Keep the 5.7 badges! Sleeper is way cooler. People that see u on the street and see 6.5 397 will think it’s a 392 or a poser 392. That’s just my take on it though.

But the hellcat body inside and out is the same as the r/t? It’s the motor that you pay for that makes it different than the models under it. Hellcat swap makes that car a hellcat, can’t argue that
@@Oneillnn you couldn't be more wrong, the hellcat is built around the engine. To put a hellcat engine in an rt you have to upgrade basically everything else in the car to be able to handle that power. These dodges may look the same on the outside but they are completely different vehicles.

Regarding the badge, go back to the stock hemi badge that comes on the RTs. I wouldn't put any engine size designation on it and keep it a sleeper.
I was kicking around the idea of having Hemi & R/T Life under it - we will see. I like the idea of people not knowing what I have under that Killer bee hood.

I'd keep the 5.7 badge. Technically it is a 5.7 stroked. That being said I stroked and cammed a 3.0 Vulcan V6. It is now a 3.3 but no one needs to know. 😉

Its your car you paid for it your building it it’s not up to anyone else to dictate what you do with your hard earned money and your build if you want to keep the 5.7 keep it. You have to worry about what you want cause no matter what you do someone will always complain about something so do what makes you happy bud 👍👍

People make a big fuss over the yellow front chin covers that most people don't take off. Frankly I think they took cool. And the same for your car as far as badging. Keeping your old badging doesn't make your car any less cooler. You do you!! As far as the Durango goes, those trucks will have a cool factor that the Chargers and Challenger don't. That is rarity. They are cool and stand out. Don't get me wrong, I like them all but the added factor of standing out in something different is a step above and is winning in a different way. That's why I've kept my modded SS/T Ram. There is no shortage of compliments and it really gets noticed. If only I could go back in time I would've gotten a SRT-8 Magnum in a color of my choosing to add with my Notchback Foxbody, and Ram. The added benefit is IF or when a person choose to sell down the road, the person who has the car that is not only cool, but also rare, they will sell first and get more!

I think the 5.7L badges make it a fun sleeper. It's def not an accurate representation of what's under the hood but I think that's the point. Make people butt hurt that try flexing

My buddy used to have a mustang gt with a cobra motor swap...It was hilarious to see the look on ppls faces when they rolled up on a-little 4.6l SOHC badged GT mustang only to get gapped lol. Keep the original badging bro and keep up the good work!

I agree keep the 5.7 badge on it even though the engine is heavily modified but the block itself is a 5.7 by heart and that is what surprises a lot of people in the streets not knowing that she's a sleeper. 🇺🇸🤘👍

I literally forgot dodge made a 392 Durango until I saw one today on the highway for the first time in a very very long time. Then I see your video of this SRT Durango on my feed today. Very weird but also incredible. As far as the badging goes, if it was me in your shoes I would definitely get a custom badge made. Just because of the original factor. 1 of 1 badge
These 392 Durangos are super rare - at least around me so I can def see why it would be easy to forget. T'm considering a custom badge now that says Hemi & R/T Life under it. Still a sleeper

I say either leave the current badge on or if you want a refresh, get the black hemi badge the 5.7s come with from factory to keep that “sleeper” look. Either way car would still look sick 👍

Honestly in my opinion if your taking off the 5.7 badge I would just debadge the whole ride. Other than that I’d leave it. But that’s just my opinion. It’s a sick build no matter what

You need to check out my Durango RT. Going to mod the engine pretty soon. But I do have that aggressive look and I just converted my 2014 into a 2020 SRT look

Durango is sweet. We just got a 2020. She inspired me to get the flares and the front spoiler-i was really wondering what it would look like but it looks great on hers. I’m thinking I’ll do the carbon fiber ones on mine though. Mine is the dark granite color so the carbon fiber would look good (i think) but i really do like hers body colored though. This stuff gets confusing. But as far as your badge-you should get a custom badge made up of your R/T with the bee (that you use in these videos) and maybe incorporate ‘life’ into it. That’s your stamp man!

I was thinking many Hemi in black & R/T Life replacing 5.7 Liter - I really like people not knowing what I have
not a fan of what's going on in the fender department, literally parachutes with them mounted all tilt back and the gap on the front bumper side lip to fender flare .
LOVE the color choice of the wheels, they go well with that color code.
res delete sounds a little quieter than my mid muffler delete, but no pops 🤫

My opinion either take the badge off or display what you have. Too much stuff on the Durango it starts to look tacky. I like the clean look for the most part.
