I don't think I talk only for myself when I say that if Ange is sacked I'm gonna be more disconnected to this club that i've ever been. Clearly the club have been supporting Ange's vision and have been willing to go through this rebuild and new project. But as always, first sign of trouble and he's out. I just can't go through another cycle of this, I think that will be the end for me.
Couldn't agree more. Been a fan awhile now and if we sack Ange now it will be the most disappointed I will be in the club in those 22+ years. Are the results good enough at the moment, clearly not but we are in the tough rebuild that even poch said. It was always going to be tough, I think the first 10 game run ruined people's expectations. Let's see out this process or we will go backwards again by switching managers
agree 100% this IS the painful rebuild Poch spoken about except its even worse than it was then. we've tried quick fixes and they dont work. Fans all claimed they knew it was going to be rough but cant hack it. Its so depressing, lets just wait and see how we are when were fully tfit and what we can do in the cups. I'm really optimistic on the longer term. I wish fans could just chill for a season and let this build. Also with the injuries and the league being so random this year, I dont think ANY manager would have got us many more points through this period... would be shortsighted.
ben represents majority of fanbase who always claim supporting a rebuild but deep down they just want instant success. they cannot even tolerate losing games during the process.
If this is a rebuild who are we using "Bodge it & Scarper??" There's no meaningful rebuild going on here, just a succession of poor decisions based on lack of footballing nouse and tight arsed ownership !
this isnt a rebuild, we are regressing as a club, and before u talk abt injuries everyone has got injuries and most these injuries are caused by the manager but sure keep saying its a rebuild to keep your mind happy
@mainhead, no, we're supporting a legit premier league manager who will get the best out of spurs given the chance, and that is ange. "Living off the first 10 games" lol he was the first to say not to get ahead of themselves, if you actually think that people who support him base it purely off of the first 10 games you're even more out of touch that I thought
Ben is unbearable. Absolute sunshine fan smh. Sim explained the situation we are in perfectly. Ben just refuses to listen to any reason. Ben epitomizes the problem with this club. Would’ve unsubscribed if it were not for Sim keeping this channel from becoming a toxic cesspool
Injury crisis is an excuse because we have been inconsistent all season without the crisis. Take a look at Brighton, Ipswich, Crystal Palace. Disappeared against Chelsea and Newcastle. Same thing last season after we got out of the injury crisis. Inconsistency. With these track record, what makes you think Ange will turn things around? I though this was a youth project, a rebuild? So why not rotate to start Bergvall, Dorrington and Lankshear? Why run Udogie into the ground when we have Reguilon and Werner for Son? Sim is delusional, takes on positions that are so safe because all he can chop it off to when things eventually end it "Ange didnt get backed" "Fans were not patient enough", or the ultimate: "Atleast I tried to be positive". Tell me this. Why are managers above us doing so well with less than we got in terms of players? Because they can manage teams, they know what players they got and how to use them to the best of their abilities.
Why do managers that win *everywhere else they've been* come to Spurs fail? So Levy will sack Ange, hire another manager, he'll fail, rinse and repeat. This club is interested in PROFITS, not winning. And I'm tired of it.
As much as it pains me to say it...I agree completely. DL is not invested in Spurs, he's focusing on the venue, concerts, F1 track, NFL etc...anything but football.
It seems like top 4 finish is all that the club is interested in. Not trophies, not actually winning the CL, just qualify for the money and have the prestige (in Levy's mins) of being a perennial top 4 club. And we're not even that at the moment.
Hugo Lloris’s story about Levy handing players watches before CL final really summed up the man to a tee. To him THFC is just a brand to peddle his wares under and I sincerely doubt his football knowledge
The whole "Ange out" take is just plain dumb and reactionary in my opinion. As an American Spurs fan, I think it's fair to say that I view this squad, Ange and this season overall from a more outsider's perspective and as someone not stuck in the N17 mud. Ange has gotten Spurs to play some of the best football we have seen since Pooch, and we can all agree that the football we saw under Jose, Conte, Nuno, etc. was pretty boring and did not lead to desired results. Every Spurs fan should know that if Ange is sacked, the cycle this club has been in since 2019 will continue and nothing will actually change. So if Ange has them playing good football, when fully fit, why on earth would you want to start over again? When is the team going to back a manager for more than two or three seasons? When will the team be patient enough to build a winning squad? This "Ange Out" opinion has no logic whatsoever and so much of this fanbase are WAYYY too reactionary towards the manager. We know a manager cannot just come in and fix this club with magic, the problems are rooted deeper than that. Conte and Jose would have done that if it were possible, but with Ange we see what he is trying to build. There is a vision and determination to make that happen under Ange and the players seem to believe that as well. Is Ange perfect? absolutely not. If you want to gripe about his training methods potentially leading to more injuries or some tactical stuff like set pieces, sure I think that is fair. But to want him gone is basically saying you want things to continue as they have the past 5 years, which is downright pathetic. We all know that Levy needs to be replaced by someone with real footballing ambitions instead of revenue above all. Get rid of Levy and back Ange for another few seasons and lets see what this squad can actually do or else let's just stay in this cycle of mediocrity indefinitely. Sorry for the essay but i've sat here the last month seeing all the "Ange out" people make their cases and I can't take it anymore. COYS!!
