually all three are doing the tapping thing in sync all three times, but the camera just focuses on one at a time), well, Fami is even better at it (no knock on Miho, she is still amazing)! What a true professional Miho is that she could play through that song while being so visibly hurting. Asami was emotional as well.

Yes, totally agree about Haruna. It's so easy to overlook her with her being so small. She disappears behind those drums, but as you say, she is the engine that keeps it all together and driving forward. Up until I found this band, had someone asked me my favourite drummers, I would have listed names such as Keith Moon, John Bonham and Neil Peart. Today I would have to add Haruna to my list. The Little BIG Engine 🐺 ❤

The keyboards are on the backing track, played by guitarist Miyako, she is a concert level pianist. There are several songs where she plays the piano, keyboard or keytar LIVE!

It can often get a bit annoying when reactors pause a video every other second, but with you I don't mind it at all. Your enthusiasm is so infectious. It's so plainly visible that you love seeing new and cool shit and you love these bands, it's beautiful :) keep pausing and rewinding and pointing out and laughing! and keep the Lovebites videos coming, there so much more to discover! They do some backing track work, most of the time that is something on keys aid down by Miyako before she took up guitar she did piano from age 3 and even did competitions. She is one with the natural hair.

How are they not bigger than they are.......????? The burning question that the Wolfpack (fanbase) asked every time. Since 2017 I can't understand how and why metal-heads and music lovers in general can't or won't acknowledge the insane talent in this band. Each album, each LP each MV and every LIVE performance is epic and yet they only recently crossed the 100K followers mark on YT, while the new bassist, Fami had over 600K YT followers when she auditioned for the band. Forget women, forget metal, these musicians are world class talented and maybe the new world tour this year finally wakes the rest of the music world up!!!!

if you want some of their thrashier stuff check out the songs "Hammer Of Wrath", "Dissonance", Thunder Vengance", "MDO", "Set The World On Fire", "Break The Wall", there is also "Soldier Stands Solitarily", and "We Are The Resurrection" both of which are more a combination of Power Metal and Thrash

These ladies really know how to put a song together, the style of Lovebites is everything goes it's amazing to hear & their live shows are incendiary if you want to hear key's in a #Lovebites song may I suggest a Frozen Serenade it is on my classic list of songs that go way back to my youth in the late seventies.

Nice Reaction! This is what I would call a Hit by Brother Firetribe. Anette had one with the band Pain as well called "Follow Me" which I believe might have been a bit bigger. Spot on, bigger stage 1000%! No disrespect but the level they're playing at (every F song) is head and shoulders above most in their genre. First off, the speed they play at is ridiculous and then to harmonize at that speed perfectly...insane, and they do it for 90-120mins straight. Haruna's a beast behind the kit at 4' 9". Physical stature alone, they range from 4' 9" to 5' 2"...that has to take a toll on you stamina-wise, at this pace??!! Sabbath, Zeppelin, Purple started metal, Priest, Maiden, Big 4 perfected it, and now Lovebites has spun it on its head, strapped a backpack of C4 to it, and blown it into oblivion. They are the gold standard in today's metal community, imho. 🤘

@Amiekinz4ever You should check out Set The World On Fire live 2021 for Testament like thrash gallops or Thunder Vengeance live 2020, show opener reminiscent of 80s Metallica opening and the triplets are as good as James if not better! Both songs feature former bassist / band cofounder Miho. These ladies are metal AF🤘

Wow - I didn't expect you to even know who Deliverance were, let alone be a fan of them. (I see you're a Pastor, so that makes sense now). Even though their music is simple, its pure thrash which I love. I was a big fan of them in my teens and twenties. Decades later, I still enjoy their music, but my opinon of them plummeted when they released the 1991 album "What a Joke", as the title song contains blatantly homophobic lyrics.
In terms of musicianship and songwriting, LOVEBITES are about 3 levels above anything Deliverance ever released.
I've not heard that album and yeah, I don't understand why people are homophonic. Love God, love people. That's where I'm at.
@@Amiekinz4ever If you are a fan of Deliverance, then you obviously like thrash. You should definitely check out LOVEBITES doing thrash then, because they do it as well (or better) than any of the legendary thrash bands, like Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, (early) Metallica.
