- Dodge Durango RT Hellcat Wide Body Conversion. I originally just wanted to install fender flares, but its not that simple unfortunately... This video will show you all the step to convert your R/T to an SRT Hellcat body kit. PART NUMBERS AND SPECS BELOW!

Wheels: Niche 22x10.5" et40
Tire: Yokohama Parada Spec X 305/40R22
Suspension: Stock R/T
OEM SRT Body Panels:
Front Splitter: 6XQ40TZZAA

very awesome video. As a youtuber myself filming DIY stuff for my SRT, I can appreciate the video and detail you put into it to show whats up and must need info! Those special clips/retainers would have scared most people away cuz taking off a bumper seems like a huge pain when its really not! Glad you could show that its not hard to do.

Excellent video, great tutorial. Changed my front and rear spoilers on my 2022 Durango R/T Plus TNG to the hellcat front spoiler and rear upper spoiler.

Definitely better looking. I have a 2017, im interested in just doing the SRT flares. Did you notice a huge difference in where they will meet the rockers?

Thank you so much for this as I have been looking for this forever. I take delivery of a 2021 DD RT in Destroyer Grey with blacktop back and wanted the SRT so much and could not find one in my color with the tow n go package but I got a great deal on this brand new so this helped me so much. Keep up the great work. Do you think you could fine info on the center mini console with cup holders and storage for the captains chairs along with the premium interior dash stitched trim? Def a new sub here. Car looks amazing.

@@RaztechPowersports I just meant the mini storage with illumination cup holders that goes in the middle of the seats not the whole seat themselves. And yeah I’m gonna get these parts in soon. But I think I might paint my front lip gloss black as opposed to body color. I think it’s subtle.

Doing flares on my srt now had 2 Cracked ones some how but the flares and lip make the whole truck
Great video. I’m ready to order the parts that you listed for my 2021 R/T. I noticed that 3 of the 4 fender flare part numbers you listed say “left” on the Mopar OEM Direct website and other Mopar websites too. Is that just a typo on Mopar? Just checking with you before placing my order to make sure I get 2 right and 2 left fender flares.

Great work, and I agree. It may seem like more work to remove the whole assembly, but it makes for a job done right. Doing something similar and can't seem to figure out the part number for the white nylon press in nut shown at 11:25 of the video. Any chance you could share what part number that is?
Thanks! Yeah unfortunately I don’t have that part number on hand. I would try to find it on a online oem parts diagram. Should be to hard to find.
Nice brother! We're almost twins - love the silver! I got same ride but I ordered mine from factory so I got the Tow N Go. Just like you I can't leave shit alone and modifying her already! Did you have to get all the parts painted? Where did you actually order from - Chrysler / Mopar?? 🏁🏁

@@RaztechPowersports I just installed my Hellcat front lower fascia/splitter. Exactly like you said the splitter isn't too much and not too little, gives it the "whole look."

Just bought a new 2021 SRT and the front bumper is unclipping itself near the grille. I’m going to use this vid to take things apart and give it a try before the dealer ruins it further 😉 thanks!

Yeah I have 2018 with 45k miles same color outside and same interior trim also with oem flip out tvs behind both front seat headrest with built in DVD player in glove box! I gave 45k for it
The air dams that you had to drill the rivets out of on the factory front lip..did you put those air dams back onto the HC lip? I just got my HC lip today and just wondering if people are putting those air dams back on or not.

Thanks. Paid $45 plus tax and title. Also had a $22k trade and put down a larger down payment. I would hold out for a newer one with the updated interior.

@@kingkante11 I would double check on that front splitter. I think it would fit. Try to cross reference the part numbers from the 2019 srt to the 2021 srt and see if it’s the same part number. If so, the Hellcat splitter will fit

Did the front lip come ready to install finish wise? Hopefully it doesn't need to get wrapped or painted so I can save some money, I kind of like the satin black finish.
No it came unfinished but any body shop would paint it for sub $200 bucks. It’s worth doing imo 🏁

Let me know when you add the parts to description! Just put 305/35/22”s on my 19’ R/T and they stick out just a little too far. I’m hoping this kit solves it!

Is the part number for the hitch cover bezel the correct one display in description for textured?
Yes it is
How were you able to color match? Everything I’ve read says they come unpainted and you have to get them matched to the body color
Yes, everything comes in plastic. You have to have it painted. That was just the factory color code on the driver side door. No special mixing or tenting. Perfect match

@@FishMD it’ll need at least a 10” wide wheel for everything to look correct
@@RaztechPowersports I think RT comes with stock 265s. 10.4 inches. So should be fine!
@@FishMD Yeah but it will look skinny. I’m running 305. You might be able to get away with some wheel spacers though

It’s an oem part so the dealer or there are a few good oem parts websites as well

Yes I believe so. You could add the rear later on as well
I have a 2014 Durango rt and I did the say swap and I’m having issues with the bumper fitting and for the headlights did u rewire them ?
My Durango was a 2021 so I did not have any of those issues unfortunately

I went through a friend who owns a body shop but Mopar parts direct is a great website. When you call the guys are helpful as well.

So you HAVE to remove entire rear bumper in order to install new valance?
Correct, it only takes about 15 min to remove it

Yes I’ll add them in the description in the next few days. Body shop has the receipt with all the part #s currently. Still waiting on the correct hitch cover to come in.

@@RaztechPowersports I have a 2019 R/T. I did the hitch and wiring harness a couple years ago. They stopped pre-wiring in 2014 models. Wiring was fairly straightforward. Only issue I had was the turn signals worked opposite. Turns out Mopar mispinned two wires in the plug that connects to the hitch. Once I repinned those wires correctly everything was good. Only other thing is you have to go to the dealer and pay them to activate the harness.

Around the exhaust? No

Looked up that front splitter. WTF are they charging a $100 core charge for?!?! It's a piece of plastic not an engine or a transmission. My 22 RT looks good enough I'm not taking it in the ass for a piece of plastic.
Yeah there where a few other items that had a core charge too.. just gave the old pieces back and reviewed a refund. No big deal. Local dealer or body shop is the only way to go.

The trim gaps are uneven
There’s no adjustment and the fitment is very good in person
The jeep patriot has bigger "flares" then that 🤣😂🤣
