A mother is regarded as an angel, the pillar of a family and the apple of a child's eye, a father is regarded as a provider and a protector. How often do you hear somebody say "don't forget to call and check on your mum"? I've never once in my entire life heard "make sure to call and check on your dad" There's many exceptions of course, but for the vast majority of people this is the reality. Men are ok with this, because hard work for the sake of those you care about is a reward in itself, but it's unbelievably hurtful when that effort is taken for granted.

Men are made fun of and projected to look as if they wouldn’t be able to tie their shoes without their wives help. This is so offensive. It is so opposite of what a true man is like. To make the injustice even worse, men are labeled with titles like toxic masculinity. The truth is, men just want to be good providers for their family. “Most” men would prefer to bring in enough income so that their wife does not have to work. Men do this out of love.

Seriously, skilled labor is majorly under appreciated. Everyone always forgets until something breaks. A restaurant owner I was working with kept complaining about how he shouldn’t have to do things or pay things and how I needed to stop bothering him because he pays his taxes. “You work for me!” Well I told him exactly why I needed to do the work and he didn’t listen. Ended up with a sewer overflow and fine for failing to maintain his restaurant’s plumbing. There are other times where people want to scrap. Like dude I’m not trying to screw you, I’m trying to let you know that something is wrong so you avoid a bigger problem.
Yes men necessary. But being a man doesn't necessary mean only one thing. The point of questioning masculinity is to give men the choice of who they want to be, and give them more than just one model to follow and identify with.
as a truck driver this hits real hard. I work 14 hours a day, I am essential to the economy yet everyone hates me. I can never find a place to park and sleep for the night. I am fined thousands of dollars if I drive longer than the government allows. I have to provide for my family
nobody ask if women are necessary bcz of the birth and all but we have to acknowledge how men figure in our lives are important too.. how they do hard work to feed their family... nobody expect mother to work and feed the family but it's a responsibility which is inherently given to father. Have respect to both and then you can say you have achieved equality otherwise you're just spreading hate for other gender.