Totally with Ange but I am also pro-Levy. His job is to maximize revenues and ensure we remain within spending and debt limits, which he has done very well. You can argue with some of the signings, but Levy has done quite well from a business perspective, which is his role.
@@howardbunsis4790 The problem with Levy in the past was that he had/has (idk if its still the case or not) way too much control over the "technical" part of the football which he just has zero clue about. We've had these transfers (Djed Spence is a good example) where we've completely wasted money on players the managers didn't even want. We've spent 20m on Spence when Conte CLEARLY admitted that he didn't ask or needed him. We've also have a tendency of signing our 4th, 5th priority signing instead of spending 10m more on the first one. In the end we always buy our C, D option. He also had horrible errors in the past, a good example is when we've had 0 signings after the UCL final. Completely clueless. We have a sporting director now and our staff structure changed a lot, so idk how much saying does Levy have at this point though. A good owner is somebody who just gives the money to the manager/sporting director and their staff and just that's it, let them control everything. Arsenal worked in a similar way with Edu/Arteta, the arabs worked the same way with Guardiola and compare the amount of bad signings on their side and in ours.
@@postgrad121 100% agree with you. I would add that none of us actually know what goes on at training. They may not be working as hard as we assume. Also, to get to the top requires pushing to the limit and that means taking some chances with injuries. If you don’t push, sure you won’t get injuries but you also won’t become elite at this level
@@OzSingaSpur I agree with your thoughts completely. By mentioning training and injuries, I was more so making the point that Ange is not perfect and some gripes are more than okay. But yes, you are right.
Its actually a simple logic:Start by going forward to try to kill games off. When 2-0, protect the lead, not sit back but drop the line a bit, lower the intensity and be more balanced. Dont rush the passes in transition because that ruins the flow of the offence which leads to more and more tracking back everytime we get the ball and lose possession. We see time and time again that Ange wants high intensity/tempo and high risk passes. Which leads to many lost possessions, which leads to many of the forward line having to go back and forth to protect and defend.
@@dcm8327 If you watched the Wolves game with your eyes open. Long passes by the keeper, Both Fullbacks not inverting as much, They were much more compact and after the 2-1 lead they sat back mostly and attacked on the counter
This is the issue with Spurs. No one wants to come to reality that we’re a mid table team rebuilding. Embrace the suck and man up, stop the revolving door of managers and mid grade talent
Our fans can't even get through a full game without bottling it, no way the players will ever be up for going the extra mile for these hysterical miserable sods
@@Dropkickurteacher Optimistic and excited for two weeks and we immediately want a world class manager who wins. We get one, not enough time to turn things around. Spurs supporters think maybe 1.5 weeks is enough time. “He needs sacked” smh. We’re living in the dream of what could’ve been after that Champions League final. Time to let it go like Elsa
It's not just about Ange anymore. It's about seeing it out with a manager and seeing how far we can come. Ange is different to Conte, in that he genuinely want whats best for the club. See where we are this summer and lets reevaluate then.
@dodxt who cares its a proper rebuild and weve been unlucky and now u want to dump the man when hes not had his own windows even i say give him 3 to 4 yrs
@dodxt As though any other manager, even Pep or Fergie could suddenly get Spurs into 4th or 5th from here. Look at Newcastle who were in a similar position with 0 trophies and calling for Eddie Howe's head. Now they're back in top4/UCL contention. The league title and a UCL spot might be now unachievable for Spurs, but real fans should be cheering on Spurs for the cups and to continue the rebuild for next season.
@dodxt: You don't get it, do you! It's a REBUILD! Won't happen inside 2 years of Ange's FOUR YEAR contract. What will a new manager achieve? Sweet f'all.
"Trust the process". Theres nothing on the pitch to suggest we are getting better. We started the season drawing 1-1 with leicester with our full squad. That was a warning of things to come. This manager has driven us into the ground and the injuries only keep piling up Ange Out
Trust in what. He is a talent killer. Look at his record of hamstring injuries at Celtics and now Tottenham. There is a common theme here. Not much rest and constant running forward and back, hence hamstring injuries.
What process? What progression? Dont tell us to have a blind faith. Where are the genuine progression since the first 10 games of last season. With how Ange has handled this crisis, there is no way the cups are achievable.
I agree with your statement but if supporters stop attending matches (which’ll happen if we’re 15th) and the ones that ARE there make it uncomfortable/toxic/ugly then Levy might be more inclined to say “It’s not worth the hassle” and sell. One can dream at least.
I find Sim’s views more mature and balanced. He understands the team’s current situation and the nuances of our rebuild. In contrast, Ben comes across as entitled, focusing solely on results without considering the mitigating factors. His perspective feels one-dimensional, and he seems unable to weigh all elements affecting our performance. Moreover, he disregards the potential fallout of sacking a manager during such a critical phase.
After 12 games we were getting 1.67 points per game. If we didn’t get the injuries and continued to achieve that ratio of points per game, we would be on 30 points now. That would have us in 6th and only 1 point out of 5th and 5 points out of 4th. Ben just ignores the injuries/suspensions but we are playing without our goalkeeper, key defenders (Romero, VDV, Davies and now Udogie), Bentancur has hardly played and then we have Moore, Odobert and Richarlison all missing completely. Missing half your players has to have a massive impact right? Ben is the typical Spurs fan who can’t stomach a rebuild and can’t look objectively at the reality of injuries/suspensions in an already thin squad (I believe we are 3 foreign players short of a full squad).
