Sometimes when you're a pastor you have to be careful because satan can distract you and deceive you to think that you understand the biblical Grace that saves, which it's been led by the Holy Spirit, so that sin will not have dominion over us, so that we can resist temptation like Jesus, the enemy will caused us to write books to lead other people astray, as people always want to read man-made stuff, yet don't want to obey the Bible which is the first and most important
I wasn't seeking to meet someone, I was wholly focused on my calling and fully in love with the Lord. I was completely deceived, and ended up marrying this man and he was extremely abusive. A complete distraction from my call. I ignored my gut, and listened to other believers. I was a widow with 5 children and I guess they wanted me to be cared for. I never had peace about it, but I ignored my own feelings.
Wow! My friend sent this to me at perfect timing.. I ran into an ex from 10 years ago over the weekend and it was like I was immediately transported back to when I was a 21 year old. 😮 To make a long story short, I’ve done too much growing to let old flings rise back up again. This was so good!
Yes, but He gifts us all with it. Many learn through trauma to ignore it...comes with abuse. For me, I was hyper vigilent to it.......just turned against it in the early phase of my youth but never again after I never turned it down with a patient (I'm a nurse)

This happened to me literally within the last two weeks. I believe the enemy was trying to capitalize on me having neglected my walk with God. Fortunately it took less than two months of going out with this man to see things for what they were. God is too good to us, protecting us even from our own poor choices...

Because they will bring you down and the devil will try to kill, steal and destroy your well being through anyone who isn't filled with the Holy Spirit. If they don't live by Jesus, they are their own god and play by their own rules. That is not safe and is causing so much heartache. It's bad enough with followers of Christ who struggle, but real ones will repent, be sorry, try and try again to be better. I have a great relationship with the Lord. A man introduced himself to me at a mall & asked to go for a coffee some time. I gave him my phone number. I know the holy spirit warned me about him. He called. I didn’t answer. He didn’t wait for it to go to voicemail. I interpreted that as impatience. A month or so later i called him & asked him to meet for coffee. I had reservations about him. He wanted me to go on a trip with him right away. He was pushy. I thought my good behavior would be good for him & he would come to church. I suspected him of stealing from me. That should have been the deal breaker. I continued on. He was nothing but frustration all the way. No peace. I finally told him not to call me again. Thank God.

I had a boyfriend who was training to be a pastor but was recently divorced with his wife of almost 20 years. This video really spoke to me. I’ve been trying to get closer to God over a year ago and always ends bad falling and standing up all over again leaving me empty. This time few days ago I was tempted to fall again with someone I was staring to get attached to . For months he dissapeared and suddenly (while I’m trying to be right w God ) he comes back to me making me feel anxious and doubting myself asking me to disobey God (not being pure/celibate) and if I do so we can be in a relationship. I almost felt but idk how I didn’t fall and hold gods hand even more bc the enemy knows that’s my weakness bc I always feel lonely in my heart . All I want is God to fill my heart so much that I don’t have to look in the wrong places seeking for “love” in ppl that just leave me empty and depressed and take away my value . I’ve never felt God but my sprit is thirsty for Him , I’ve ignored him too many times pray for me so this time I will find him and never leave his hand . it's oversimplification to say it's "our fault we got distracted" .....we act out of our subconsciousness from childhood wounds and traumas. Sin, yes, that our fault. Inherited sin and abuse, trauma, is not.

The Lord gave me discernment early and by God’s grace and mercy, I got out. I want to slow down and heal in this time. I realized that I bled and got taken advantage of by a shark. My low self esteem and infatuation blinded me to God’s discernment and wisdom. But praise God he gave me people to call me out and my heart came around to the discernment he sent. May I get over my ex before I go into the next. Please heal me Jesus!!!

I have a great relationship with the Lord. A man introduced himself to me at a mall & asked to go for a coffee some time. I gave him my phone number. I know the holy spirit warned me about him. He called. I didn’t answer. He didn’t wait for it to go to voicemail. I interpreted that as impatience. A month or so later i called him & asked him to meet for coffee. I had reservations about him. He wanted me to go on a trip with him right away. He was pushy. I thought my good behavior would be good for him & he would come to church. I suspected him of stealing from me. That should have been the deal breaker. I continued on. He was nothing but frustration all the way. No peace. I finally told him not to call me again. Thank God.
No peace is a red flag.. Especially if you were peaceful before him

I had a boyfriend who was training to be a pastor but was recently divorced with his wife of almost 20 years. He said his therapist cleared him to have another relationship but he kept on complaining about his ex-wife. After a year I realized that our relationship was a rebound.

10 years ago I married my soul tie….today I’m reaping what I sowed coz my wife doesn’t walk with the Lord, doesn’t have a relationship with the Lord. She has mounted up debt 3 times within our marriage each time I was told won’t happen again. Found out that there’s still massive amounts of debt. Before we were married she was involved in Church and reading the bible and walking with God but the last 4 years nothing

This video really spoke to me. I’ve been trying to get closer to God over a year ago and always ends bad falling and standing up all over again leaving me empty. This time few days ago I was tempted to fall again with someone I was staring to get attached to . For months he dissapeared and suddenly (while I’m trying to be right w God ) he comes back to me making me feel anxious and doubting myself asking me to disobey God (not being pure/celibate) and if I do so we can be in a relationship. I almost felt but idk how I didn’t fall and hold gods hand even more bc the enemy knows that’s my weakness bc I always feel lonely in my heart . All I want is God to fill my heart so much that I don’t have to look in the wrong places seeking for “love” in ppl that just leave me empty and depressed and take away my value . I’ve never felt God but my sprit is thirsty for Him , I’ve ignored him too many times pray for me so this time I will find him and never leave his hand . No more sleepless nights w darkness and bad spirits living in me . I’ll seek him all days of my life .
