Misty shares these videos with such precision and is so relaxed and calm in teaching tutorials. This is a pretty sweet pattern with no Y seams...Thanks Misty❤
Love the baby size of this quilt - (36x39)! I sew baby quilts for the hospital, and I am always resizing quilt patterns - to as close, as I can to this size. This way, I don't have to piece an extra width for the backing, which makes it so much easier. Lovely pattern and so interesting how you added the cuddle into some of the blocks. Great tutorial, Misty!
Well, I’m halfway through The video and I want to thank Misty for explaining about how to use a larger square up ruler to square up blocks! I do have a collection of square up rulers (!) but I dint think there is actually one measuring 7 inches (I’d probably have it if there was one😄😄😄). This is really good info for everyone on how to get the most out of the rulers we already have. Thank you Misty for showing how to do this!!!!!!😇😇
I’m a weird-o I guess as I saw HST which I’m pretty good at (amazing to me!!!) but then I started watching Misty and I can absolutely go with her way of adding the side triangles. My quilt guild makes quilt for children in crisis so I would use more colorful fabrics but this is a perfect size for what we need. Thanks Misty for another really nice and easy to make quilt!!!!!
Great idea to add cuddle fabric on the front - always thought it's a bit wasted on the reverse of pieced quilts! My mind is whirling with ideas to add more texture. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the feel of cuddle on the back of a quilt. I do it often. I grew up in Minnesota where it’s very cold and my mom made heavy quilts to keep us warm 😊
This is a cute quilt. I did one with the middle square being a panda print. and the corners being solid. it turned out real sweet. and it was also a baby quilt. The recipient loved it. I have never used the shape flex or cuddle fabric. but it does sound interesting.
It's still a flying geese because of the way it was constructed. But, I think she's calling it a half block because it's half block of the square in a square
I wish you would have made this video last year because my grandson wanted a tumbling blocks quilt for his birthday and I did it the old way which was sewing verticals rows and it was so hard to match up seams. This looks much easier.
I really like the quilt that you show in the intro that you have on your lap, have you ever shown how to make that one. If so could you please direct me to it. This baby quilt is great thank you!
I so enjoyed your tutorial, Misty❣️ Great baby quilt and I love that you added Cuddle to front and backed it too. I can't tell from the tutorial, but did you do a self binding with Cuddle used on back?
Hi Misty, love your videos. I am wondering if you have a tutorial and/or video for the quilt on your lap which is 12 seconds into the intro of this video ? Thank you.
I have always wanted to make one of these quilts (Jenny called it Rhombus, others called it tumbling block). This is the easiest way to do it. But I'd like to use larger blocks to make a quilt for my queen size bed. Any suggestions? Is it as easy as doubling the size of the squares?
I love the way it went together. Please mention that your iron rises up so new folk don't think that you are leaving a hot iron sitting on your pressing surface.
These Oliso irons are fabulous!!!!! I have one - boight before Jenny had them - and they are so handy. I’d get one from MSQC if I didn’t have one already -love the colors!!!!
That's the answer I was looking for as well. It looks like the MSQC logo. I love it with the white, but wonder what the pattern or tutorial for that one is called.
I think this tutorial would be a bit more helpful if you had actually shown sewing the cuddle in the block which is the part we all need help with. Otherwise great tutorial!😍😍
Cute quilt, wish your videos could be long enough to lay out complete row. Always feel like they chop off before you finish....we need more finish!!! Thank you.
I like her tutorials, but the intro to this series is so unnatural. They tried too hard to portray a perfect wholesome family and I don't even get why. It has nothing to do with quilting. Why does a persons personal life always have to become part of tutorials?
Brilliant block. Love it. I love the cuddle in there as well.
Such a cute quilt! Perfect size for the quilts our guild donates to Emergency Infant Services!
This makes a lovely baby quilt! I'm eager to sew this quilt for our Pregnancy Lifeline support group.
Misty shares these videos with such precision and is so relaxed and calm in teaching tutorials. This is a pretty sweet pattern with no Y seams...Thanks Misty❤
Good Evening Misty, I Love This ❣️❣️❣️👍
Thank You So Much, 🥰 Chris
Misty you are so beautiful inside and out. Love that you have your own channel now!
I would have never picked those colors. The colors are so beautiful. A nice choice for a baby's room.
Love this simple block and the great impact it has. Who doesn’t love cuddle?
I love the addition of the milky. Thank you for the tips