@OzSingaSpur odobert has played 72 minutes for spurs just let that sink in 72 minutes Davies is a back up. We had a full team against palace and only vdv missing against ipswich. These 2 players started against Chelsea and got injured on anges say so play one but no two both now injured. His training methods have come back to bite us in the ass.we are missing 3 players now 2 CB and a GK forget about the rest ange out
@ there is no way Ange played Romero and VDV against Chelsea without the ok from the medical team and the players themselves. None of us know what’s happening at training.
You are out of your mind. You sre acting like spurs without a couple of Injuries would be up there ??? You guys were losing every second game without Injuries too. Can't wait for your players to be back and to see you are still shit.
@OzSingaSpur yes just like sim back him and deflect. Since the opening 10 games last season we have been shocking. We have given the first goal away this calender year 15 times lost 22 of our last 47 games taken 24 points from 19 games this season. Do you think this is acceptable? Is record is on par with Christian gross The man is a fraud its a absolute shambles
Unsubscribing, we have no defence what are you on about. Romero said he’d go if Ange goes and Vdv can’t play a low block so he’d be sold. Then the whole team would need another rebuild. Stick with the manager like arsenal did.
Explain losses to palace, Brighton with vdv, romero, Vic. And Ipswich just vdv missing? Same nonsense as last year after Chelsea game injuries just wait till everyone's back and form at end of last season was a joke. The win rate is near identical (7% better) pre 'injuries' as though no other team has injuries. Also not rotating players enough and getting players to sprint back towards their own goal 50 yards every 2 minutes isn't sustainable. Look at his injury record for players at celtic.
@ in regards to Ipswich Brighton etc… if you expect us to win those games then you are taking about a completely perfect team… are you seriously expecting spurs to not lose any games? Every team in history ever has had bad games. Control your expectations
Honestly i dont know all the facts...but geez....Always thereabouts...injuries,red cards and crazy bad defence errors...Back A..N Itl B...OK...Sure ya need a few Guys back...❤🙏@@clubgel
Anyone calling for Ange to be sacked is nuts. Give the guy a chance to get players back and make a couple of January signings. You guys think we have a divine right to be a top six club because we have a great stadium. Ange over achieved last season so give the guy a chance. The media are desperate to sack him, don’t add fuel To that fire.
No it's a year or poor form. Brighton, palace, Ipswich all 3 were fit (vdv, romero and Vic) with Ipswich game with no vdv. When players all came back backend of last season still form was terrible
@@northbridge23 low iq take. There are no other managers out there so stick with the dude who has worst points per game ratio of all spurs managers in last 10 years
@ not anymore! I’m over it. Season ticket holder and fan since 1978 but I’ve concluded that we can never win with the ridiculous entitled half-arsed performance of our fanbase… we should have had Ipswich beaten in the dressing room but Library Lane can’t be arsed unless they’re already winning. Spending 90% of the time picking the losses out of our wins and whining like a bunch of spoilt brats when something doesn’t go their way. Ange gets team development and performance (generally speaking) but you cannot achieve anything without everyone onboard and our pessimistic fans are now creating the issue. To achieve consistency they are calling for change? Instafans
@@rickinrio when a club has won 1 league cup in 24 years of pwnership its pretty reasonable for fans to be whiney. Ange is a crap manager. prob the worst weve had since ossie ardilles.
Sim well done. Keep your clear thinking… A breath of fresh air… Memory of seasons past recycling should stop us doing the same mistakes and stay the course. Ben was Ange out since palace game. Poisoned by the toxicity of the haters… Hope results change and he frees his Spurs soul from negativity…
Pretty sure Ben was in support of a rebuild and claimed he wanted to stick it out like Arsenal did with Arteta even though he got 8th two seasons in a row. The problem isn’t Ange. It’s not even Levy. It’s our fanbase. We need to come to terms with who we are and what we actually want to achieve. Firing Ange will only set us back further. The man has had half his starting squad out for over a month and we are that ready to throw it all away?! Let’s see the project through. Still in four competitions, in a semi, and are only 6 points out of a euro spot. Give the guy a chance.
that Arteta comparison is a flawed logic imo because he even said so himself the first season when he got 8th position he came mid season and the second season covid hit and disrupted all the plans especially when new to a club and inexperienced
I'm trying to be nice but what a ridiculous comment. Are you related to Levy? The fans dont' sign the players. The fans don't sign the coaches. The fans dont spend tons of money on failing players and then say, well they just aren't good enough. The Spurs are losing and drawing to teams that are near or at relegation and you blame the fan? Your comment is ignorant and offensive. These fans are long suffering and pay the highest ticket prices in the EPL and you say, "keep spending your money and be happy with whatever you get". Your last name has to be Levy or you are an Arsenal fan.
