How can a science subject such as psychology which is predicated on research possibly incorporate god into the classroom? I’d be willing to talk to someone about this if you’re interested?

Accepting God does not mean accepting the Bible as the only source of knowledge that should ever be tried to obtain. Depending on the school of thought, Psychology may even accentuate understanding of God's purpose etc.

That would be using psychology to understand religion. I’m question the use of god to understand psychology. This is a Christian predicated university, and they almost always reference passages from the bible during lectures. It baffles me.

@@theoveractivebrain4936 Quoting verses does not necessarily imply using God to understand psychology. Rather, by referencing the passage, they may be attempting to show the effectiveness/truth in certain psychological concepts.

Why use the bible for that? Why reference quotes from a book of fiction? This is my point really. Science can be explained by itself using logic, reason, trial and error. Using literally made up quotes to explain, support, describe, prove psychological concepts is a bit far fetched. I feel it maybe being used to show how modern science endorsed religion by saying “look, even 2000 years on the bible is correct by this example here .......... “
If you’re open to it, I’d like to talk to you about this if you feel there is something I’m missing. I have a TH-cam channel that I use to talk to various interesting/controversial people. I’m not a troll. I’m a curious trainee scientist.

@@theoveractivebrain4936 I see. Well I think the incoherency that you see in using the Bible to explain or correlate a scientific concept mainly because you assume that the Bible is a book of fiction. I think perhaps you should read further more on the historical evidences perhaps of the Bible etc.
I would love to talk to you about this.
