Where will the money come from, the tooth fairy?
When you grow GDP you grow taxes too, that's all you need. The UK will GROW with the right leaders in power. The UK has a shortage of 4 million homes, building that, freeing up construction spending = easy easy growth of GDP. Developed countries only need like 2% GDP growth per year so that is all you need for a healthy economy. The UK is around 0.6% so you need another 1.4%. A boom in construction of homes could easily be 1% that is 50% of GDP growth you need to unlock. The Conservatives could not unlock that as their constituents are made of people who are scared of change but not the left, they can now unlock growht.
That and fixing the leaks that let the rich get away with 0.4% taxes like Mr Sunak. Not raising the taxes but rather reducing the ways the rich avoid them. Things can only get better!
Yeah, since he’s been in, we’ve had more migrants that’s a good start
wait, what do you expect them to do about that in less than a week?!
new puppet = old puppet