@@jamespatrick9841no, but the fans (like Ben) are impatient and start moaning despite the fact we’re obviously going to experience inconsistency when resetting and rebuilding. These bandwagons then filter throughout the stadium and cause the owners to make knee jerk reactions and fire a manager who’s potentially able to come good over time. The fans are the loudest voices the owners listen to. Our fans have become so deluded and entitled that we sound like Arsenal fans. We’re not entitled to be in the top 4/6, especially not in the early stages of rebuilding. When Klopp took over at Liverpool, he told the fans to expect some pain for a little time. The Liverpool fans stuck with him and he took them far but some idiots in our fanbase (again, like Ben) want to scrap the plan and jump ship as soon as there are any tough results. How far will we get by sacking a manager every 18 months?
100% ange in back hìm let him build something we've had houren̈dous injuries until ì see the players not playing for the manager which I have n̈ot seen ÿet i have noʻ desire to sack the manager
Back the aussie clown who signed Temu Werner in January? Sounds like this manager don't know how to react and is just one trick pony with same tactics all season. Either that, or he is clearly delulu.
No manager would have success with so many players out injured. This Spurs fanbase is tiresome...they wanted Mourinho, Conte and Nuno out because of boring football. With a fit squad we have entertaining football under Ange, but the fanbsse is now unhappy because we conceed goals and lose as many games as we win. Mourinho - second in the Turkish league, Conte - Third in Serie A Nuno - third in the Premier league.
So you are happy we are 11th and playing crap football? Spurs fanbase problem is people like you who dont face the facts but just blindly supporting the manager! Who are you to say no manager would be much better than Ange with our injuries?! Remember this is THFC not Ange fan club. If you think of Ange as the only best manager that can get us playing attacking football please get out of the club with him!
@@familyread7889 Maybe we should get that bloke at Forest back.. He was given a fair chance wasn't he? Its like no one listened to what Conte said on his way out....
Remember how Arsenal fans wanted Arteta out but the club stuck with him and they have benefited from sticking with him through the bad times. I thought Spurs fans would remember this and be better than Arsenal fans...It's too soon in the process to be sacking Ange.
I totally agree or tended to agree and I don’t think they should sack him yet. But was Arteta’s team ever this bad? We could legitimately end the season bottom half
It's not an accurate comparison as Arteta is much younger and has adapted his ideas. Ange is the oldest manager in the league and is dead set on what he thinks works, so he won't be changing anything.
Arteta was in his very first role as a manager, he won an FA cup in his first year despite the bad squad which added credit to his name and COVID happened. If Arteta didnt win the FA cup and if there were fans in the stadiums he wouldn't still be at Arsenal
Oh Ben. Ange isn't the issue. Daniel is. To think anyone would take the Tottenham job under this board is crazy. It's the end of the road for Daniel. He must go.
just imagine where Aesenal would be now if they were as fickle as you light weights. FFS get a grip guys. we play the most entertaining football I have seen for many years as a spurs supprter.... and that is nearly 60 years. its a project not a quick fix.
@@T_J_we tried success already. Twice. Cue endless moaning about how hard on the eye both Jose and Conte were. And how we need to come back to our DNA of playing beautiful football.
The thing that I find confusing with people like you is that you say you support spurs and then say stuff like this. You don't really support spurs, you support individuals. You may as well go with him when he gets sacked
If Tottenham is a club that is in no way, shape or form set up to win trophies and Championships on a regular basis, then maybe Ange is actually the perfect coach for them. If you’re never going to win anything then at least you’ll be entertained.
We’ve got fans moaning about Levy fans moaning about Big Ange fans moaning about the players. Does anyone want to rally around the club and back the club .WE HAVE A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF INJURIES
Ange just isn’t the best man to get the best out of the situation we’re in now. His style requires the exact right personnel and when we don’t have it we’re so beatable.
You clearly didn't watch the game. First goal was poorly defended, Hwang was completely unmarked, second goal was preventable if players were communicating
Ben with full respect saying we’d have no more points now than if we had fit defenders is a bit ridiculous, some of the goals we’re conceding are very obviously due to the defensive personal. Even up front we have no room to rotate due to injuries which is leaving our attackers fatigued and less effective. Come off it this is one of the worst injury crises I’ve seen.
Ben’s just an idiot, he can’t see that having our two quality first choice centre backs that suit our system would mean we’d perform better than having a slower Dragusin and an 18yo midfielder bought from the Championship. He’s just set on creating a bandwagon or rage baiting the fans
@@clubgellol the players performances where pretty shitty. I don’t think it was tactics, both off midweek fixtures against fresh squads with something to prove. Neither of those teams will be relegated - you honestly think your going to click your fingers and the manager change will just cause a crisis at this stage - wait for the summer and stop selling panic
Ben and Sim please ask yourselves some questions before going ahead with this Ange Out campaign. We sacked Nuno bcos of underwhelming performances, was same for Mourinho and Conte. So all managers coming to Tottenham with proven track records are garbage? When Conte could no longer bear it, his outburst was criticised on this channel. We can all see what Ange is trying to do, but clearly, very few players have the quality for this system. Rather thank press Levy to back him and give us quality players, you are Ange Out. It's unreasonable. Before some of us begin leaving this channel, please be abit rationale. I will be with you on Levy Out all the way, but not on this Ange Out campaign.
