"This is in your back pocket" sums up to yet another useful addition to the range of addressing these issues. Real world solutions for real world problems working RE photogs can face regularly so many thanks for sharing.
I admire your work very much and also your clear and concise explanations. This color correction lesson is very helpful. Just curious though, you don't use a color checker or Spyder Color Checker in your workflow. It obviously is unnecessary, but why? I shoot vast church interiors and use a Spyder Checker. I correct color "spills" differently, but your method or ditection and correction will be helpful. Many thanks!
Thanks! To your question: As I mentioned in the video, color temp and balance will vary greatly throughout an interior space, so using color checkers or gray cards provide little assistance for accurate colors throughout a space. Second, time is of the essence doing real estate photography, so using physical color aids of any type will soak up valuable time. Since a color checker or gray card aren't reliable for interiors, the time spent using them is not worth it. Instead, there are numerous, faster ways to deal with this in post, which I cover in my course Expert Editing for Interior Photography, here's a link if you'd like to check that out: ExpertEditing.NathanCool.com