Oh this is a sweet quilt
Very cute baby quilt. Thank you for this tutorial.
Beautiful baby quilt. I'm sure the no "Y" seams will😊 be a hit 🎉

This is a really cute pattern.
Very cute, and great to fussy cut for the 'square' on point. Thanks Misty and team. Hugs,Chel 🌸
❤prefect quilt pattern!!!!

Good job misty
That's a neat way to do it. Thank you for sharing this 😊
Genius😊
Oooh very cute
Awesome tutorial. Thanks Misty 💜
Once again you make is look so easy. Lovely pattern. have always wanted to make a tumbling block quilt. Thank you so much.
I do love this quilt! It’s nice you didn’t have to make half-square triangles! The cuddle is such a cute addition for a baby!
Oh, I agree! I like this method so much better 😊😊
Never even thought to add the stabilizer to the minky. Now that’s a game changer.
This is the first time I have ever heard a flying goose block called a half block. Such a cute quilt!
It's not a true flying geese. Others it would 3.5 x 7, not 3 3/4
Essentially it’s a half of the other block she was making. Just with an added seam allowance. So that’s why she called it a half-block.
It's still a flying geese because of the way it was constructed. But, I think she's calling it a half block because it's half block of the square in a square
@@redhen689 agreed
It's a "half block" because it's half of one of the blocks used in this quilt. At about 8:50 she does call it "basically a flying geese unit."
That was AMAZING Misty! I can’t wait to try it! Thanks!!
This is such a cute quilt. Thanks Misty.
I love this block! I sew want to try it but there are sew many I want to do I just can't decide!, LOVE MSQC!!❤😊❤

Such a great idea to add the cuddle for texture! ❤ Love it!
Beautiful quilt. I will certainly be making this quilt. Thank you for your tutorials 😊
So cute and you make it look so easy !! Thank you !
Lovely and looks easy too, thanks!
Great video!! Thank you❣️❣️
Cute pattern!
I really like the quilt that you show in the intro that you have on your lap, have you ever shown how to make that one. If so could you please direct me to it. This baby quilt is great thank you!
Thank you so much 🎉
I love that a special ruler isn't needed.
I so enjoyed your tutorial, Misty❣️ Great baby quilt and I love that you added Cuddle to front and backed it too. I can't tell from the tutorial, but did you do a self binding with Cuddle used on back?

Yes it is. I used that method to put 6.5” block on point. Use the same size of your block to make the blocks you cut into triangles.
How do you iron the Shape Flex on the Minky?
❤❤❤
Misty, which Babylock model are you using?
Do you have this pattern for twin size?
I love the way it went together. Please mention that your iron rises up so new folk don't think that you are leaving a hot iron sitting on your pressing surface.

Where can I purchase the grid wall you have the quilt mounted on? Thank you!
Great idea, but not sure about beige for babies. I heard somewwhere they can't see these tasteful pastels at a young age.
Where can I get the Cuddle?
Hi Misty! Does anyone know what quilt pattern Misty features in her intro? At 0:13!
That's the answer I was looking for as well. It looks like the MSQC logo. I love it with the white, but wonder what the pattern or tutorial for that one is called.
Did she quilt it thru the cuddle?
I think this tutorial would be a bit more helpful if you had actually shown sewing the cuddle in the block which is the part we all need help with. Otherwise great tutorial!😍😍
What is the name of the larger hanging quilt?
That caught my eye too!
Cute quilt, wish your videos could be long enough to lay out complete row. Always feel like they chop off before you finish....we need more finish!!! Thank you.
Ummmmmm?????
If you are ironing on the shape flex but can't iron the seams???
Wish you guys did videos like Jordan Fabric
Ads every 2 minutes are so annoying. Love the quilt.
That’s the price we pay for free tutorials. I’ll tolerate the ads to save having to pay to watch.
You guys have the blurriest videos on you tube.