Since Ange started his 2nd season, Spurs have been scoring a lot of goals (2nd in goals scored) and conceding most of the season's goals since the entire backline and goalkeeper were injured. He said he'd need more time. He's still in all the cups, after knocking out last season's title winners Man City and last season's FA Cup winners Man Utd in the EFL cup. The title race might be over, but the team will get reinforcements over the winter and first XI players (especially defenders) will be returning soon. Yet now Ben is Ange out.
@ let’s at least wait for centre backs. Then let’s do an assessment based on potential place in the league and cups perspective, then a decision could be done.
@@DmytroChernenko-j7i This club isn't beating Liverpool, literally the best club in Europe at the moment. League cup is out of reach this season. The only chance Ange (using the realistic LOGIC, instead of hopium) got is winning the FA cup. BRO WE HAVENT WON ANYTHING IN YEARS AND PEOPLE ARE EXPECTING US TO BE TOP OF THE TABLE WINNING EVERYTHING FAM GIVE IT TIME AS IN YEARS FOR RESULTS TO SHOW. NOT TO MENTION INJURIES ARE COOKING US AS WELL AND THIS GUY THINKS NAH JUST SACK ANGE ABSOLUTE NO CRITICAL THINKING😭
I love how fans can't have a different opinion without being labelled negative or toxic. The stats don't look good for Ange and some of the losses this season have been appalling.
Do you love it, or does it bother you if someone actually doesn't point out the cancerous nature of a vast section of the fan best moaning about not having instant success?
@echowarrior1 I just find it funny that if you don't have the same opinion as everyone else you are somehow not allowed to question issues at Tottenham. God forbid someone actually brings facts and stats rather than just opinion. Which by the way, people are entitled to 👍🏻
"Ange gets criticised whatever he does". Yes Sim because he is the manager, no good us criticising the hotdog vendor. Ange also gets plauded when we were winning, you see how that works?
What would the Ange Out "fans" say if the Spurs penalty had been successful? If it had been scored, am I right in saying that fans would be happier? But it didn't go in and the draw is Ange's fault?
Hats off to Sim for holding the line under fire. Ben mate, it's easy to give up and turn to negative despair, time to stop talking to the other half of the supporter group. This is a tough period of time, inujuries arrive due to lack of depth resulting from a list cleanout without replacements yet. Let's get in those replacements, get a full squad for next season, minimise the injuries, rotate the team and get some consistency then it will turn. It's always hard to maintain support in tough times but this is the true test. Support is easy to give when you're winning.
I’m from the US, and I haven’t been supporting this club for long, but for the few year I have, I feel in love with this club, and I can understand the frustration from fans that have been loving this club all their lives. However, what I have learned while supporting this club is that, Tottenham isn’t a regular football club, but I believe that we have a manger that is willing to stick with this club even with all the circumstances. This is a rebuild and we are in cup semi final, and still in Europe. If we had a fully fit squad, I believe things would’ve been different.
That penalty made no sense. Watch it over. Sar is standing on his line, about a yard to his right, yet that's where Son tried to put it. He had 2/3 of the goal to look at the other way 🤔...He scores there, obviously it's a different game
In my opinion, the team's problem is the changes of coaches, each one brings players who fit his style of play, with the result that the players do not fit together, for example, Kulusevski does not give the ball but wants to carry it. Levi must stay with one coach for several years, the team must be built from scratch, patience from the fans is needed, support for the self-confidence of the players and the coach, the results will come after a few years, not immediately. Sir Alex did not build United in 3 or 4 years, it took him time, but he also endured for a long time. I don't know if Anji is this coach, although I would like it to be him. I like his football and the way he talks and thinks.
This is the character building part of the rebuild. Before the club can win a trophy, the supporters need to learn to unite behind the manager and the club. True fans will understand their role is to support the team, the players and the manager- especially when the going is tough
Give the man some backing… I’m a low key fan from aus.. but seriously you all need to pull your head in and support the man doing a tough job with the resources he has. What a poor fan base…. No matter who you have as far as a manager or players with your mentality on the collective front you deserve no trophies or EP success. Your pride is shameful. He’s too good for your club as a personality. Tell me I have no clue or the EPL is top tier or whatever else I don’t care but it appears to me you are simply flakey. You don’t deserve him or any better manager for that matter. I wish him all the best and wish you all the best in respect that you can realise he is actually doing great and start supporting your team constructively. He deserves better fans than you - the level of club trauma and shame he is bearing for you and trying to fix it… my hat off to Ange - good on you mate maybe a better club will find you soon but I hope it’s your decision to stay or leave. You deserve good attention. This can’t be healthy for you…
Wolves were the better team for me. I thought a loss was on the cards. Werner is possibly our worst player I can remember in the last 20 years, with boy Mikey and Wilson out it had forced Ange to pick between a knackered son who has lost 2 yards and Werner who can’t do anything. It won’t matter who the manager is the team is all over the shop.
Sim - as always, I can count you to see what others miss! I swore that Johnson got fouled off the ball by on that first goal. I was 100 that we would see a VAR review - but it is what it is. Thanks to you, Ben and all that make WATT such a great show!
Can tell Ben hasn’t got the balls to see the tough times out! If you have any sense you know we wouldn’t be sitting where we are with all these injuries. Have to give Ange to the end of season and reassess his future from there.
