9 years ago, I was 14. I was a freshman in high school. I had just really been introduced to the internet. My dad sat the family down to watch a funny video on TH-cam: "Will it Taco?"
I remember cry laughing on the floor when they brought out the pine needles. Idk why but it was absolutely hilarious to me. That very concept of grown men eating pine needles stuffed dry into a taco shell started my love for GMM. 9 years holy cow. I watch this stuff while I make dinner and my roommates often say "omg i remember them!" Thank you, weird internet uncles and team. Thank you.

That’s awesome! I was a Mythical Beastie ever since I was 12 in middle school and was bored out of my mind and I found the internet thanks to these guys (R + L) I’ve been watching ever since. I’m now in college and they’ve been with me thru so many life transitions, no matter what happens, GMM will always be constant thing I can look forward to! ☺️

If anyone, for reasons I can't possibly imagine, decides to make this recipe, I recommend doing it in the spring or early summer and only using the tips of the branches. That's where the new growth happens, and they will be reasonably tender and less likely to make Josh's worst nightmare happen to you in real life.

And educational and all that 😂

I hope Rhett and Link also got to try these. And I hope they have a revisit Will It episode like this where they try the original versus the elevated version. Not necessarily a Will It (unless it's like a... Will It "IMPROVE" episode haha 😅) but yeah. I dunno. That's what their great minds are for 😅😅😅😅 I just want to see how they can improve the old food, and see Rhett and Link eat it 😜

I'm a mythical beast that's a neurologist. What you experienced is a normal phenomenon called "inattentional blindness". Perhaps worse in those with ADHD.... 👀
It was not a salient stimulus for the first 10 steps so then your attention turns to needing it and it just a part of the background as far as your brain is concerned and is not registered as an object you need. Especially if you have minimal use of the spice grinder your brain will just say "No that's just some cup". The longer something spends in your inattention (Not addressed by your conscious need) the harder It is to bring it into attention when it does become useful.
