So this is one of the best things GG ever recorded. It’s one of those stick to your ribs kind of songs. The first few times you listen to it you’re like “woah that’s GG alright”. Then a couple months later you’re walking down the street whistling or humming some tune and you just can’t place it.?.Then you figure it out and you laugh and LOVE it. Because if it was a different band playing the exact same song note for note but different lyrics it would be a radio hit because it’s one of the catchiest songs ever written. But nope you’re walking down the street whistling to expose yourself to kids.
Exactly!! Sometimes you're actually whistling the tune of woody Guthrie. Then realized that it was actually an old slave chain gang song from back before records and sound equipment had ever been invented!!

Humans are funny in that way. They will attempt to immortalize someone who has zero musical talent & has to poop himself on stage to gain any type of fame. He didn't start doing "shock value" until the last years of his "musical career". He knew he sucked. He knew he had to rip off The Misfits, David Bowie & Iggy Pop.. with a stinky twist.
This was put out in the few years I knew GG, was always decent to me and will NEVER say anything bad about him...Hopefully the mind can finally rest-this ep was one of his better works, subjects aside-some of the tunes are actually catchy, nobody will ever be like him, as it should be...
Wanted to get him on my insignificant record label back then, he moved to Chicago and wanted me in his band at one point, prime reason was b/c I was a pretty strong motherfucker...I miss those days all the time.

Gypsy Motherfucker is my favorite on this but yeah every track rules, one of my favorite GG releases for sure. I love his vocals on this and freaks, f,drunks& Junkies but I love pretty much everything he did, " I am up our enemy, war in my head" is possibly my least favorite record but some of my favorite artwork lol😂

The amount of people who say they supposedly saw gg in his shit eating prime is more than the actual gigs he played. That said GG was in Rock and Roll bands for over a decade. GG was in the Jabbers before the Murder Junkies as well as a slew of projects he even did something with MC5 guitarist and bassist. GG just didnt care in action and lyrics. GG was in a few bands with and without his brother Merle. Both him and Merle were rock and roll to the core.