Ben is typical of our young fans negative and oh no we are not winning let s throw out the manager but with no alternative Sean butler interviewed fans after the match and not one was ange out so looks like they are in the minority
Does anyone know how bad we will be if we sack Ange! No manager in the world could do any better with our situation! We have no backline and a second tier goalie. We are so young as a squad the future will be bright with stability. Levy please come out and say Ange is our manger for the future and to prove it extend his contract and end all Bens bs.
Ben you literally said in the match preview "do we really have any chance of winning this?!" and now we've drawn the game and you're saying it's a joke that we lost?!? Critercise Ange previous games for not tweaking his tactics now that he does you're saying we didn't create enough chances?! We have 10 injuries mate and playing twice a week. Wolves might be in relegation but they have been in good form recently. The 2 goals they scored.. One should have been a foul, the other was a 1 in 50 shot. Far too harsh. And Sim re Timo Werner, he played that very good low cross to Solanke, he played Dom through on goal with a through ball and he played another nice cross across the face which someone should have attacked at the near post. Saying he was 'dribbling ball out of play' and 'getting caught offside' .. They were literally his only 2 mistakes for the whole game... Got to stop scapegoating the guy, very toxic.
I support Watford but I'm from North London so I know loads of Tottenham & Arsenal fans from school. They always dig me out😭🐝. They said Ange out because the style of play is naive & the team is struggling defensively.
Ben and Sim...and most of this fan base live in a reality where they want everything perfect....CMON FOR HEAVENS SALE THIS TEAM IS DOING ITS BEST...STOP WHINING LIKE BABIES... SUPPORT THE TEAM...
Ben is spot on - Sim is forgetting with our first choice back 5, we lost to bottom of league Palace, dropped points to Leicester, lost to Brighton from 2-0 up
Why does everyone go to extremes. It’s always said as either a rebuild or overnight success. Where’s the balance? Where’s the progress being made after 18 months. The same occasional good performance happened in Ange’s first 10 games. I haven’t seen any progress since then so how is this rebuild going? Ange has said injuries are caused by him. His style of play, his training. So what, we should always expect key injuries? It’s his job to get the players up to the right fitness level, his job to mentally prepare the players, his job to look at the opposition and find the most effective way to play and win or at least draw. I see no evidence of any of this. Consistency is king. We are more consistently cr@p than we are good.
48:56 😂😂😂 Sim looks disgusted with Ben, and rightly so. We‘re not getting relegated so let’s just see how the season plays out. Changing managers now brings nothing.
Again wrong application of tactics, Wolves were playing in the second half with a weakened team. Playing deeper should have been applied to the Chelsea or Brighton game, we should have played to our strength against Wolves.
Unpopular opinion- Salah isnt as much better than son as we see right now. What slot did with Salah is the epitome of great man management. He realized that Salah couldn't run like a maniac for 90 minutes as he used to so what he did was he stopped him from pressing and he managed his minutes. He's also getting him in the right areas to make something happen because that's what Salah always did. Imagine if ange did that with son instead of playing every game as wide as possible. That's why slot will succeed with minimal resources. Because he's getting the best out of his players while ange is destroying players by running them to the ground. For example, son, vdv, porro etc Ps before you disagree read everything I said and imagine if we swapped managers what would have happened
Ange is incompetent and has to go-otherwise we are going to be in a relegation battle. When Poch was talking about rebuild, he did not mean bringing in youngsters with zero PL experience and a striker for a vastly inflated fee. Open your eyes Spurs fans, Ange is a complete disaster.
Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton, Fulham all above us with lesser quality and squads, why??? Because our manager is tactically rubbish and don’t blame injuries because we were rubbish before injuries.
Don't take this the wrong way but is your squad genuinely better than those teams? A key test is asking which of the other Big 6 sides would happily take your players. At Spurs, maybe only Van Der Ven and even then, you gotta factor in the injury concerns. Newcastle and Villa clearly have several more players a Liverpool or Arsenal would love to take.
@@ciaranoconnell4783 I agree. I was just pointing out that we have more quality than teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, Fulham, Forest etc. Don’t expect to compete with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea etc. Just think any half decent manager would have us around 6th/7th. Ange is not a good manger.
Are you thick? Those teams have posted far fewer games across all competitions. There are able to rotate and keep players fresher for longer. Our injury list has been notable since Newcastle away at the start of September when we had 6 players out. It’s not got better since then, it’s got worse. We’re playing in every competition with a smaller pool of capable players.
For me, I want to see what Ange can do in the January transfer market. I’ve heard some good rumors, some bad rumors but if we get good players. I’m all for angeball
'I AM FULLY ANGE OUT NOW'. Really|? How thin skinned and easily influenced are you? Ok, so who do you _realistically_ want as the next Manager and how long will you give him before you lose your patience? and then who do you want? You and all the other fickle fans are part of the Spurs problem. Just when you think this channel and the presenters have grown up they show this channel is really here for kids.
Sims new year resolution should be to stop acting like he doesn’t see things. If it’s bad call it, if it’s good call it and stop making excuses for mediocre performances
Sim, protecting one's lead or seeing a game out has to be a well rehearsed tactic on the training field. There is no evidence of such a tactic. Why not practice the "low block"? Of course its not in Ange's book of Plan A Only and we are where we are. The profound disappointment & frustration of the Supporters is the worst I've ever experienced.
