A well written argument, skillfully delivered. A tip of the hat to the prosecutor.

    Great job by this prosecutor
The court should ask itself if he would want this person around THEIR family if he ever gets released.
    End of story.

I just finished a case where a murderer talked his way out of isolation into general public where he proceeded to kill again. And again and made attempt to kill another. General population is not for murders

It’s so wrong that Chris Watts is enjoying his life behind bars in general population… but I think he won’t last long because someone is going to give him prison justice and do to him what he did to his own family

This guy is a complete psycho. He is obsessed with killing and death. He should never ever walk amongst normal people again. The risk is too great. He can't stop. He knows what he's doing and he understands the consequences. Put this disturbed piece of garbage away forever. My heart goes out to these poor, traumatised parents. May the outcome of this trial bring some closure for them.

Why is his lawyer rolling her eyes at the prosecutor, who the hell does she think she is. He already plead guilty, why does she care if he stays in prison. She should want that too. That woman is nuts, and should not represent anyone who murders. She knows the truth, yet being so disrespectful to the families by doing that, when the prosecutor has worked so hard delivering this closing. She's got huge mental issues herself acting that way In court over a kid that she knows very well tortured and killed others. Shame on you for acting that way in front of grieving families and concerned citizens.

What parents in their right mind would buy a child a weapon like this?… knowing that he was struggling with depression and anxiety, disgusting behavior and they are as guilty and need to be punished for this behavior

Parents, keep your children far away from guns, internet, and video games. Especially if they are struggling mentally. We didn't have children obsessed with violence and torture 40 years ago. What do you thing happened? Connect the dots! If you are too lazy to oarent, just don't have children and enjoy your life.

  • @tammiedonnelly2676

I can’t say how I would feel if one of these children were mine. I always say I have to be in the position before I could say what I would do. Anyway what this child did was totally horrendous. But when I look at him and I listened to the stories of his disgusting parents it breaks my heart. I’m sure most people will not agree and that’s ok. I just look at him and he looks so sad and defeated. Hell his parents have never been by his side. After the tragic incident they ran away and hid. Yes he deserves to be punished, I honestly think a life sentence in jail for him will end in suicide. He needs to spend a significant amount of time in a mental institution where he can get help. He needs to be shown at some point that he is a child who deserved love at some point in his life. I truly do not believe he ever was. I truly hope and pray that his parents who neglected him, never sought any kind of help for him. Then buy him a gun!! It was like they were setting their own son to do something criminal. God bless the victims and their families. God bless Ethan🙏

    • @cvx5422
      @cvx5422 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

You must be a parent, as am I. It is so so heartbreaking to hear how he was neglected and let down by his parents. It’s such a difficult case because if I were a parent of one of the victims I would want to jump over the bench and throttle the life out of him. On the other hand there are children who grow up in much much worse circumstances than this kid.
What makes me the saddest is I feel if his parents had only taken the time to give him the very basic love and nurturing this may not have happened.
It’s horrible for all, however excruciating for the parents who lost their children.
Especially knowing that if ONLY his parents would have consistently pulled the reins in with their child, spent time and patience like they did with their precious horses this may not have happened.

Miller Factor 3 - circumstances of the homicide, the juveniles role, and whether there were other actors involved.
Prosecutor: “not this situation - he was the only actor”
“… oh wait… we the people are actually going to charge another two people with involuntary manslaughter (a sub category of homicide) in this case.”
YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS MICHIGAN. Either Ethan is solely responsible or there were in fact mitigating factors and other culpable individuals.

She changed her mind about this specific kid based on these specific circumstances. Furthermore it's up to the judge to sentence, she just makes the recommendation.

He let the teacher live..there you go...that makes him able to choose good choices and bad. That definitely makes him pure evil, and able to distinguish right from wrong. It was targeted shooting. Do you know the facts, probably not.
