Cool to see they adding some references of Arena on these events, like the fact that Akihiko decided to travel after School to improve his fighting and thinking about becoming a Police Office in the future.
@@animedude834 Trinity Soul is canon in its own timeline. It is an alternate timeline of events. Much like how P3P is an alternate timeline with a Female MC. It is canon. Just not Mainline Canon. Calling it "Non-Canon" is kind of an insult to the hard work. Just wave a hand and state it is an "Alternate Timeline". Much like how comicbooks wave a hand and claim X Event happened on another version of a Planet. Multiverse Exists and can have stories with characters that break off from the baseline. Something simply "Non-Canon" would mean it was deleted and no sources of those events never existed. Strange thing is. They do exist and in turn, they are "Canon" just within their own timeline of events. Much like all the endings. They are Canon. But they are the worse outcomes over the True Ending.
Honestly really sick that they had Kurosawa(Liam O'Brien) function as a mentor figure to Akihiko in these link episodes. Doubly so since the voice direction for Aki in Reload seems to favor more Midorikawa's interpretation of the character, so hearing O'Brien telling Aki to be less hot headed is a cool meta reference. Also glad they kept the protein memes/references to a tasteful minimum.
There's a handful of kinda cringe protein lines in Tartarus dialogues unfortunately but I guess you'd only hear them if you were literally doing nothing but running around. Still they know the memes and I kinda wish they didn't beat a dead joke over our heads at all.
@@7evanTo be fair, that's actually how he was in the original Japanese version, the original English version took out most of the protein talk, Reload is just a more faithful translation this time so you end up with a more accurate depiction of the character.

@@flaminginferno6641 just cause it's more faithful doesn't exactly mean it's good. Reload already made a bunch of changes that comes with the territory of remake regardless of what the original intention of the source material was like adding FES content as well as content clearly inspired from portable, QOL improvements from P5 and even stuff like removing the trans woman from the Yakushima trip so clearly they were willing to make changes where necessary so why keep Aki so protein/workout obsessed beyond just casual talk? This is exactly what I disliked about future Persona games when it came to writing character traits, a character has one interest and that's all they ever are in optional content separate from the main story. Chie likes Meat and Kung-fu, Kanji's a little confused about his sexuality now and again, Rise is down bad for Yu, Aki is that friend who won't shut up about their workout routine, Ruiji is the butt of every joke even when he doesn't deserve it, Makoto is the fun police, Yusuke is poor and hungry - you get the idea. Real people are more than just one trope you know? The P3 gang is actually evidence of it when you look at their character arcs. Ah well better than PQ writing atleast
I chose the "Let me see it" option for Episode 4 and... it made my heart stop. Because MC hanged the medal around Akihiko's neck! That made the "I did it, Miki" line hit so much harder.
I feel like if Akihiko were to have a daughter in the future, he would be so overprotective of her, especially with what happened to her sister. I'm so glad they added these linked episodes so we can get to know the non-SL characters better
Honestly, I'd give that distinction to our main character. There were about 11 guys and Akihiko told Makoto to run. No dialogue choice, Makoto was ready to throw hands to help his friend.
When the pan gets too hot, the pancakes will burn. To bring the pan's temperature back down, you can put the hot pan on top of the damp washcloth before putting the pan back on the stove and continuing to cook the pancakes.

And he actually did become one in P3 trinity soul but nobody talks about that anime anymore.

Nah, they threatened Yukari so these hands are rated E for everyone.