And those losses were atrocious. Crystal Palace, Brighton with a 2-0 lead and Ipswich? Oh but ipswich won against Chelsea, the team that every deluded fans were saying will be below us this season.
Players change, managers change, the only thing that never changes are the owners and thats mostly where the problem lies. Im in the ange out camp but i dont think any manager would succeed with levy in charge his motto is profit before glory.
The problem is that some fans who want success which is reasonable but will not accept any excuse, which is complete nuts when we have a goalkeeper and two centre backs out at once for a long period of time. Name another team that has had to contend with that.
We haven't had enough options off the bench to cause any damage, regardless of who plays. Not having Richie has hurt, and not having a tricky winner who is prepared to take on his man.....Odebert has been a big loss. Kulu and Son just keep playing the same predictable way by cutting inside. Rarely anyone gets to the byline to cross. When they do, we often score.
We get rid of Ange and we're back to square 1, with yet another manager inheriting a squad not molded for his style. Ange is the man for the rebuild, when our full crop of players is available we're unplayable. This period confirmed all our fears....the squad was left paper thin from the summer
From the sidelines, it’s clear that Son isn’t at his best anymore. While we appreciate his past contributions, football is a business, and if his prime is behind him, it might be time to move on. A good captain should acknowledge their limitations and prioritize the team. Son shouldn’t be taking penalties-leave that to Solanke. Maddison shouldn’t be our primary dead-ball specialist when Porro delivers better free kicks, and corners should be taken by Porro or Kulusevski, whose deliveries are superior. Using Son for corners makes some sense since he avoids aerial duels, but these small adjustments are crucial for the manager to address.
@@robinblick9375 we won't get relegated. but we will persist with perpetual mediocrity if we flip/flop and panic at the first sign of inevitable adversity whilst trying to do something special.

Couldn't agree more. Been a fan awhile now and if we sack Ange now it will be the most disappointed I will be in the club in those 22+ years. Are the results good enough at the moment, clearly not but we are in the tough rebuild that even poch said. agree 100% this IS the painful rebuild Poch spoken about except its even worse than it was then. we've tried quick fixes and they dont work.
Theres nothing wrong supporting a rebuild, we're just not supporting a crap manager who's living off his first 10 games.
this isnt a rebuild, we are regressing as a club, and before u talk abt injuries everyone has got injuries and most these injuries are caused by the manager but sure keep saying its a rebuild to keep your mind happy

Agee totally. Ipswich just beat Chelsea 2-0, does that mean Maresca out?
Sim is a happy clapper
No sim is fkn delusional
Why do managers that win *everywhere else they've been* come to Spurs fail? So Levy will sack Ange, hire another manager, he'll fail, rinse and repeat. This club is interested in PROFITS, not winning. And I'm tired of it.
As much as it pains me to say it...I agree completely. DL is not invested in Spurs, he's focusing on the venue, concerts, F1 track, NFL etc...anything but football.
@@Chris-zu3fmcan’t compare winning in Scotland to winning in England
Because our hysterical fans deserve nothing
THIS AINT NO SAN ANTONIO SPURS...ITS NOT NBA...
Let me get this right. Ben wants us to go forward and kill the game off. Also wants us to sit back and protect the lead. Mmmm

This club's hierarchy is rotten to the core.
7 wins in 19 games isn't a good stat line....why he keep saying "we won 7 games" like it's a positive
Ange just isn’t the best man to get the best out of the situation we’re in now. His style requires the exact right personnel and when we don’t have it we’re so beatable.
Can't even be mad at that result... the 2 goals we conceded were worldies any team would of conceded them!!!..
Excuse after excuse
You clearly didn't watch the game. First goal was poorly defended, Hwang was completely unmarked, second goal was preventable if players were communicating
Absolutely tragic that we are fighting over a manger, when one man has been in charge for over 20 years and he has one trophy to show for it.
He’s just reaching for reasons to justify his fickle position
Ben’s just an idiot, he can’t see that having our two quality first choice centre backs that suit our system would mean we’d perform better than having a slower Dragusin and an 18yo midfielder bought from the Championship. He’s just set on creating a bandwagon or rage baiting the fans
Nope it's the tactics. Explain loses with palace, Brighton, Ipswich before defensive injuries.
When there are so many players on the injury list at the same time, and two seasons in a row, it’s not a coincidence. It’s not because of bad luck.
Ange is not the problem. Levy is he does the same thing to managers and doesn't back them properly he is the root problem of the course
We are in the rebuild. Have patience please
Patience until when? At this rate, spurs might be skirting relegation battle soon.
@ let’s at least wait for centre backs. Then let’s do an assessment based on potential place in the league and cups perspective, then a decision could be done.

This club isn't beating Liverpool, literally the best club in Europe at the moment. League cup is out of reach this season. The only chance Ange (using the realistic LOGIC, instead of hopium) got is winning the FA cup. I'm not even sure if this club is even capable of winning Europa after the thrashing it received from Galatasaray and bottling against Rangers.
We have been 'rebuilding' for the last 25 years.
