Obviously it was always a joke. He turned himself as he loves to do into the headline again and crafted this narrative that Tottenham are a weak club with a weak mentality and weak fans. I agree the football is no longer good. I personally think its due to injuries. The team is too slow in transition when winning the ball (except for in big matches) and the current blokes cant get the ball past half way. Against Tamworth it was gray to Moore to gray. Any time Dragusin got it he gave it to Gray. Before the injuries the league position was only that bad due to individual errors. Once Romero and VDV are back there are no excuses left.

The goal difference is the problem. There's no game or fixture management, just go all out to score as many as possible. Then the players are useless the next game. Villa for instance have a negative goal difference. Generally go a goal up and conserve energy. Doesn't always work but theres far fewer injuries and the players are fresh.

There's no game or fixture management, just go all out to score as many as possible. Then the players are useless the next game.
Villa for instance have a negative goal difference. Generally go a goal up and conserve energy.
Doesn't always work but theres far fewer injuries and the players are fresh.