The Ange out are not Tottenham fans they are ENIC fans.Who will manage us.Levy massive problem he is the one to get out.
Wolfmauler, I couldn't agree more a little look up and you side foot the ball to the keepers left a certain goal.
Yeah let's get rid of another good manager and he'll go on and do better things JUST LIKE NUNO
This can’t be healthy for you…
This fan base reminds me of the xrp army 😂😂 I’m not sure that’s good thing ?
Wolves were the better team for me. I thought a loss was on the cards. Werner is possibly our worst player I can remember in the last 20 years, with boy Mikey and Wilson out it had forced Ange to pick between a knackered son who has lost 2 yards and Werner who can’t do anything. It won’t matter who the manager is the team is all over the shop.
We're often not clinical in front of goal and are pretty much guaranteed to concede at least one goal.
Sim - as always, I can count you to see what others miss! I swore that Johnson got fouled off the ball by on that first goal. I was 100 that we would see a VAR review - but it is what it is. Thanks to you, Ben and all that make WATT such a great show!
Really enjoying your channel guys! It’s the best soap opera going. As a fellow Aussie I’m hoping Ange can hang on.
Weak fan base is our problem .. been a fan since 82 seen worse than this ..
Sean interviewing handful of fans is the test!
Embarrassing how quickly Ben changed his mind after clickbait Sava was on the show. Exactly what’s wrong with our club
We get an injury crisis every season it is repetitive and has plagued both of Anges first two seasons.
I AGREE WITH SIM …need to have some perspective here, there will be pain but we need to sit tight for ONCE and try to ride this out
I support Watford but I'm from North London so I know loads of Tottenham & Arsenal fans from school. They always dig me out😭🐝.
They said Ange out because the style of play is naive & the team is struggling defensively.
At present, defence is an issue because of a long list of injuries 😮
Sim rattles on far too much and makes excuses all over the place. Archie Gray is a CM not a CB so why are we not playing an 18 year old CB at CB
ben youre delusional
We did enough to win the game. 0 shots on goal in second half 🙄🤔
Ben and Sim...and most of this fan base live in a reality where they want everything perfect....CMON FOR HEAVENS SALE THIS TEAM IS DOING ITS BEST...STOP WHINING LIKE BABIES... SUPPORT THE TEAM...
Ben is spot on - Sim is forgetting with our first choice back 5, we lost to bottom of league Palace, dropped points to Leicester, lost to Brighton from 2-0 up
We also lost 5 of our last 7 games last season with a fully fit squad. After the first 10 games it’s been woeful
We need to back Ange until after January, we were playing incredibly when we had VDV and Romero. And you know Ange will make some incredible signings
i used to value sim's tottenham opinions more than any other person - now he is as delusional as ty from aftv
Yeah is ty
Up until the Man City 4-0 win (11/23) we had averaged 1.4 points per game. Now 1.3 per game.
For example, son, vdv, porro etc
Ps before you disagree read everything I said and imagine if we swapped managers what would have happened
Slot wouldn't be able to make son a technical player like salah is

Sim you articulate your argument with fact and evidence, Ben your emotion clouds your judgement and it shows through in your discourse.
100% with Sim. You two perfectly represent our fan base.
Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton, Fulham all above us with lesser quality and squads, why??? Because our manager is tactically rubbish and don’t blame injuries because we were rubbish before injuries.
@@rhucayford2928 absolutely well said 👏
Don't take this the wrong way but is your squad genuinely better than those teams?
@@ciaranoconnell4783 I agree. Sonny has not been very good this season. I think that’s a big reason
It's so painful listening to sim
Sim, protecting one's lead or seeing a game out has to be a well rehearsed tactic on the training field. There is no evidence of such a tactic. Why not practice the "low block"? Of course its not in Ange's book of Plan A Only and we are where we are. The profound disappointment & frustration of the Supporters is the worst I've ever experienced.
We lost 5 games in the first 11 games? Injuries I think not.
Exactly
And those losses were atrocious. Crystal Palace, Brighton with a 2-0 lead and Ipswich? Oh but ipswich won against Chelsea, the team that every deluded fans were saying will be below us this season.
@@kripcox8049 after the first 12 games we were getting 1.67 points per game. That ratio would have us 6th now and a point out of 5th.
Sim seriously your excuses are so mad I felt compelled to respond. Injuries? How did Spurs do with no injuries against Ipswich and Palace, Brighton?
Players change, managers change, the only thing that never changes are the owners and thats mostly where the problem lies. Im in the ange out camp but i dont think any manager would succeed with levy in charge his motto is profit before glory.
Wolves had 6 players out
The problem is that some fans who want success which is reasonable but will not accept any excuse, which is complete nuts when we have a goalkeeper and two centre backs out at once for a long period of time. Name another team that has had to contend with that.
Congratulations.. hope you feel better
Using Son for corners makes some sense since he avoids aerial duels, but these small adjustments are crucial for the manager to address.
ange out is clearly the wrong move. this is a process. trust it.
How does that song go....I believe in miracles...' Bear in mind that everything is a 'process'...including relegation.
@@robinblick9375 we won't get relegated. but we will persist with perpetual mediocrity if we flip/flop and panic at the first sign of inevitable adversity whilst trying to do something special.
